Game dev is expensive.

Games take months to make, when it's a professional team with previous experience working together under a good design, with proper management, legal stuff is in order, there's an office etc.

Summer Time Saga is super impressive. Far from complete, full of faults, but what they do have is getting near professional quality.

Professional quality doesn't mean best quality. Game dev takes time. Same-face makes it faster. Re-using assets makes it faster. Professionals can cut corners while the sacrifice is less noticeable, but professionals also have jobs making bigger games because they're pros.

There are so many games with high promise and quality out there now. Anyone remember Newgrounds? The quality is already way above that. Flash animation got us Zone (and thousands of nobodies and would-have-beens). Wait 5 or so years, and you can tell the best from the rest. There's going to be some good stuff.

Ok. I have this very simple idea for a rpg maker #bimbofication, #straight_shota, #incest game and I want some opinions. The concept basically goes:
>The main character is a 12-15-year-old on summer vacation with his aunt because his parents went on a trip or something.
>On the first day, the main character finds or is given a fairy statue.
>The main character takes it and goes to sleep. That night he enters a "dreamland" populated by fairies.
>The fairies are however incompetently dumb and horny and constantly fall to predators (bugs and fairy-eating plants mostly).
>The player decides to help some of them get free from the predators (but don't worry, they respawn after being killed).
>After rescuing some fairies he wakes up and notices that his Aunt is acting a bit bimbo-like.
>Turns out that he was in some kind of mindscape of his aunt and the fairies represented her sexual desires while the "predators" represented social / cultural norms.

Now the questions.

- I used a different method to show up images in new events, this make them look better, more smooth;

- Kobe and Doyle (the woodcutters) can now be found outside the village entrance, cutting woods (how strange uh?) during the day, after the first meeting at the inn,; so, if you're stuck at some point, maybe it is better to check on them ;-P

- new outfit for both Addine and Elda;

- Six new sex events! (For a total of 32 images.) and, of course, every event have it's own sex sprite;

When you say "better wegs" what exactly are you referring to? Better art? Better writing? Better gameplay? Because there are games right now that no matter how far Critical Bliss reaches, it will never come close to those games in terms of their specified object.

This entire post reads like one giant wall of projection, but this part stands out the most to me.
