moonrunes was deciphered however now for the real challenge.
>googling the Voyinch Manuscript
It's an open question in cryptography, nobody has managed to decipher the damn thing. It'd be like googling a Millenium Question in mathematics.
That'd be really funny
>Breaking News: Retarded 300 pound weeaboo on the hacker called 4chan known for waifus and being the deepest darkest corner of the interwebs solves century old cryptography question using Google while watching children's cartoons
literally 10 seconds on the searchbar,
now tickle your neurones and get solving
like thats going to fucking happen in your lifetime
That's probably not the voynich manuscript text, just something typed in the font that emulates it. If we map each character to the key they must've pressed to get it, it could probably be deciphered easily.
Attention here, I've found Tirgger's phone number. Or, at least, one of them. It's in their recruit page on their website, here: http://www.st-trigger.co.jp/recruit/
The phone is: 03-5347-4144
Is there a way we can know if it works for fax (I honestly have no idea how it works)?
Thought they only accept calls from 10am to 4pm.
Interesting, this text definitely ISN'T just lifted from the VM. VM doesn't use periods and the letter frequency seems off, way too many H characters. >>152324044 is probably correct, this might be decipherable if someone wants to do the work. You'd have to transcribe all the visible text and do a letter frequency analysis.
I guess this isn't super anime-related, but here are a couple cool (but long) videos I found a while ago about one guy's theory on what the manuscript might be written in. Unlike most of these things, he actually presents some good evidence for his conclusion.
Spoiler for the people who don't want to watch the whole thing:
He thinks it might be an old Romani (Gypsy) dialect or Romani-related language written in a modified Syriac script.
It's a currently-airing popular series, and we just had a new episode yesterday. There is literally nothing wrong here.
are we really doing this
Pretty interesting, but I wonder why the text is considered untranslated? Tons of researchers have taken a crack at the text and made their own contributions. They have a good base for the alphabet, so why can't it just be read?
It's impossible to find out what the runes in the Voynich manuscript are because the script doesn't contain a key which would be necessary to decipher it and the runes don't seem to directly parallel any known alphabet. The only known languages that appear in it are several words and captions in Latin and German but written with roman letters.
If /a/ deciphered this it would be beyond belief. Things like Madoka are easy because those runes are invented allographs for existing writing systems.
I'm pretty sure that the manuscript is indecipherable with current knowledge. You'd need a key, assuming that it's actually a coherent language and not just made up runes placed semi-randomly. Even if it IS coherent, it could be an amalgam of existing linguistic constructs including ones that were poorly documented thus lost to time.
Unfortunately the author died like 650 years ago so we'll never find out for sure unless /a/ can somehow string together a series of miracles.
Here are all the scanned pages:

I wonder who owns the right to a centuries old non-american book
These threads really tickles the neurons, I'm impressed
/pol/ got Donald Trump elected. And /a/ managed to meme a studio into giving us Keit-ai.
It's not beyond the realm of possibility that maybe /x/ could translate the Voynich manuscript.
The guy in that video explains some of that. A lot of Voynich manuscript researchers use horrendously bad techniques, often just making things up to fit their own ideas.
If he's right and it is
romani/romani-related, that also requires a researcher to find someone who speaks romaniand has the interest and dedication to pursuing that lead.
Plus, academia has a lot of fucked up corruption and shit that really slows down a lot of research.
God, I wish I could memorize the symbols and sephirot
the symbols on the tree of light stand for planets and/or alchemical compounds.
I is pluto/plutonium?
II is neptune/neptunium?
III is saturn/lead
IV is jupiter/tin
V is mars/iron/male
VI is sun/gold/male
VII is venus/copper/female
VIII is mercury/mercury/androgyous
IX is moon/silver/female
the unnumbered one above the sun is uranus/uranium?
Do you think a miracle will happen if some autist manages to find out what that fairy picture in little witch academia says?
>lecture is about how the number 1 to 4 can represent the universe or some shit
>1/1/2000 on the board
What happened at Y2K?
>It's an open question in cryptography
Have we legitimately reached a conclusion that it's actually text with meaning attached to it? Last time I read about it there were some not implausible theories that it's essentially an elaborate, old hoax and that the "text" is actually just gibberish without any meaning whatsoever and not some unknown language.
Now this is /a/utism however that's an interesting read
Yes I know, I read about that too, as I remember it was one of the reasons the theories about it being a hoax were based on. I was wondering if there had been some new developments, I mean to consider it cryptography implies that it's something that was actually encrypted. If it's gibberish it's just gibberish, not cryptography.
first of all, those aren't elements of the tree of life, those are alchemical association placed on top of the tree of life. second, they didn't even know about uranus, neptune or pluto back then, these are modern connections due to the fact that uranus, neptune and pluto lacked alchemical connections. Those three radioactive metals were named with this in mind
jesus fucking christ. think before you speak
>Out of the several episodes completed so far, the 3rd episode is my favorite. Don't miss it!
>She made a bunch of young girls want to emulate witches and gave them a sense of wonder.
>Probably made countless childhoods with her magic show.

