What's your source on this statement? Gilgamesh does not have his own command spells, and his innate magic resistance is low (but is bolstered by the golden armor he wears and can probably be increased further if he brings out specific treasures). Even with increased magic resistance, the only Servants shown to be able to resist command spells at all are those with an A-rank in magic resistance.

That composition is actually very male chauvinistic. When you think about physical strength and emotional strength, the latter is more difficult to achieve. Anyone can be strong if they pick up a weapon, but you can't become mentally strong just by obtaining a thing. In the works of Nasu Kinoko, strength in battle is possessed by the heroines, and the male characters symbolize emotional strength. When I noticed this, I felt like even I'm stuck in my ways [?] in some respects. For example Arcueid is said to be the strongest in the world of Type-Moon, but at the same time because she's in love with Shiki she tends to give in to what he says. It's more like standard medieval knight practical. Absolutely no one would kit themselves like Seibah when we talk about realism in any fashion even with the Nasu magic involved.

Besides people talk way too much during combat for realism to ever matter. No one should be allowed to yell out EX CA LI BURRRRRR before the enemy interrupts them unless they were so fucked up they would have lost to a simple slash anyways. This is already ignoring how masters are super easy to kill and should always be the #1 target and can be easily done in by just about anything.

To some degree I agree with you, but I wouldn't want to even risk letting a Heroic Spirit's weapon even close to my armor out of fear that there is some bullshit like Rule Breaker or some other strange effect like when going against Diarmuid. In addition, with the tremendous regeneration ability of servants if the weapon doesn't damage the core, then it usually can be regenerated fairly quickly.

I can think of very few situations that were heinously bad in that. Saber VS Rider in fate route there was some distance already so it was safe to do so, Saber VS Fake assassin I can't remember well and during her fight VS Gil she had just gotten out of Avalon so she had a chance to. Maybe I don't remember, but can you name an instance where it was heinously unrealistic? Also Alter vs Rider in HF Alter had gotten chained up by Rider's nails so that created an opportunity.

I didn't really even know that Ilya was in FSN until I saw her for the first time. She was my favorite character in FSN. Was wondering if something actually happened to her or if Prisma was just a fanservice cash grab.
