Why is Pudding such a
THE SANAMI TRAIN IS NOT SLOWING DOWN!!
J-JUST YOU WAIT GUYS
PUDDING IS JUST PRETENDING
SHE'LL BE THE HERO OF THE ARC
This shipfaggots invasion is really getting out of hand.
Even reporting them doesn't work anymore, like it did a year ago or more.
Both Naruto and Bleach ending really did a number to these threads.
>D: Doesn't anyone on Luffy's crew fall in love? Will there never be a tale of on-board romance? (Sanji is an exception in this case) I'm just wondering.
>O: OF COURSE THEY'RE IN LOVE... WITH ADVENTURE! (← good one)
>Won't they have seksu with each other? YEAH... NO!
It's not that hard, retard. Work on your readong comprehension.
Jinbe will surely have the right motivation speech for him. In fact, he can use his last one and just change the name.
>Th-They'll kiss soon! You'll see!
>Th-They'll kiss soon! You'll see!
One Piece is all about the older generation passing the torch to the younger generation, or else just passing on pointlessly while the younger generation step into their place. The strawhat Luffy wears is a constant reminder of that. So is the repeated idea of "Inherited Will". Luffy is basically trying to do what Roger already did. To Decode the poneglyphs is to read a message from your ancestors.
The cast can basically be divided into the old guard and the newer generation. Whitebeard, Rayleigh and Sengoku as opposed to Ace, Zoro and Coby. Frequently the older ones pass things onto the younger ones. Consider Nami and her love of oranges because of Bellemere, Sanji being mentored as a chef by Zeff, Chopper and Hiruruk, Robin and her mother being archaeologists, Franky and Tom, etc.
Jinbe is firmly in the old generation. He's doesn't belong in the SHs. He's a passer-onner, not a receiver. He's Whitebeard, not Blackbeard, Shanks not Luffy, Zeff not Sanji, Bellemere not Nami. Someone will join in his stead, perhaps someone he's already passed something onto in some form or another. Maybe another practicioner of Fishman Karate
You think this shit can be called a "match"?
He gets points for courage but that's it.
Coby has a mountain to climb to ever face Luffy as an equal.
>noone can steal my BellamyxConis ship
coby loses but manages to block a few blows and land a few hits, luffy commends his growth
coby fights toe to toe with luffy. perfect stalemate. coby is clearly conflicted with stopping him, luffy shocked, retreats to gather himself
luffy wins by a slim margin/off mistake but it will never be known if coby let him win or not
>The whole argument started with you shipping SaNa.
It didn't, though I like it. It started with me telling you that you're dumb for thinking that there's no way there will be romance in OP.
>Said the one who doesn't understand basic implications.
You're trying to read between the lines and you'r not doing an especially convincing job
>there's no way there will be romance in OP.
>it's already on sail
>(Sanji is an exception in this case)
>(Sanji is an exception in this case)
>he can marry anyone in crew
Brook staring down a Yonkou like she ain't shit.
Nice to see him finally get some screen time.
I could see Coby being there, but definitely don't see him being in Luffy's way (at least not throughout the whole thing)
Not really much of a challenge, but Coby has been improving for 2 years under Grandpa Garp. He also unlocked his CoO Haki during the war so a rematch could be interesting.
When Luffy and Coby met after Ennies Lobby, it was pretty hype when he just went all "SHAVE" on Luffy. He seems to be a prodigy that is pretty quick at learning.
I don't know about shipping but I feel like Sanji and Nami will hug this arc.
Just have Robin hold him in between those giant melon fruits of hers and he'll snap right out of it.
>Brook knew her as a little girl or a new rookie pirate
Luffy doesn't run from fights where he's evenly matched. It took Aokiji for him to retreat once, and that was only by being so overwhelmed he had to be carried away by his crew members.
Now they just need to rescue Caesar.
I mean 9 times out of 10 leaving Caesar to his own devices means some sort've massive chemical weapon being developed.
I expect that since he can't finish the gigantification thing he's just going to try to blow everything up.
Shit is going to be pandemonium pretty soon.
I totally forgot ceaser was even there...
He'll do something that allows the straw hats to escape after the wedding, but only if they take him with them
Ceaser will be the deus ex machina here
It's not so much about age as it is about place in the generational tree in terms of passing things on. Roger was relatively young when he died but he's inspired hundreds of people, passed on the hat to Shanks who passed it onto Luffy.