Pretty sure she just made them think that they're cool, fampai.
So many reaction images so little time

>Basically a magical female version of Bill Nye
>Basically a magical female version of Bill Nye
To be fair, Bill Nye became fucking cancerous within the past 6 years or so when he decided to get into politics. Ursula is GOAT though
Go talk about your waifus in a different thread anons
Bill is just a nice guy trying to save the world.
Akko "and there was that MOON..."
Sucy "Even if the MOON came falling,"
I'VE FOUND A HIDDEN MESSAGE IN THE SHOW
DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO DECIPHER IT?
I swear I spend more time cropping than actually watching the show.
Yes, and again, that doesn't mean the series will ONLY be about the cards. It means there will be 12 eps about the cards, that's it. I know 2 cour shows aren't as abundant as they used to, but this fits the format of shows in early 2000s where first half tend to be episodic monster of the week type, with 2nd half focusing on plot.
He's become very condescending in how sure he is that he's right. No REAL expert could possibly be pro-life. Clearly only idiots and dishonest people could ever have doubts about the climate change narrative. Even if you agree with his positions, leaving absolutely no room for disagreement is dickish.
Akko is always lewd
I knew a fellow masterrace would be able to decipher it.
WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!
You've gotta take a lot of that in context, because I imagine he's being a dick to someone who generally deserves being snubbed. That's how politics work in America. Everyone has a voice, and the dumber you are, the more likely you are to end up on the news.
Every time I hear about him, he's arguing with someone who's an actual lunatic. I think he got into a debate with that fuck who opened up a "creation museum" a few years back.
Yes she is.
No, I'm pulling these from youtube videos he did that were very reminiscent of those anti-Trump celebrity things that got put out. He just thinks anyone who disagrees with him on some issues is an idiot.
Maybe we could try to figure out some pattern for how the moons are configured for similar letters, then construct our own for the missing letters. Of course we'd have to include a key if we're going to send this to anyone.
D I A N A I S B E S T G I R L
WHAT DOES IT MEAN? Could Houdini still be alive?
I fixed the compilation, it is now in chronological order as they appear in episode 1, and I have added some things that were missing. Going down the second column I believe is a prediction for the entire series or at least the first cour.
Don't worry anon that part's been deciphered.
It's a several hundred page long read though.
>it's just a bunch of key sketches Trigger tossed in as visual flavour
Why do people find any significance in it? It's like saying a promo poster of LWA spoils that it will be about witches.
So if Akko is a genderflipped version of this fuccboi, will this mean we'll see Shiny Chariot have one final blaze of glory before stepping out of the limelight?
They should try to post with us instead of just lurking.
>google translated your post to nip and back
>'I am watching this thread two hours ago'
They will be very confused if they don't know the language.
We can predict what will happen in the next episode. Episode 2 had the butterflies, episode 3 is confirmed to be about a cursed broom, so we can predict that episode 4 will be about that Nightfall book. Episode 5 or 6 will be about the Mystery Man and/or the Ursula Minor card
I feel like an idiot. I'm a college graduate and I don't even know what half those symbols mean.
Download this >>152325140 and write all your essays with it
Why is Akko so shit? she ruined the entire episode.
>/a/ gets their fax
>some autists spam dick pics and cryptic messages and begging for PSG S2 and get the line shut down
Yeah great idea. Just tweet at their twitter account or something instead.
1+1 = 2
2000 = 2 + 0 + 0 + 0
2 + 0 + 0 + 0 + 0 = 2
2 + 2 = 4
4 = 2^2
4 + 2 + 2 = 8
1/1/2000 is New Year's Day
New Year's Day has 11 letters
11 has three syllables
8 + 3 = 11
2000 has three syllables
3 * 3 = 9

Witches did 9/11

>Jan. 1: New Year’s Day (Traditional). Observed in all countries that follow the Gregorian or Western/Christian calendar.
New Year's Day confirmed for Jewish witch propaganda to control the masses. WAKE UP SHEEPLE.
Tfw I'm comparing Trigger's main line with so many other company phones in order to find their fax that I've already memorized their phone, and yet I can fucking memorized my own.
>tfw your friend is masterbating next to you while your other friend is getting high on magic
Now good enough with moonrunes for that, if anyone else wants to try, go for it.
Though if they do post it, you shouldn't post it here. Just tell us you had it and we will give instructions. I mean, if they do have a fax and are hidding it, it's for a good fucking reason.
Seems that way this post they linked to
Says a late night anime that gets a rating of 3% would be treated like a monster and that 0.7-1.5% is average.
>hitting the ball park
Really enjoying the mental image of Yoh Yoshinari running around a baseball stadium with an aluminum bat, just smashing up all the equipment in front of a huge, horrified crowd.
>Is it really good idea to teach teens magic?
>Looks like she already mastered magic.
Sucy only attended school because she already mastered animal poisons and toxins, but wanted to branch out into plant based concoctions that her family was less familiar with. It's in her Bio.
2ch had the idea that Sucy is so pale for a Flip because she's undead. Would also explain her apparent immunity to poisons. She could also be a ghost, seeing as how she doesn't have legs half the time.
The guy that tweeted that works at TOHO think he is head of the animation division. He is listed in the executive producer credits in the opening along with president of Trigger Masahiko Otsuka and the guy from Netflix David Lee.
literally perfect, right /a/?
I was the one who made that initial transcription, Since this is the latin alphabet they lack some letters.
However, X should exist, and is in the later section, I just forgot to put it in.
>letting a barking mongrel into a respected school
This qt needs contacts ASAP
Also in his next tweet
He seems to basically be saying that without toys and games its difficult to put an original anime in early morning or evening slots but that after realising so many people watched it that gives them something to think about.
Using google translate though.
>that wasted background space
Are you two talking about my waifu you HECKING nerds?

