Haha holy crap I just realized Swordsluts will be up against Ensemble Stars in the summer. The battle between the two most profitable female oriented mobages is gonna be interesting to see unfold.
Imagine all the secondaries trying to keep up with the sheer amount of boys being introduced in both series.
Also does the Enstars anime even have a studio announced? A quick search about it showed that there's literally no info about it yet other than it's going to happen.
Fuck this can't I just have a season without swords competing against anything?
>Also does the Enstars anime even have a studio announced?
Nope, no info on that as far as I know. I think they pretty much only disclosed that the female MC would be featured.
Fall was pretty much supposed to be Swordsluts' season but everyone got blindsided by YoI.
Based on their appearance who looks the strongest?
Mugi >>>power gap>>> Yui > Mio > Ritsu > Azusa
Mugi is obviously the strongest but just look at that expression and confident pose. She could totally beat me up. Mio has that Tuxedo Mask thing going on so she's up higher than usual. Ritsu what the hell. She doesn't even look like herself here.
That Mach looks exactly like the one in show.
On a side note, where are the Ex-Aid cosplays?
That is such a delusional post. Do you think we like you guys? Do you think we like your studio?
Comiket would serve as a great setting for a gangrape doujin.
If my favorite manga was announced to get an anime adaptation by Kyoani I don't know if I'd rejoice because of the guaranteed god tier animation or wallow in despair because of the guaranteed shit writting desu.
I would unironically wear that shirt
Any pics of the cloud?
Any sightings of jii-san?
No kidding start like that Youjo Senki poster.
But i still wonder how would Otaku react when they going to C91 and see the train station is full of this poster.
Toyo is fine and all but where is Yoichi?
Today was mostly to get a feel for the site and see how cold it would be in the morning. I am pretty happy that I got everything on my list for the second day.
Did the other male idols anime series other than Utapri sell decently? The company probably sees the anime as a cute side project since Enstars is literally printing money - fans are retarded and spend shitload of yen for ranking.
I got a few more Sanji/Nami doujin than I planned but after the last chapter I was really in the mood to see Sanji get a bit of happiness. I would start scanning things tonight, but I plan on staying at a web cafe close to Big Site so I can be there at 0430 to be first in line for the last day. It seems you aren't allowed to camp out by the site anymore so I figure this is the best work around.
Oh, alright. Guess I'll still pick up pic related to scan, then.
Can you tell me if SweetNess 3 has any bonus pages or anything. Because I'm pretty sure I've scanned everything in it already.
From what I can tell it has like 5 new pages.
That is a compilation book. Aside from the last 10 or so pages everything in it is from an older book. As a rule Compilation books go to the back of the line for scan order due to being long and their content being a bit redundant
It's not common that such books get scanned. If the series is popular like Madoka you can safely expect it to pop up somewhere, but for an average series you can only pray it has a very enthusiastic scanlator that would buy/order those.
This is not my Jannu.
What the fuck is this? Peoplу stealing wallets on Comiket and posting their loot in twitter?
Fuck everything, one of my top priority doujinshi (140-page Mutsuki-class lewds anthology) already sold out on MB, and it was an MB exclusive. I knew I should have pulled the trigger sooner, but since they forcibly split your order up by release date I was waiting for enough to move into the "already released" group to get free shipping on one section at least
hopefully someone with a decent scanner picks up this bad boy
The whole opening procession to the West hall felt very North Korean.
I like that Lips picture a lot.
Those folks are shady as fuck to be quite honest. They literally claim on their site that they work with the artists whose works they localize so they can provide us with the actual uncensored (as opposed to decensored) art from the original source material (as opposed to scans), yet when someone asks them if they're gonna release Mucha's color special, they say no because it was a limited edition print and they'd have trouble getting their hands on it.
Now I'm not condemning them for what they do; I'm just acknowledging that their hands are no more cleaner than any other localization pirates out there.
>Got excited and ordered 26 doujin off of mandarake
>My dick when
And only $160 before shipping!