Brook carries the wishes of his crew with him, he's become the sole survivor that has to meet Laboon again. He's not really passing anything on nor do his actions represent "the time before". He's only really starting to live his life now (Soul KIng and all that). I do agree he's the worst fit for that idea, though.
>before leave Sanji pick up flowers and gently put them against the wall
Please, Oda, stahp.
Why is Brook so fucking based this arc? Was the Year of Brook meme not a meme after all?
It's nice to see the skeleton have some great moments like this
And Kuina is basically the main inspiration behind Zoro but she died as a child. Another example of age not mattering as much as it is who inspired the current generation of people going around. I mean, compare Brook as we know him to, say, an undead version of Rayleigh being in the SHs. It would totally fuck up the dynamic and the fact these are the new kids following in older footsteps (which somehow does still work for Brook).
Well, where the denying is? The discussion started not where you thought it did and you're still trying to awkwardly read between the lines. You're like a poster boy for Dunning–Kruger effect
I know it goes against his principals, but good god what I would give to see him make an exception and beat her face to a burning pulp.
A really powerful drawing, you can really feel his pain.
Remind me of Ace face before he dies...
Great Chapter, very happy to see Jinbei is unharmed (i guess he had to pay in lifetime though)
After this arc Brook has gotten enough screentime to finally cementify him as a full fledged member of the crew, it took years, but our faith in the best skelly was rewarded.
>It won't be disgraceful to hit a girl, if i turn you into a guy first
Doesn't Jinbe carry the will of Fisher Tiger? Where Tiger is the passer-oner and Jinbe the receiver? He showed as it at FI when he did what Tiger couldn't and shared his blood with Luffy
>Are you talking about Pururin?
>I am protector of the innocent, I am the light in the darkness, I am truth
>I have moved beyond binary gender definitions
>Yes, I have gone SJW
It doesn't seem as direct. How does he carry that will any more than any other (good) Fishman? His general actions seem more to do with helping out Luffy in a similar father figure kind of way that Shanks has, or that WB had for Ace.
But what do you want me to proof? Reading comprehension? How would that go, would I have to explain the concept to you? Doesn't help that several other anons saw it like me as well. Because, well, they can read properly.
Jinbe will not die, you fags. He's going to join the crew and you'll like it.
then what will does Franky carry? Iceburg's has inherited Tom's will for the well being of the city much better.
I like your reasoning, but for some characters to be excluded (or included) it's a bit of a stretch.
I can't wait to make memes about your denial tears either.
>Anon is wrong about Pudding [√]
>Anon is wrong about Jinbe [ ]
Screencap and tick the box yourself in a couple of months or so.
Good moment, I want this for Sanji next chapter. Have him eating the bento lunch while thinking on all his crewmates.
>No more crying
>No more whining
>Tea Party let's do this
Kek, imagine he eats a DF. What would be a good not asspull soft counter to rubber? All I can think of is low temperature but blue guy has it. Could it be Aokiji dies=> Coby gets his fruit?
No shitty minks or dumb sluts will jon.
Franky carries Tom's will as a shipwright, Iceburg carries it as a public servant.
Sabo carries Ace's will in the form of the Flame Flame Fruit, and Luffy carries it by treating his crew like family, much like how Ace sought a family his whole life.
Multiple people can inherit someone's will. It just means carrying on someone's dreams -- in that way, the Fisher Tiger -> Jinbe connection makes a lot of sense.
>implying Nami would let that happen
She will BTFO pudding soon
I want it to be Carrot, but I won't be surprised if it'll be Jinbei or Ceasar. Pedro lacks personality, and Purin would require some intense plot gymnatics to push her into thhe crew
>mfw Brook already has the rubbing safely inside of his skull
yea its not just a joke about his name..
on reddit every thread has someone making a Buddy D clown strongest pirate ever XD XDXD joke..
Not as bad as the dumbass shipping here but its still dumb as hell
Multiple people can carry the will or receive motivation and ideas from the same person, like with Roger. Or more similarly to Tom, Franky and Iceburg, you have Bellemere and her two daughters.
And yeah, you get crossovers between gens in someways. It's more of an artistic thing than a maths equation. For example, Buggy is of this generation very much but he obviously served with Roger and on a level with Shanks at the time, the latter being a previous gen guy. Franky obviously inherited the shipwright thing from Tom. Tom made Roger's ship, Franky has made Luffy's. When Luffy becomes Pirate King, Franky will be in the same boat (kek) as Tom.
