This series is great. Charioce is the hero king we've been waiting for in an anime, Nina is a cute dragon woman, El is the son of Michael and Jeanne and is growing up in this wacky world, and Azazel is feeling lots of pain.
Favaro and Kaisar would steal the show if they were focused more than the other characters, and we already got complete character arcs for them.

I wait with anticipation every week for the new episodes.

They do. But it's also the most dishonorable thing to slay your king. But it's exactly the point of his character and internal conflict of Kaisar for first few episodes until he decides to stay loyal to his personal ideals as much as possible and confronts the king under the statue. IIRC his family literally took pride in being the most loyal servants of the king until they were stripped of nobility. Please take that into consideration.

Episode 20 Charioce is going to kill Kaisar. Anyone else would be too important. Can't kill Azazel because he's the only demon, can't kill Mugaro, can't kill Favaro because he's the mentor/too iconic (this could be subverted a la Kamina), can't kill Rita because she's already dead.
Kaisar is my favorite but I'm already prepared that if someone dies to piss everyone off, the most likely one will be him. I guess Rita could necromance him.

This was the weirdest episode yet, what the fuck Charioce.

That's exactly why he sold out Azazel when he had opportunity to. Why he stayed on the side watching how Azazel and Charioce slaughtered each other. When, after his discussion with Rita, he decided to stay silent forever and follow every order of Charioce.

I am not claiming Kaisar is saint. Not even angels are. He's just doing his best to live according to some knightly rules from their time, but even then, as we were shown, his personal ideals (which coincidently aligns with most of aforementioned rules) take priority.

If Kaisar decided KILLING Charioce is the only way left, I'm pretty sure he would do it.