>Did the other male idols anime series other than Utapri sell decently?
B-Project back in summer did pretty well (16,811k for its first volume), but honestly Enstars isn't at all about cashing in on the Seiyuus seeing as most of the cast are literally who.
>spend shitload of yen for ranking.
Yes, fujos are insane.
Color Code Breakdown:
Purple: Artists that will have long lines and will sell out first
Orange: Artists I have taken commissions to scan.
Green: Artists I value highly
Yellow: Artists I have mild interest in
Red: Artists that are hard maybes
Like I said I play on posting up at a web cafe close by so I can be one of the first in line.
For the Summer Comiket I thought I was smart getting the first train to Tokyo to get ahead on the line. I got to Big site at 0615 and I still didn't get in until almost 1100
I managed to get most of what I wanted but not all of it. This time around I plan to brave the elements so I can be one of the first inside.
>>Katsugeki/Touken Ranbu for July 2017
Did this shit really get a sequel/another project?
>the two most profitable female oriented mobages
DMM doesn't earn much from Touken Ranbu (it's a shitty game), it's the merch sales that matter. Enstars (still a shitty game but more rewarding) players, on the other hand, blow a shit ton of money on events.
So it's the battle of a much larger fanbase versus a more dedicated fanbase.
>I got to Big site at 0615 and I still didn't get in until almost 1100
So what time would you get in if you arrived at the time is actually starts?
>I managed to get most of what I wanted but not all of it.
Did you line up for anything with a long line?
All the purple ones on the other walls are there because those artist normally have lines that go outside. When I was there in the Summer I stood in line for 20 minutes just to get the Raita books.
Look man I am already a gaijin I think it is best I don't push my luck. I already plan to be stalking around the site around 0330. So long as I can get in at 1000 when they open and maybe get to a few of the more popular artist before the lines get big I will be happy.
The majority of comiket attendees probably live in Tokyo or satellite cities; you don't really have the option of not being in a sea of people every time you go outside there. You either get used to it or become hikikomori
It is kinda fun. It is one of the few time Japanese people stop caring about group harmony and let their inner asshole show. I remember one time at a summer Comiket a Japanese guy tried to give me the hard shoulder to get me out his way. I was taken back for a second since that was pretty rude for a Japanese person, but I recovered quickly and I let him see how we give the hard shoulder in South Philly.
Long Rider bike design price cost of 1 million yen.
And my day 2. Tomorrow's gonna be hell for first trains
Doujin music is my priority but I still need to line up early because of the porn. And my porn's mostly mixed stuff from different series. It's just that porn sells out faster than music.
Well, that looks like a high-tier bike and those are pricey
All these anons posting photos here from comiket.
I was there and I didn't see a single non-asian face.
I'm assuming you are all asians.
Or you are all that one black guy I saw samefagging on this thread.
For anyone who hits it up tmrw to grab some porn, can you snap a pick of some of the artists?
Personally I'd like a shot of ShindoL so I can put a face to all those Emergence threads that get brought up atleast once a week.
This is Larry "ShindoL" Shindo.
My loot from today. Came really late, but really enjoyed looking at the lesser known circles. Tomorrow will be hell.
I also went to.the big saw. No cute jpsies, was very disappointed.
>Be English teacher because there are no other jobs for white people ayy lmao
>Be a weeb neckbeard to boot that faps to 2d porn
>Go to comiket with a facemask and try to blend in like a ninja-san
>Go around all the booths buying delicious 2d porn like a weeb neckbeard
>Suddenly hear "Hey Sensei what's up! You buying loli porn?"
And that's the story of how an /a/non got jailed and exiled from Japan.
Yeah, you're right. I'm sure the only actual solution left for gaijin is to attend in full cosplay instead - one with a full facial mask or helmet ideally. No way of being outed as a cracker then.
or you could just you know not give a fuck
Stupid question, how do people decide what artists / circles they want shit from outside of the really popular ones? I've had a look at the book before and don't really feel like the content there is enough to make a decision on what to go check out.
