There's still a way to save this series if Kamachi wanted. I call it project "personal reality" which would go down exactly as follows. Kamachi would completely give up on everything he's worked up until now including Index and Railgun and tell everybody he's starting off freash and every one of his works should basically be considered fanfiction. He should than write Railgun the way he currently realizes it should be done staring Mikoto and the Railguns with a little more of a serious touch on the series and go DxD and allow full nudity. It would be revolutionary and would save his failing career as people would pretend to be mad but would definitely give it a go and it would attract tons of new fans who could start from the beginning now that anime is far more popular and the circus show it would cause in the anime Industry would explode.*
