Guys, I just had an epiphany yesterday that I think is pretty intriguing:

Ultimate Life Form Kars is a Requiem ability

Think about it: the mask and stand arrows provide the same purpose of giving powers, which we all know. What I didn't realize until now is that, following the presumption that requiem stands help their users with the problem they currently face, that the mask with the Stone of Aja is the same as the beetle arrow.

Kars' problem he had at the moment of wearing the mask (really every moment of his existence) was sunlight and, paired with his intense desire to conquer nature itself, gained the ability to anthropomorphize himself into any creature he desired, as well as his problem with sunlight.

Essentially, Kars gained both a new stand power, as well as defeating the Sun. Thoughts?

Araki always wanted the third JoJo who finally kills DIO to be Japanese because the Nips are a very proud bunch. After that he just found it easier. Josuke was Japanese because he wanted to write a small town story and the only small towns he knew about were Japanese by proxy of being Japanese. Giorno was the same reason as Jotaro. Jolyne was more Italian than anything, her mother was Italian and Jotaro is a quarter Italian so she ended up only a quarter Japanese and five eighths Italian. Big Boss and Solid Snake were both half Japanese in the MSX games before the timeline was fully settled and Kojima had to make it into a franchise. Big Boss' backstory is almost entirely different in the MSX games. Some people like them and that's fair but I couldn't stand the representation of JoJo. The characters are all dry and overly serious, the only one with a hint of charm and humanity to him is Polnareff. There are hardly any jokes, and the ones that are there aren't as good. The Vanilla Ice fight was a total mess. Enya got turned into a bland bombshell instead of her cool old crazy granny thing. There's hardly any indications the crewsaders actually cared about each other.

The shading and animation are good though, and some characters (like Vanilla Ice) look infinitely better than their anime versions. The DIO fight was handled pretty well too, and some other minor details (changing the Hierophant Green fight to being in a forest instead of the school) made for a nice contrast.

It'll probably look different since it was last drawn nearly 3 fucking years ago but the design will have minor changes like the ones Love Love Deluxe got between chapters. As for when he'll use it again I have no clue. Either what he's getting fried chicken man to do is create new fodder Stand users or it's just a one off event that leads into a confrontation with him we can't say right now, but with how he's been built up over the last 3 years Araki had better deliver soon if he doesn't want people's expectations to get ahead of themselves.

You could do SBR in 39 pretty easily since, although the chapters are longer, there's less panels on average since Araki wanted to do full page illustrations constantly so while it's 1000 pages longer than DiU in terms of actual screen time it'd be about the same length. So the only issue is the constant motion which requires more frames of animation which means you have to pay animators for more work which makes it cost a lot for the worst selling Part in the series.

Yeah I think he worked as a character, even if his battle was pretty stale considering how similar it was to previous ones, the MUDA rush at the end made it worth it. For the most part, Araki has been good at avoiding evil creep as well as power creep, though he broke both those in Part 5 and just went silly taking both to logical extremes with KC/GER and Cioccolata/Diavolo.
