if your commission info is 2 pictures long it might be time to condense it, I mean no offence intended it makes it look like a lot to read, and might put off people off looking at it, there must be a way to make it more concise. A smaller font might allow you to fit more onto one pic.

Here's the thing, man.. think about how many frames you're talking about
now multiply that by the cost of an equivalent individual picture
now mortgage your house. there's a reason animation is dying. it's intrinsically too expensive to be worth doing. it's like how nobody can afford to pay someone to do what a housekeeper used to. for that person to make their rent, you'd have to pay more than yours

The one thing I'm not sure of is how many frames it will be total. That and it depends on the artist too (one might draw on twos/use flash/interpolation, etc) which will result in varying levels of effort.

Im not saying I don't understand that it's very time consuming and a lot of work, but just how much so, well Im afraid I don't have the foggiest.

well just look at this sumbitch >>1243406 and count 'em. you can go by the speckles. it's hard for me to see exactly, but it's at least 8. it lasts about half a second, and on top of that it loops, which is harder to pull off.. what's more, as lovely and smooth as this is, it's the bare minimum number of frames to make a decent-looking persistence-of-movement effect, so.. if the regular drawing was already 25 bucks you're already in the hundreds of dollars. now you want 3 seconds? AND something as complex and difficult to draw as an unmasking? You're not just butting dangerously close to (if not clear over) four digits, but you'll need a professional animator for it to look even okay.
at BEST you can realistically commission some keyframes. but inbetweening? forget about it

It was more so it would fit in the tumblr page nicely without it being down scaled and have the text readable at the same time.
I wanted it to look simple while being able to display examples of my art, so despite being two pages, people only had to scroll down.

depends on how many panels, but like.. probably 40-50 bucks, less if the backgrounds weren't super complex. There's a lot of variables involved, but it's basically like every panel is a new commissioned drawing... eeexcept if they're simple then they might each be 10 dollar drawings, y'know?

You've got plenty of anatomical errors, but the basic line art and coloring is pleasing to the eye. I think you could get away with a price tag of anywhere from 20 to 40 bucks depending on how many people know about you and how much time you have to spend on commissions. I was paying $150 for a comic but the artist ran out of steam mid-way through and just canned it without taking cash. Made me feel really guilty and they refused any sort of compensation.

Although I've ordered a comic or two since, I feel like the pay-off for comics isn't great and the turnaround is pretty bad. An artist can get across a lot of the context within the one image.

I had an interaction where I asked for a fairly simple piece, single nude character in a pose, simple background with one minor variation in a second picture.

Everything was going great, we got to lineart and suddenly the artist was adding three other characters to the piece without me asking, detailing out the background and such. I figured it must have been her idea to do that since I never asked for it. She charged me anyway. All in all it came to like 130$, really bad communication and what seemed like a lack of care for details I asked to be added to the character over and over again. 1/10 would not commission again.