On a slightly different note, I guess you could think about it as where on their character arc are they? Brook might be old as shit but he's only just starting as a person. Same as Buggy, he was with Roger but was a failure for the most part so his personal journey started with Luffy's, really. Coby could've been 78 when he met Luffy and it wouldn't matter, it's his journey that's moving alongside Luffy's that matters.
All just stuff to bear in mind. You don't have to agree 100% but just think of it now and again as you read through.
>Wano arc is resolved by Brook giving Kaido a private concert.
The only faggot in denial here is you.
>Kaido goes full Bartolomeo on Brook and stops being a pirate to finally realize his dream, learning how to play the violin
>Everyone is a lying, two-faced psychopath - the arc
if anything, you convinced me even more on why Jinbei would be a good strawhat, as his companions said, it's time he starts living his life thinking a bit about himself too.
But it's a nice thematic I never thought of
>that moment Pudding made Nami consider marriage
>tfw you will never get to rub ointment all over Jinbe's big, round, blue, jiggly belly
Could be that Capone had to give up some of his lifespan before joining the crew and it ended up in the slime. But that would be assuming that the soul system works similarly to the shadow one.
Well it's not the first time. Remember the fine folks of Galley-La also being assassins? And Blueno doubling as a barman? And the shock when Sogeking revealed himself to actually be Usopp? Man, even Franky started that arc in disguise. And Merry started out by pretending to still be a working ship that wasn't about to fall apart and die.
>Oda's wife is cheating on him
>This arc is actually Oda venting personal drama
No one is considering Pudding's feelings.
>forced to marry an okama white knight against her will.
>the dude is okay with it but she's not
>forced to pretend to be happy with it
Really her behavior now is her only way out.
That reminds me, how did Capone go from this situation to joining Big Moms crew?
I honestly don't know what to think about One Piece anymore.
I did not realise that I would get this worked up about it and I think that’s because when you’re watching the series, there are little moments of sexism that you can ignore. But when you actually research it and think about all the moments that have made you feel uncomfortable, it becomes overwhelmingly clear that One Piece is sexist.
It’s gotten to the point where I’m embarrassed to tell my friends that I watch One Piece, because I know that they’re going to google it to check it out and they’re just going to see (mostly) boobs. I would never buy a figurine of a female character in One Piece because I wouldn’t even be able to look at it. I’m not saying that large boobs don’t exist in real life, but it’s a problem because it’s gotten to the point where every female character has giant boobs. There is barely any diversity between them. And to be honest this isn’t the type of anime I signed up for. The first time I remember feeling uncomfortable was in the Alabasta arc and seeing Miss Doublefinger's outfit. Who would dress like that? I could just write it off to her being a crazy villain. But after that moment the boobs grew bigger in every arc, until after the timeskip when in the manga you couldn’t even tell which female character was speaking because they all looked the same.
Overall I really love One Piece but it is important to acknowledge the flaws in the things you love. It needs to be known that the treatment of female characters in One Piece is unacceptable. While it is true that females can be sexy, they can have huge boobs and they might not always be physically strong, the lack of diversity in One Piece is problematic and encourages the view that women should be objectified. There are many types of women in the world and the creativity in the story of One Piece proves that the storylines and character designs of female characters are just not good enough.
I figure that's just some weird island.
The joining part was explained by Brulee or Cracker I think.
Capone invaded Mam's territory, lost a fight, then joined rather than die.
Of course he's planning to betray her and probably take her shit.
I'm quite interested to see what he's up to actually.
Are you telling me that Purin will become the new main character of the series?
>Pudding has a camera theme where she takes gilm out of peoples' heads and edits it
>has a weird amount of eyes
Pekoms seemed to be on to his shit as well, accusing him of 'underestimating mama'
There's so many potential factions vying for a backstab at the wedding, shits gonna be a wild ride.
>accusing him of 'underestimating mama'
Yeah I've no idea what he meant by that.
How do you underestimate a yonkou?
The timing of this SH stuff seems to have worked pretty well for Capone so far too.
Pudding gets knocked out, effects of her fruit wear off, turns out she was using it on the masses like Dressrosa, but within all of Big Mom's protected territories, chaos ensues allowing the Straw Hats to escape with Big Mom exceedingly pissed off at them, but unable to act because of tension now aimed at her from everyone in the New World from something horrible she did and edited the memories of.
>Yamero, Spee D. Reader-kun!
I think we only saw the very end of their conversation, Capone likely pulled a Pudding and fully divulged his plans to pull of a coup, possibly with the help of Pudding, other sons/daughters, maybe even one of the Vinsmokes.