People always lose their wallets at comiket so these anons are safekeeping the wallets for their owners.
Just friendly tweets to remind owners to contact them.
How could pickpockets, something I only see on television, be so close to me?
Why would I need it after I've scanned it.
No, because scanning something correctly involves taking it apart. And no one is going to want to buy a doujin that's been ripped apart.
Not him, but I kind of doubt it.
Nobody wants to buy something if it's already scanned, unless they're REALLY interested in collecting for that author.
I'm just a casual scanner, I imagine people who are hardcore into scanning or do scanlation work for manga groups would have their space filled with old shit if they kept all of it.
>taking it apart
Even if you just broke the spine, it's still ruined.
Cutting them is the way to go. Disassembling is fine too, but that's just a mess I'm not willing to put up with.
Kadokawa is really pushing Youjo Senki. So does this mean it really is THAT good? You don't overhype something that you don't think will sell.
I read the synopsis, it looks like a salaryman in japan goes to another world and reborn as a cute little girl trying to become Hitler?
I didn't see any gaijin but even if I did I would avoid you. Not because you are black but because I feel like I don't want to see other fellow gaijins in nipponland. It's just that we both know it's awkward.
You'd obviously be ostracised to fuck if you pulled that anywhere in the West, and there was even a case a while back of people getting in trouble for it in Korea too.
It's cool to see how lax Japan is about these sort of things.
The only lewd nip artist I've ever seen who actually looked the party of the greasy otaku you might expect, is Monster Musume's Okayado. Every other artist I've seen was pretty normal looking. Or even cute or handsome.
And then I was thrown for a total loop when I saw two middle aged women manning the Black Dog stand...
Really the ones with monsters are vastly outnumbered by the ones with just being molested and fucked by middle aged men.
And given that they're written by middle-aged women, that says... something.
But yes, it is funny.
I agree. Definitely quite a few qts from today.
I was surprised at how normal some of the female attendees were. One moment they are carrying stacks of doujins, next thing they turn into salarywomen on the subway.
I'd rather buy myself a nice autobaiku.
Why so? This seems plot heavy, so the design wouldn't matter much as long as the plot is good and engaging.
>flipfags look Okinawan
Yeah, that seems to be the case. I have a friend who goes to shit like this because he's a otaku who lives in Japan, and he's a filipino. Basically, he got gud in speaking Japanese and now people mistake him for being Okinawan, because he looked the part.
At least he isn't a baka gaijin in a Nip's eyes, makes things less awkward.
I think that's just Japanese mannerisms in general.
Comiket is a hellish mosh-pit. A little world all its own. But once they're back on that train, they're back to conforming to society in general.
You'd think they would be the majority of the time though, given the whole idea of doujinshi is self-publishing, yeah?
Either way though, there's still something deeply amusing about middle aged women selling comic books about middle aged men seducing and ravaging teenage girls, even if they didn't write and draw them.
Nothing Bakuon!!-related this comiket?
>flipfag who goes to Comiket
I saw a couple of them a while ago. The Nips were laughing at them in secret, absolutely disgusting.
Good thing I'm white and taller than them. Filipinos are manlets
GOLD RUSH IS ALIVE?! Holy shit.
I miss the days of his Gundam doujins.
>Long lines and will sell out first
Really? When I went to C90, their stand was like, empty. Total ghost town.
Cease this bickering at once. Gaijins need to stick together, you know? Both SEAfags and whites.
If I was in Comiket I would talk to you guys, it would be fun. I'm a socially awkward fucker though, but no matter, we all are anyways.
did they guys at comiket ever tried to meet up? Seems like the perfect event for it
The thumbnail made me expect pumpkins. I'm a little disappointed.
The only confirmed 4chan meetups that have happened on 4chan are only /jp/ and /pol/ who have bothered to do meetups in Japan before.
No other 4chan board that I am aware of has posted Japanese meetups besides /jp/ and /pol/.
