I wanna talk about Croix and how we can make her better, if she's going to redeem herself. Plus the Keisuke Sato 2017 manga already went with the idea of adopted Sucy, so I guess he got some ideas from Yoshi just like he gave Terio some ideas for her mother and sisters in the 2013 manga. I mean, they can literally do anything with LWA all things considered. They haven't expanded the lore too much and they have plenty of magical creatures to explore. The novel introduced a magical furry wolf society and the manga had a full rat community to match up with Akko's rat transformation and even some sentient mushrooms.

There's 4 or so hentai doujins and one that's not been uploaded (bar the sample pages) and none of them involve Akko and Ursula. It's either Sucy and Akko or Sucy and Diana + minions. Two are futa, one is hetero, one is octopus rape and the other is yuri. I guess more if you count Western, and if you do, that's another futa.

The thing is that LWA can introduce almost any plot point and people will accept because it's a cartoony show about magic that plays it very loose with believably. People didn't question Gran Charion or the sharksnake nuclear missile or the fact that the game is about a timeloop scenario. Trigger can literally introduce any monster or magical creature they want and people would accept it. Elves, demons, giants, orcs, vampires, werewolves... like, I doubt anyone would complain if any of these were introduced as long as they weren't too edgy and had LWA cartoonish desigh; they can even go moderately sci-fi and introduce an antagonist using magitech robots or in terms of lore they could introduce Arthur and Merlin and the rest of the knights or the lost civilization of Atlantis who used magic for selfish purposes as a plot point. The single rule of LWA is basically to not make it too dark and keep the current design aesthetic.

In terms of character relevance they honestly have similar carte blanche: they could say that Sucy's mom is actually a dangerous evil witch or that Amanda's family is funding, aiding and profiting from creating weapons that combine magic with technology or that now Akko and Diana are super-special defenders of the world because part of Yggdrasil remained inside of them or just actually go with the ridiculous Jasminka backstory and say that she has a demon hidden inside of her. As I said, as long as they don't go too dark people will accept it.

Honestly, the main thing holding LWA back is likely the schedule. They can't introduce all the magical creatures they could because animating a huge dragon takes effort and animator power.

If they make a S2, they'd have to have an overarching plot. I honestly don't believe they're skilled enough to come up with another episodic season with a solid set of 12 episodes, let alone 25. There were too many episodes that were just okay, and not enough ones you'd recommend other people go and watch.

If they were to continue the series, OVAs, OVAs, OVAs. They can continue their lighthearted witch adventures, have fantastic production values, and the scenarios will be much tighter.
