TOM actually has a really good points system. The amount you get is rather large and there are frequent bonuses. There is the issue that they expire though:

I have seen a lot of hate for TOM lately. It's understandable with all the TOM point restrictions as well as the free shipping increases, but even with all that I'm finding myself saving quite a bit on things!

I'm just posting this because if I was to just read the "buyfag" thread and not closely look at TOMs offers, I'd likely be losing a decent chunk of money.

The things about TOM that you need to be okay with:

1. Using TOM points effectively and being okay with calculating them into the actual cost
2. Being charged up front
3. Some things not being eligible for TOM points, I have not ran into this though
4. Having your orders be approximately $200-$225 to qualify for free shipping, although there are exceptions to this I'll get to below

So some examples I have:

The Saber Dress Vers. cost me $102 from TOM with free shipping. It's sold out on other sites and actually a decent amount more than TOM and then you also have to pay shipping on top of it! PS: there's one more left at TOM =)

Momohime was also cheapest at TOM! My order came to $107~ with free shipping!

I also picked up the Aniplex Saber for <$90~ on TOM with free shipping. This is currently being complained about on every other site I see, due to them not qualifying for promos and such. TOM doesn't care, and you still get promos on it!

I could go on.

Some other bonuses:

* To top everything else off here I had a $5-$10 promo on virtually every order I made on top of everything else. TOMs prices look scary, but they really arent!

* You can bundle preorders and released items together and they will ship separately and still qualify for free shipping! This can help save on duties if you are from Canada like me and trying to avoid that.

* My personal experiences with customer support have been the best at TOM. I've had no problems replacing figures there were issues with.

Long story short, I'm incredibly impressed with TOM. Fantastic work and has been a savior for me from Canada.

Fix that shit.
You need acetone, dragon skin fx-pro, thi-vex, silicone pigments, and zippo lighter fluid (naptha).
Expand the damaged areas slightly with a craft knife and clean the whole face thorougly with soapy water, rinse with water, then clean again thorougly with acetone and let dry.

Mix up a matching skin tone with the silicone pigments, do a couple test pieces to match opacity.
When you've matched the colour mix up your dragon skin with the thi-vex and apply it, feathering it into the face with a soft brush using the naptha.

Dragon skin FX-pro is a harder than EXdoll skin but it cures without tackiness and the pot life / cure time is more conducive to successful repairs. 1 part FX-pro to about 1.5 parts slacker produces something closer to the EXdoll skin softness but it's quite tacky.

You can try eco-flex but the long pot life means you'll have to constantly baby it, even with the thi-vex it will run a bit. Eco-flex 10/20 are similar in softness, the 10 cures tacky.

Do a test on the top of the head to test adhesion first, depending on the age of your doll it may not stick. If that is the case you can try to make a similar repair using sil-poxy, but it's going to have a very different feel.

It is a really nice nendo, every last thing is articulated. All the cannons swivel (including the AA guns), The catapults turn and the planes have their own flight stands, the rigging has 5 points of articulation on each side, and she has a bunch of extra arms for posing. My only real complaint is her hair gets in the way of the rigging limiting its range of movement.

Also the burg and hot dog accessories are great (though the hole doesn't seem to fit the pegs on my other bote nendo's hands well).