Not even /int/ has done a 4chan meetup.
There was some Kuroneko fan that was an English teacher and had a blog and he ended up being fired because he attentionwhored over the fact he bought some loli doujins from Comiket on his blog.
I completely forgot the blog's name though.
All I know is that he made a video or something where he burned or melted Kirino anime figures I think.
And he may have used something sharp to stab his computer monitor when Kirino appeared on the screen.
Also my preeminent thought reading this was...
"Yokohama was nice". Seriously, so much nicer than Tokyo. Though Tokyo's verticality is something to be marveled at.
I'm a leaf. I went to Japan.
I spent some $6000 and got a nasty sunburn from sleeping in a hottub.
9/10 trip, would go again.
And this time wear fucking sunscreen.
>Those folks are shady as fuck to be quite honest.
No different from j-list that has its employees that make sell bootlegs thru its website. Profits and ethics don't mix.
Don't know why he's crying. When I was in Japan you could fuck a new girl every week using dating apps. Asians love foreigner dick and Japanese people are sexually repressed as fuck so getting a girl is easy
>being emo about some random girl he latched onto and got cucked by
>suddenly everything is shit fuck the world
He's just in that late teens/earlytwennies phase. Will grow out of it.
This faggot was (maybe still is) so insufferable on VNDB.
He would always latch onto some famous Japanese-only VN and act so smung about being able to read it (or so he claims), yet you could feel his insecurity and the need to get validated by others.
Now look what happens when he tries the same with real girls in Japan.
>An ugly, overweight, self-deprecating and ill-confident LEAF blames others for his problems - again
Honestly. It doesn't matter where you are in the world. If you're good looking and care about your appearance, or at the very least charming with a good personality - you will find sloots to fuck and get by perfectly fine.
This LEAF honestly has nobody to blame but himself for his loneliness. What a fucking fag.
>I hate Japan because girls don't like me
Holy shit, this is amazing. I thought he couldn't get worse, but he did it anyway. That last line is fucking comedy gold.
Give him a freshly glued Azusa figure.
If he's the guy in the photo at the top of the post, he doesn't look too bad.
If he shaved and straightened up a bit he'd probably do fine.
Also come to think of it, I knew a guy named Sheldon in high school. Looks nothing like him though.
And also his waifu was Lightning, so...
On the one hand, I get it. I get wanting to form bonds with people, and have meaningful interactions with them. And I can see how the general flow of Nip Society might be counter-intuitive to that.
But on the other hand, >>151600770 raises a very valid point, especially when considering some of the stories that other anons are sharing.
He might also have a better time if he learned to appreciate the little, day to day communications and interactions with people, rather than seeking some profound connection.
You can always find time. People are always busy, esp. salarymen, but you can still get to know them. Obviously you have a harder time if you're starting from scratch and have no direct contact (not the same workplace or co-renting an apartment or dorm, etc.) but it isn't disproportionately difficult in Japan since see EVERYONE is at that disadvantage, nobody has time to talk and play, so you still have proportionally the same time. In the end he basically just needs to suck it up.
I went on a bunch of /p/ meetups and even organized one in berlin once. Also meet up with a bunch of anon's in japan and stayed for 3 week with one of them. Here is a pic of the 2013 scotland camping trip. Not a single bad experience with meeting anon's so far, go for it boys
Me > (>>151600770 and also >>151600591
I previously spent a year in Tokyo, similar as he seems to be doing now.
But I liked myself before coming to Japan, I prefered to be alone most of the time, I was fully happy with those small daily interactions you mention, you know just small talk with the people in my class etc. I wondered if I'll be able to change in Japan, but I couldn't and really soon I learned that I don't even want to.
Japan is really great for this lifestyle, but Komeiji doesn't seem to be able to enjoy it and hates being thrown into it.
His problem is centred about his dislike for himself (this is the third time I'm saying this), if he liked himself, he would give no fucks about some Japanese girls not having time to talk to him.
