From interviews, it seems like Kubo views them as friends already but I get what you mean. It felt more like he wanted Victor as a mentor and couldn't accept any positive feelings for Pig because he lost Victor to him as a mentor and also because of his own personal feelings of seeing fellow competitors as rivals and not friends at first. I do think at the end he started to transition towards Pig more even though he was still somewhat focused on Victor but the hug scene where he was more concerned about Pig retiring than he was about Victor coming back competitively and back by his side (which is what he originally wanted) seemed to make it pretty clear to me anyway that he had "gotten over" Victor and moved on to Pig if that makes sense.

Hard to say how this will be handled in Season 2 because it was never clarified what kind of relationship BaldFairy had in the first place. They seemed like siblings under Yakov but Victor also seemed to have some weird negative feelings towards him a few times that I could speculate on why but again, nothing is clear with them mutually.

We might see Fairy getting on BaldFat's case if he thinks they are slacking at training since he obviously would want them both to do their best but he might also have his own issues to worry about that might come into play as well. Too much we don't know right now, main thing being the overall narrative for Season 2.

Well in the early episodes we see that sliver of Victor trying to mentor Fairy, as well as them talking together on TV at their rink in St. Petersburg. We also know that Victor has a keen eye for what good skating looks like in addition to being a great skater himself, and that Fairy used to brush off practice because nobody in the junior bracket really challenged him. And then, of course, we have their little "promise" exchange from when Fairy was younger.

So if I had to extrapolate based on those things, Victor saw Fairy's potential and acted as a casual mentor. More rinkmate than teacher, but still a mentor all the same. Fairy on the other hand is shown to be slightly dismissive of Victor's critiques, but at the same time he clearly envisioned Victor playing a major role in his senior debut, which is why he so desperately wanted Victor to come back to Russia in the early portion of the show.

Fairy's character arc was about him learning to fight hard and have an amazing senior debut without Victor, and he managed to do that. He can likely put the anger/feelings of abandonment behind him now. He'll still be the same old Russian Punk, but going forward I imagine a lot of the edge will have been taken off.

I don't think we have a sample large enough to say that with certainty, really. We just know that he was uncomfortable with the Detroit girl and Sara. Both of those were what Yuuri considered nosy. It could have been their personalities that put him off, not him being uncomfortable with women.
