Zamasu's hatred of ningen was poorly thought out. I can accept his being angry at ningen daring to tread on the realm of gods, but the shit where he is mad at cavemen for fighting to to survive makes him look like a dumbass child. They tried to justify this as humans passingly mentioning that ningen have gift of reason from the gods, but the cavemen kind of made that argument pretty weak. Especially since Gowasu is also a moron and thought a mere thousand years was enough for a civilization to really advance.

If Zamasu had rejected their logic, that would be acceptable. Thing is, no one was able to put up a real argument that wasn't an empty appeal to morals, which made everyone look as stupid as Zamasu himself.

Zamasu and Black were villains with good potential, sadly as the arc went on they just came off as dumber and dumber, and the more that was revealed the more apparent the bad writing became.
