Sakugafags, is there any CGI anime worth watching?
Tailenders.
Garo

This is entirely subject, but so far almost all cgi movies had aspects I found aesthetically displeasing.
So I either watch them despite that or just out of technical curiosity to see how things are progression.
Another question is whether you want something approaching photorealism or anime styled.

Both because I want to watch them for the same reasons you do. I want to see what they're trying to achieve and how close to looking decent they're getting.
Boku no nice rec thread, faggot.

They're getting better in the photorealistic department, but there are still plenty of serious flaws. Flowing hair is still hard as ever. Character movements are stiff at times and facial animation feels off. Looks decent in still images though.
Anime style is more of a mixed bag, especially due to lower budgets. You can clearly see improvements over time, but outside of shorts or a few select sequences there are plenty of obvious flaws.

Garo had a lot of good CGI fights (first season, not second)
A lot of /a/ hated it, but I was a fan of Akito the Exiled's CGI fights
Mind you, both of those are examples of CGI metal with nothing organic

some animator expo stuff, precure endings, the battle scenes in etotama, the kyoto university spots, a few panning shot in arpeggio which they polished above average quality.
i'm not into mecha, but i think they occasionally produce some nice fight scenes in CG.

RWBY is p cool if you can get through season 1. It's only like two hours too.
