I hate just going on and on about Evangelion on its thread because if you give the series the chance, Flip Flappers does successfully stand on its own, but something about this ep seems like, if you put it on paper, like it's lifted from the original concept for Evangelion 3.0 instead of what we ended up getting.

Gendo and Fuyutsuki fuck around in the snow in Antarctica, then descend into Terminal Dogma. Meanwhile, Rei and Asuka fuck up the most popular angels in the original series just to fill screen time.

And this definitely does have some pacing issues. Which could be exactly why 3.0 was scrapped and rebuilt from scratch.

Honestly, I'm all for people pointing out legit flaws like the pacing and few animation bits, but to say this episode is "bad" is downright shitposting. Also Yuyu's probably kind of a devious person since she was able to mess with Cocona's emotions, so she's been noticing various things, mainly that KKK is a shitty place and that maybe Yayaka was right in risking herself for Cocona. For some reason they were never all that loyal to KKK to begin with even though it's their place to a bigger extent to Yayaka (they've probably spent all their lives at KKK).
I think Yuyu's much smarter that her behavior leads you to believe, so while her superiors thought the twins were following them like their robots she was always following them only because there was no explicit reason not to.