Pekoms knows they're all making a huge mistake of course. These guys have only ever seen Big Moms tantrums, they think that's the extent of her rage. Mama is going to get backed into a corner and go truly berserk and it's gonna be wonderful.
Man the way Bege talks sounds really familiar. Is he parodying/referencing anyone in particular here? Or is it just stereotypical mobster sound?
Kind of sounds like Tarantino if you think about it, sounds like a Samuel Jackson line.
>Sanji hits a woman
>They force Pudding to rewrite BM's memories so she's an ally and they have a Den Den Mushi where they can ask her to change the weather for them
>Nami kisses Sanji to power him up
>Jinbe is thinly sliced with lemon juice and a side of rice and salad
>Carrot wets herself in public
>We see the aftermath of that attack on the Revolutionary base and Dragon is about to be killed by BB but the Marines turn up and chase off BB and capture Dragon
>Is he parodying/referencing anyone in particular here?
I am concerned that Jinbe showed up at a very convenient time, and the expression on his face and the excuse he gave ("I heard you had been captured") seems kind of... I dunno, off.
Have you seen The Godfather, Goodfellas or any mobster/heist movie? Bege is a play on the Italian mobster stereotype. This is how they're portrayed in those films. I don't think it's anything specific, in those movies they also marvel at their own ability to be clever on occasion.
>Or is it just stereotypical mobster sound?
>I think Bropper and Carrot are gonna find Brook and help him getaway with the ponegylph,
>Sanjis gonna go full Mr Prince mode and play along with the wedding until its go time where he reveals some plan that exposes Puddins plan to the Vinsmokes
>Luffy and co crash the party and Sanji gets his "I want to live!" moment
>Ensuing chaos with Vinsmokes vs Big Moms family until someones blood gets on the wedding cake, at which point Big Mom goes absolutely insane and all hell breaks loose
>Luffy and co reunite with Brook and co and attempt to get away (Luffy probably tries to calm Big Mom down himself
>Big Mom steps on the gift box with the bomb, causing it to explode, injuring her long enough for the crew to escape
He pretty much have one foot inside
50% chances, but we need to see more of her.
she is pretty much the new Germa manager, so no, maybe on the big fleet of luffy
Especially that BM would do whatever she did and then him freely roam around. Though that said, maybe she just expected him to limp off with his tail between his legs. I think it's more that Jinbe is very honorable and he just wanted to cut official ties with BM, knowing it would cost him dearly, then he'd use what little life he had left to help Luffy escape, probably with the Poneglyphs because he wants to support him becoming PK. Then he dies, having fulfilled his personal mission of helping Luffy and not letting Ace's bro die.
If anyone's joining I prefer it to be Carrot, we need another girl and she fits really well with the rest of the crew
Jimbes a bro but he's part of the older generation so I'm not sure he'll fit in
Though having a serious character like him will be great for reactions when Luffy, Usopp and Chopper and Franky do something outrageous
>Pudding uses Heaven's Door
Oda is a Hack confirmed.
What are the odds for Big Mom dying and Capone becoming the next Yonko?
Not everything is a JoJo reference my friend.
If this is true, I was wrong.
Jinbe will appear like he will certainly die, but Luffy will KO a yonko to give him his lifespan back.
Everyone here knows if KOing Big Mom frees souls and would save Pedro and Jinbe, Luffy WILL stomp the bitch into the ground.
>Memory Removal: By removing pages, Rohan causes his target to lose any memories detailed there, along with a proportionate quantity of body mass. Should Rohan receive a substantial amount of physical damage or is knocked near unconscious, the ripped pages will automatically return to its original source.
Literally the same shit
That's not related to what I said there. Luffy directly has Shanks' hat and Roger's desire for One Piece. The name of his crew directly references the bond of him and Shanks and how Shanks passed it on to him.
Jinbe isn't particularly doing anything to help Fishmen become equal to humans. Giving blood to one guy isn't doing that too well. His main role is as an elderly protector to Luffy. If he was always going on about Fisher Tiger and most/all his actions were to continue the will of Otohime, I'd agree. But instead he's basically like a solemn old father figure for Luffy. His original thing when he was first mentioned is that he basically accidentally caused Arlong to be a problem, so even then he'd already passed on ideas and motivations down to a more current gen character.
Jinbe is a tired old man who's just focusing on helping out the current gen, he's not nakama material. He's just a red herring that'll die and the "I'll be a nakama one day" thing is just to make that more painful and poignant.
