He's hinted at it (strongly) but Yuuri's such a self-depreciating anxious mess that he can't help but feel that he's keeping Victor away from what the man really wants to do. Yuuri feels like a burden and has no idea just how much he changed Victor's world.

- Yuuri isn't worthy of Victor's time and attention
- Yuuri is so hard on himself that he can't like himself
- Because of this he can't see why anyone would want to love him

- Victor assumes he's communicated everything he feels despite not spelling it out
