According to the info, he starts playing yugioh after the series begin, so he may be a bit of a Yuma (everything so far in Vrains has a bit of Zexal in it) so he may be inexperienced, or grows up quickly. Probably will learn the other summonings later.

Twin Star Exorcists has also been confirmed for 50 episodes. Episode 44 just finished airing last Wed. This will put episode 50 at March 29. The week after that is April 5 which is very likely to be VRAINS premier date.

In other words it is very likely Arc-V is ending at 147 episodes or 148 episodes but no more than that. So there's only 4-5 episodes at most following today's episode.

Arc-V's always had some degree of self-awareness. It's not surprising that even the show itself feels it's just stalling for time until the next series.

I'm worried that this is going to be the first finale duel in the franchise that doesn't have at least some rewatchability. Yuma VS Astral was one of the worst, but even it managed to have hype moments that left a memorable mark on the end of the series.
