The dub will be some good downtime until the Part 5 anime, but I really don't want to see how they will cut the OPs. If you don't know, to save time for the difference between NA's 21 minute runtime compared to JP's 23 minute runtime, Toonami decided to cut the OPs short. And it's kinda choppy.

It IS lack of budget. The better known a property is the less they have to invest because it will sell on name alone and the original media is an institution all it's own which a bad anime won't harm. If it's smaller there's more riding on it's success, and a bad anime could impact the manga and popularity too It's like peaks and troughs; completely unknown series get cheap adaptations, middle of the way and some popular series get good adaptations and the really popular shit gets cheap adaptations again. It's not David's fault really, it's Warner's since they assign the budget and provide the money for David to make something with. The magazine has a tuft of Rohan's hair that can be visible on his arm. The panel you posted has it simply droop down. Rohan's pants also extend past the ass in the magazine, not with the panel. Finally, the magazine one looks a lot more clearer in general, the second one has not as much detail or just has a lot of dark lines that makes the more detailed parts on Rohan unnoticeable.

That's probably the case, but I do like to believe that Star Platinum's distinct power in Part 3 is because it's imbued with Jonathan's restless spirit. When Star Platinum acts subconsciously (like when its stopping the bullet or doing something to protect Jotaro), it becomes Jonathan himself for a brief moment.

I think this mostly because of that moment in the anime where DIO fails to smash Jotaro with the sign post, and the look of unbridled rage Star Platinum gives to DIO before smashing his fucking skull is too perfect.

How did DIO get into his personal coffin as seen at the beginning of part 3?

The end of part 1 shows it being used by Erina as a sort of lifeboat after the ship sank. Did the coffin sink after Erina was picked up, only for Dio to use it as shelter once he took Jonathan's body?

Nah wounds seems a little complex for his ability, it's only ever plundered physical traits like friction, eyesight or air and carried objects around, a wound is a physical object and could theoretically be put in a bubble but that wouldn't heal the wound and give it to someone else, it'd just be ripping out the damaged area and leaving a bigger one in it's wake.
