A cheaper option would be seeing if there is a GK of that character. Or a GK that looks enough like them for an artist to modify it. GK commissions are a few hundred dollars where as sculpting and painting a custom figure would be closer to $1,000.

I got feedback in the last thread but need more opinions.

I can't really tell if she'll bin or not because Di Molto Bene doesn't really has a background in bishoujo figures and the price is a bit high. I'll be adding price alerts to figinstock and Amazon but only if I cancel the preorder.

Thanks. I just decided that I don't want the figure anymore. In the past, I've sucked it up, paid up, and re-sold still-sealed figures on MFC in similar situations when I changed my mind, but I always took about a 20% loss when doing this... other people also tend to decide at the same time as me they don't really want the figure that much either, or people expecting them to bin, or there just not being a lot of excitement.

It's not a character that I think will be desirable to sell a preorder of, to be honest (pic related). I bought it on impulse, but was disappointed that she ended up being basically a background character in her own anime. Not interested in playing the visual novel or video game, whatever the source material is, to build up hype. It's an averagely cute character with a lot of detail in it.

It would be nice if I could just not buy the thing in the first place and not incur a penalty. Sounds like I'm g2g on just ignoring the payment request. If they ban me, I'll be sure to report back here, though.
