FIRST EPISODE EXPLANATION FOR DUMMIES:
>There is a shady organization searching for the crystal shards hidden inside Deep Illusion, a parallel world. A pair of girls with special powers is needed to enter Deep Illusion. Papika is one of these girls but it seems that her partner has failed repeatedly. Papika is tired of waiting around for a compatible partner so she escapes to look for one herself. Papika was probably raised inside the laboratory and has little to no idea of how to actually interact with humans, she is probably a bit brainwashed and believes "getting the crystal shards" is a treasure hunt game. The scientists control the robot in order to make sure Papika follos the mission. Cocona doesn't actually need the glasses, they only hold sentimental value; likely from her dead parents.

So did anyone else feel like the whole Forest and monsters scene was like when the Ohm are raging in Nausicaa? They are similar beasts and something about the forest just reminded me of the polluted parts in Nausicaa. Not that it was the same plot wise or anything just looked like it could have been an inspiration/influence for that scene.

This show looks very beautiful.
It is exceptionally well done, the animation reminds me to Studio Ghibli and the backgrounds are a piece of art.
There is a great sense of composition in each shot, almost like am avant garde esque arthouse movie. The pacing is great too. Truly a masterpiece of animation by a great new director that could become the next Miyazaki.

It's a shame all of it will go under the radar and all this artistic energy will be wasted for nothing because all the energy is wasted on a story about loli yuri characters that end up having sex while oldfag otaku masturbate furiosly and squirt all over paprika in their dreams.

It really pains me what happened to Kyousogiga though. I feel like it could have been so much better given the right resources it needed. All the best stuff was just the parts from the ONAs and then there was this material of clearly lower quality in terms of production tacked on around it to flesh out the story and they couldn't even bring themselves to pay for 13 episodes. It just never really felt like a complete and purposefully made story of a series more like something cobbled together as best as could be done with what was given. It was better off as a mysterious borderline nonsensical set of highly creative ONAs that people could just speculate the fuck out of.