Here's a quick test sample. I can try to make a font sometime tonight if y'all think it looks good.
That looks pretty much spot on, good job anon.
what happened to her? ;_;
I thought those chrysalises looked familiar
Exactly! Oh cool I can cast a light spell with my wand like some or I can pull out my phone and do that.
Glad I majored in magic studies.
Typical mage, stealing from the hardworking normal folk.
I bet that was your first instinct too.
ignore this >>152336170 gigantic faggot.
you're doing a great job anon
C U T E
Not really, but saying "it's just a joke" is about as good as saying "aliens wrote it". Someone put quite a bit of time and effort into writing something incredibly intricate.
My supported theory is that it's glossolalia. Stream of consciousness, whoever wrote it didn't write it using language but some kind of esoteric thought forms that only they could understand; probably while tripping on mushrooms or something.
People have noted that there is a frequency to certain "words", and that some words used in the botany section do not appear in the animal section, and vice versa; which strongly implies that there is some kind of language at work here.
Basically, you can't really prove that it is or isn't a joke without talking to the people who wrote it. There's a chance that the entire text is gibberish, but it doesn't do anyone any good to just dismiss it as a hoax.
Wasnt /co/ able to find some statue in the middle of a forest just with a single photo?
get good /a/
>Students from all around the world
>Everyone can understand each other just fine
Are they speaking some universal magic language?
It is fascinating that Shinning Chariot had written genuine magic principles into her playing card merchandise. But it makes sense that she would do that; she is a witch and would want the children to have some education to go with their fun and games.
Watched the vids, that theory is so fucking cool when he runs you through the data. I hope something comes out of it. Would anyone know, has an expert ever commented on that dude's work?
Guys, it's been a few hours and Trigger hasn't replied me and their Fax number is nowhere to be found. I'm actually starting to think that they don't have a fax line at all (since pretty much every other japanese company I saw would share theirs).
It's unfortunatte, but there is nothing to be done. So, let's send this pic to them via twitter or whatever other media you can.
If we can't fax it at least let's send the message.
Even if didn't manage to fax it to them, this time we decoded a made-up language from an anime through the power of autism and google, made usable fonts for it, found a new country and got noticed by our fellow nips. It sure was fun.
A love all of you f/a/gs, now go there and get Trigger to see this.
That part was 2cute4me. I really want to see the cat again.
>lore in a children's card game
Well if the figures are comparable to this data ANN uses and I don't know that they are even measured in the same way then that kind of figure is close to some of the lowest ranking highest viewership anime programs that are aired in morning and evening slots despite being on at midnight.
I hope she gets a cat familiar. It's the most common witch trope so if Akko want's to be a witch that would make sense for her to get a cat
>Another character for the banter with the girls and mild bullying/encouraging for Akko.
That would be nice.
>/pol/ got Donald Trump elected.
You are literally retarded. Hillary Clinton got Donald Trump elected, not a gaggle of meme-slinging retards from the containment board.
>Are they speaking some universal magic language?
Right now you're in website that is used by many people from many different countries. Yet, everyone can understand each other just fine.
Magic, isn't it?
Does this mean that we are all witches?
Some anon made it in some other thread. I believe it was done with google translate, and at least it sounded right when I put it in it (which is pretty much what they're going to do anyway). In any case, we don't need to send a very detailed letter in perfect latin. It's just a funny "Ha, you didn't expect it but we fucking did it" moment. The important thing is the actual meaning.
You sound pretty sure of yourself.
Why don't you try shit talking him and the Dolan? Go on, do it, fucker.
The fact that it isn't just not-Engrish, but an actual functionally-written introductory brochure was a pleasant surprise. It takes an above-average nip to put out even an Engrish mess, and even the average native English speaker would put out an understandable but blandly written text. It takes someone very skilled or experienced with similar writting to make such a descriptive and word-savvy text, and it's admirable that Trigger has gone to such lengths just to have something to slap onto a cartoon brochure appearing for 5 seconds.
To be fair though they probably just called on the localization staff who they worked with for the Kickstarter.
that and the fact that they created some made up runes with an actual functioning written system that can be decrypted by someone shows the dedication they put in their work
both things are completly unnecesary to the story but add tons to the worldbuilding and lore of the world they're creating
Apparently Tattun is the one who did the pamphlet
The difference is that the Voynich Manuscript has existed for hundreds of years and now ones been able to decipher it.
The power of /a/utism is strong, but it's not capable of actual miracles.
Producer-chan had a very big day yesterday and needs his nappies.
