Its simple. Sayuri is good singer, but not all songs are masterpieces neither use of her songs always fitting to the show.

Rampo Kitan ED was great. Erased was worse. This on is just trash. The way media houses push some performers to specific type of shows just smells generic and forced - like AliProject or Nano.Rape plague. Same problem with youjo Senki, while the band did good job on Re:Zero OP2 for example.

It is a curse of "one hit wonder" performers. Somewhere someday they make a good OP/ED for specific anime, and then producers come and tell we want Song X you performed for our new anime, but rearranged, but so it would be clear its song X.

It is not only uncreative, since forces performens in very strict limits, but also boring for watches after a while.

Plus the real reason same performers are used is not because they are wanted, but because of name recognition Lantis and Pony Canyon push specific trends/labels.

You can litterally see over time as performers who are pushing are changing, and as sometimes same ones get almost dozens of jobs just to be completely dropped later.

I've always felt the story was kind of a metaphore for lesbian relationships if not straight out one. I'm a little behind of release, so maybe I'm missing something.

Honestly it's about my least favorite series by that author, but I guess I'm watching it because of the studio.

The first episode was great. The girls are all cute and the interaction between the vampire girl and her teacher was quite nice too. I liked how he treated her like an adult would treat a teenager. Because the execution is better than others. There have only been two episodes and already many of the non moe slice of life execution elements are a cut above a lot of other shows. The Vampire character most obviously is far from mediocre all around. The animation is reasonably consistent which is apparently quite the achievement these days. The OP and ED are really good. I'm not saying it's AOTS or even great tier worthy. It's still deserving of higher praise than Urara.
