That's not how it works in DB. In GT Goku got turned into a kid and still had all of his memories and mental faculties in order. Captain Ginyu switched bodies with a frog and still had the same personality. Super Buu turned Vegito into a candy bar and they still had their memories. Don't try to apply logic and science to DB.
