I'm not that guy, but internet speed is an issue regardless of which you choose if you're into more impulsive watching. In fact streaming works better in that regard because you only have to buffer a bit ahead and then watch while the rest of it downloads, although I think some torrent clients can do that too, though I'm not sure since it hasn't been a big enough issue for me to look into it.

I have to say, i'm lately thinking about becoming a stream pleb simply because of the playlist-like system they have where the next episode will just play when the other one ends.
I never realized how fuckin lazy i'm about just clicking on the next episode, then again, I could just find myself a player that does just that, but i'm too lazy to search it up. I've heard MPV has that function too, but never figured out if its true or not.

my internet is so shitty that downloading an episode would take almost 30 minutes where as for some reason i never have to wait for a video to buffer when i stream shit so I choose that over downloading. plus my friend has a crunchyroll account so I just leech off of him.

RSS/Taiga for seasonal is quicker and easier than streaming (it gets downloaded automatically and informs me when finished, way before you can watch on kissanime or whatever shit site and I do't have to cheeck whether it's available). Also, I can use debanding and change sub style if somebody pulls strange shit.
Granted, a few minutes to find the best release for old shit, but here it fucking matters, no censorship, good quality and good subs vs whatever happened to be uploaded to your streaming site.