Carrot has some decent synergy with the crew so far.
Jinbe has a better relation to Luffy.
Pedro feels more like he'll be part of an alliance as does Reiju, hell I expect her to take over the whole Germa 66 and lend support.
My personal favorite although he seems extremely unlikely is Caesar simply because his interactions are also pretty fun, feels like he has great potential with the crew and also adds a logia.
Glad I wasn't the only one.
Nice quaderinos :^)
>That episode of Spongebob where Mr.Krabs rewinds a movie so jewishly it literally rips the film right out of a man's memory
I love JoJo more than any faggot you ever know, but please keep the "It's a JOJO reference!" crap to yourself.
>Give Sawyerfaggot a try
>10 seconds in
>hurr did you guys see Nami looking and Luffy and sitting next to each other
>ignoring Chopper/Zoro looking at Luffy
>Sanji looking at Nami
Shipperfags. Not even once
Fuck Monet, and I'm saying that as a Monetfag, but I couldn't be happier if Bonney shows up & her & Jinbe join. Bringing her in after an island full of edibles, after the pink hair/lipstick likeness of Mom & Lola, after all this time... It'd be stupid for her to show up in the manga after this arc.
Memory manipulation like that is all through sci-fi, like in a lot of Phillip K Dick stuff (most famously probably in Total Recall). If you mean the visualisation of memories as a film or a book, that's a common trope that you could probably easily google examples for. But it's a visual trope that someone's memories may be visually represented by a bookshelf full of books.
Except Monet showing up would actually make sense, Bonney would be out of fucking nowhere
and no, her having a food themed ship does not and has never confirmed that she is related in any way to Big Mom
DISCUSSION: What I don’t understand is why would Pudding tell Reiju her motives and plans for the wedding if she was just gonna erase her memory of it in the end JoJo style? Why didn’t she also do that for the Luffy & Nami?
I picked it up recently. So... In a few chapters there's a dude who went from random asshole to a superhuman x vampire. Then became able to control people's mind only to reveal he's also able to transform 400 years old corpses into zombies (with their original body). Also one of the zombie has killed his executioner by growing his hair extremely fast as he was dying. All this while taking themselves really seriously and making pose. I've really enjoyed it at the beginning but as soon as Dio wear the mask it's shit.
Because she's an evil bitch that enjoys watching people suffer. She got to watch Reiju break inside without any downside such as Reiju now knowing her plan. With Luffy and Nami she obviously doesn't expect them to escape. If she DID expect them to escape, she'd make sure they were even more securely imprisoned.
Jinbe is fucking guaranteed at this point. The only thing that could keep him from joining would be him dying, and there's been better times for Oda to pull that twist than right now in the middle of Sanji's drama.
Carrot and Pedro aren't joining. The Minks are already a formal alliance of the Straw Hats like Law is, and the two of them have just been sidekicks to Chopper and Brook respectively. They'll stick around as ally characters for a while but in the end they're guests like the samurai, and neither of them has a particularly strong backstory or motivation to join.
Reiju being the only sibling who gives the slightest shit about Sanji doesn't make her a crew candidate, she's coming off as a Nojiko or Genzo. Pudding just made herself irredeemable as of last chapter, and even if you're deluded enough to think otherwise her fruit power doesn't really work well for a lead character.
Has to be the case, since Pedro was the distraction and Brook seemingly didn't get far.
I'm sure he used his soul projection to scout the location of the poneglyph, and we'll see this in a flashback.
Every single time he forgot throughout the whole movie the guy tries to manipulate his memory, tries to access his notes, tells him to write his statements down, so you are wrong. He just doesn't do it with magic and also fails, but so will Pudding.
1. She does it because she loves seeing people despair or loves gloating in front of them
2. She knew Sanji was there and wanted to give him hints on what to do at the wedding to cause chaos
3. It is Oda using a trope to tell story elements directly to the reader
Also reiju didn’t say or do anything and that’s super frustrating she’s obviously being used as the object through which sanji gets to learn about pudding and be sad and like I totally am on board with sanji being sad but not this lazy ass way where a woman gets sidelined again despite having all these super abilities and being a super great fighter and SHIT cmon fuck
I'm not a manga expert, I haven't read about 99.9% of manga. But there are books from several lifetimes before this stuff that deals with memory manipulation in some way or another and visual metaphors for memory is usually a book or something similar.
