Unfortunately, I don't have a scanner, I can probably just provide more terrible jpgs.

I mean, I'd take better photos than this one(this was just a casual photo I sent my mom when the books came in the mail), but they'd still be about this level of clarity...

However, I wouldn't put you through the trouble unless you wanted to since that guy would be the one to scour the web for a translator with whatever you provided. I certainly don't have his persistence. It is extra lore and content for us EOPs if he finally succeeds in his endeavors though. Yeah, there were a couple of faults in the translation but none of that can be blamed on the anime itself. The translator just wasn't familiar with the material.

Oh, but there was a bit in the whale fight where the official subtitle was the opposite of what was actually being said. When Subaru's trying to attract the whale, he shouts out "Everyone who can hear me, listen up!" But actually what he really says is "Everyone who can hear me, cover your ears!" because he believes that hearing him would put them in danger, after what happened to Emilia.

If Crusch had her memories eaten, that means she was eaten after Rem lost, since she was guardian Crusch. He knew her name, since she is one of the candidates, and due to the soldiers/Rem's memories, but choose to only eat the memories, what if the dragon has some connection to the cult, or Ley is aware of something related to the dragon, and why he choose the candidates, and didn't want to leave her out of comission for the candidate's race.

I wouldn't say I'm empty inside, but I am often feeling a little listless. Something often haunts my thoughts in moments of rest. When not wrapped up in a story, memory, or daydream, I feel a little empty. Without purpose and value. I love fiction because it helps me relate to people, and I feel a connection with humanity through the strong emotions they display and evoke in me.

I seek to find an end to this lingering emptiness, and believe that if I can feel as though I've helped others to feel the things others have helped me feel, that I will be able to feel more purpose and substance in the meaning of my own life.

As for the reason, it's not clear yet. It may be both because Satella has a split personality. And there's loads of mysteries to be solved, Al for example is also from earth like Subaru, so he's not the only one from earth in that world, including someone from the past, who founded the country to the west, Kararagi.

So while Satella may have pulled him there, we don't know if that the same for the other ones. And the reason for him coming there is still not 100% clear, but we are getting clues and some foreshadowing like the fact that Satella main personality that live 400 years ago, is in love with Subaru deeply, and apparently it's because Subaru did something for her in the past if we consider her dialogue. While the other one, who is much more yandere also loves him, we don't know what her motivation for making him go through this is, since Satella wants to die by his hands.

Right. I just got a theory, though it's a pretty obvious one if I do say so myself. The story will be split up between seven lessons Subaru must learn, one for each Sin, and there will be an AU to show how things would turn out if he failed. Natsuki Rem is for when both Rem and Subaru took the path of least resistance, and failed to Sloth. The Echidna AU is when his Greed is enabled in the wrong way, and his desire to take the burdens of everyone ends up ruining everything.

Subaru overcame Sloth with Rem's aid, and by learning how to properly direct his effort and how and when to use others to accomplish his goals. I suppose it's also pretty fitting that the Bishop of Sloth is ultimately a user of people in the most direct of manners.

Greed was passed in Arc 4 when Subaru had to find a third path, rather than sacrificing all for one person as Roswaal wanted or sacrificing himself for everyone else as Subaru originally thought he should and Echidna would enable him to. To do so, he was given two reminders. First was that Rem didn't take his burdens upon herself in that last loop, but rather helped him to find the strength to do it himself, and second was when Satella reminded him that he wanted to live. If Subaru wanted to make it through without sacrificing anyone, not even himself, he he had to get everyone to find the strength to do their part in solving their own damn problems. Really, killing Regulus in Arc 5 was only a formality at that point, though Regulus does strike me as the sort who's unwilling to sacrifice anything he still cares about.

As such, I think Arc 6 is going to be when things start focusing on Gluttony. Nothing so mundane as the desire for physical sustenance, but more Gluttony as the Bishops present it. That empty hole inside a person and using other people, their hopes and passions, to fill it. As with the others, the True End and the Bad End will be based on which direction he takes his Gluttony.

The manga is a monthly release that didn't have much of a head start. So far it's been useful for including scenes that weren't in the anime but also weren't translated yet.

The anime didn't really change the ending so much as it cut before Subaru started talking about Rem to Emilia.

Rem is far from being the person she will be at the end of the series. Her time was started for about a month and a half, and both Ram and Subaru were looking forward to that just being the beginning. She needs to come out of her shell and get friends that aren't Subaru, and has more work to do on the Subaru front anyway, but becoming a doorstop sort of froze all that again.

You missed the most important bit in that timeline and that's that Emilia did care about Subaru in that way before the end of arc 3. I don't think that it was on the level that Subaru felt for her, maybe a small crush, but it was there or at least Rem strongly believed this was so. And she thought Emilia was being stubborn and couldn't admit her feelings. So Rem knew the girl Subaru liked, liked him back. And still went after him full force. Rem was just starting to grow really she still hadn't weaned herself off Ram completely or resolved all her inferiority complex. But she accomplished her romantic pursuit at least in the short time that time started to move forward for her. As for Emilia it seems like the end of arc 4 is where she really starts to grow since she faces her past demons and in arc 5 she gets to show that off by going full ice queen. I kind of get a Frozen vibe from it. I'll admit.
