at least before her character was consistent, i enjoyed her character as being manipulative and cruel. but now with this redemption garbage ishida is only making those who disliked her dislike her even more, and those who like her to like her less. he really is fucking up her character, i always liked to think she wanted to kill the ones who caused her situation for revenge by any means necessary and that she worked with kanou because their goals aligned. i thought kanou actually gave a fuck about the whole birdcage thing and had an ends justifies the means goal, but it turns out for whatever reason eto cares so much about all the ghouls on earth and kanou is crazy and has no real goal and just likes to torture, like i mean ik eto used to go on about the birdcage and speak like she cared about the world, but i thought it was to manipulate others for her revenge. her character used to be about hate, but now for some reason now her character is all caring about every ghoul and giving them hope even tho she slaughtered and tortured them for fun example kanae.

It of course tastes like Kuzen's so Eto Pours the rest on the ground infront of hina. then eto thanks her and then skips off hina sits down where she is, unable to say anything with tears in her eyes