As I said, the whole plot of Total Recall is him getting his memories totally and utterly fucked with so he has no idea of reality any more. That's based on a book from 1966. At absolute, total best, Jojo would be the first manga to copy the idea from somewhere else, not the first thing to come up with it.
Even though it might not happen, i really want Sanji to kick Puddings shit in. It would be really satisfying to see.
Because you need to read the manga not the wiki. Do you know what Sakura is collecting in the story? We'll at one point their is a visual depiction of her memories as film as reality is shattering.
Fucking, so many missed opportunities here. Pudding could be so much more sadistic. Just. Keep sanji around to surprise him with her cruelty and then make him forget, over and over again, or make him forget that his friends are here or just make him forget, period, there were so many opportunities she was alone with him so much step up your fucking game pudding
They said that Jinbe turned down the price Big Mom gave him for being too high.
She probably intended to butcher or take the life of every single person in his crew, not just Jinbe himself, and then he backed out of the deal when he realized it.
>jojofags getting mad
Is there even gonna be a wedding at this point? All of the SHs are able to move around, and unless they get captured again, I doubt it's gonna roll over into the next day. What's gonna happen here?
>The wedding looked so sweet at first but was totally rotten
>Pudding seemed the perfect wife but became a lying bitch
>Everyone is simply acting nice all the time but on the inside they're all manipulative, selfish assholes
Is... Is Oda okay?
>think jojo of all things invented the concept of memory manipulation
>calls others delusional
Of course not. Why would you even think that?
I mean, in retrospect it seems obvious.
The arc is inspired by Alice. The gimmick of every major Big Mom crew member we've seen so far is illusions and deception. It's only natural that Pudding and the wedding arrangements are no different.
>We need to lay low and wait for the wedding to happen because [nonsensical """"strategy"""" insight] and then we can free Sanji
>Sanji redeems himself by foiling big moms plans, defeating a commander, and securing a boat for the Vinsmokes/straw hats to escape on
>Pudding develops real feelings for him
>Sanji tells her to fuck off.
I think he is Sanji in this scenario. Imagine... Sanji kills himself. He tell his editors and assistants he's not really doing it, he's not really doing, it's a plan he will come back next chapter. And then Oda kills himself. Last chapter ever of One Piece.
That would make his manga really legendary.
>people STILL don't get that Pudding is 100% psycho evil bitch with no redeeming features at all and no sign of humanity
It's even more ridiculous than suggesting that Arlong suddenly has a heart-warming memory montage about all the good times with Nami and decides to let her go with all her beli AND a nice bonus on top.
I also still do not buy the 100% EEEVIL thing. Oda did show us a short flashback of Pudding thinking about Lola in a calm moment and also that she thought about Big Mom saying that she always has to listen to her. Oda never shows the reader things like this without purpose.
>Carrot and Chopper might run into Pudding before talking to Sanji/Luffy/Nami
Dont let Bropper and Carrot get BTFO
You see this is what makes Sanji such a shit character.
If he were in this situation, he would have just sat there refusing to do anything because "hurr muh honor can't fight a woman" and get his ass beat, even if his entire crews life were depending on him.
Brook still has honor and can act like a gentlemen but he's not a fucking beta retard about it.
Seriously, does this page alone make it not obvious that there is at least a bit of inner turmoil going on inside of Pudding?
Nobody hates Vivi
Do any humans know about it? Did it actually change anything at all? What's happened to the Fishman/human situation since then as a result of it? I get the symbolism, I get how it tied into a theme of the arc, but it doesn't make Jinbe any more of an inheritor of their will. Otahime's dream wasn't to put blood in a man who took a bite of the gum gum fruit.
It's a single, specific action that also ties into Jinbe being a guy that passes stuff on (blood to Luffy) rather than a person on his own personal arc that's receiving stuff from others or inheriting things. It's another example of Jinbe being the old guard that passes stuff on and looks after or inspires the up-and-comers like Luffy.
> He's Whitebeard, not Blackbeard
You do realize Teach and Jinbe are nearly the same age right? And Teach is grouped in with the newer generation.
The will of Fisher Tiger, Otohime and all of F.I have been passed onto Jinbe, or at the very least he's taken it on himself to accomplish what others had started.
Also, Brook is older than all of the Emperors, Sengoku, Garp, Whitebeard, and probably the Gorosei.. Age has absolutely nothing to do with dreams and the passing of the torch. They're for anyone to have and for anyone to take on.
I think your real problem is with whether or not he can fit through doors on Sunny.
