What are we going to learn in the seventh volume?
All of this is still... In the most chaotic shambles.
That is... DOROHEDORO!

Sorry about yesterday, I couldn't find the time.

What an amazing disguise
>>146766513
Wow. Everything went better than expected?
>only 2 doujins
Life is suffering
>>146767247
Devils are gods, having one on your side is damn handy.
Be back in a few minutes.
I've been reading this on my own over the last couple weeks and you're already about to surpass me.
>>146768141
I've lost count of the times I've read it.
>>146768355
The cutest couple.
>>146769017
That is a really cool bracelet.
>>146769033
Kasukabe has a tattoo of it.
Thank you once again OP
Color pages.
>>146769635
You're welcome.
And that's all.
>>146766540
I read the entire thing once, and I think I still missed who stabbed her. Who is it again?
>>146771498
Kaiman under the control of the Risu in his mouth.
>>146771678
Why would mouth-Risu do that though?
>>146773130
So Kaiman wouldn't have to kill Nikaido in a death match.
Is VIZ the best way to read this series?
Good manga OP. Started reading it a short while ago and now i'm hooked
>>146773738
Yeah, what reason does he have to help Kaiman?
>>146771498
>>146771678It was Kai/Hole, Kaiman briefly blacked out to him. Notice how the wound was nonlethal and cut in a way that expelled the contract with En, Asu saysthat's no coincidence. Kai/Hole has excellent surgery related skills and Kaiman retained them as you can see when he did a really good job at stitching wounds back at the hospital. Risu's curse inside his mouth has no power whatsoever on Kaiman, he was simply commenting he was just going to kill another friend just like when Kai/Hole had killed Risu, who thought it was Aikawa.
>>146775108
Nice to hear!
>>146773846
VIZ has better scan quality and an overall better translation but there are stupid errors here and there. The also turned the color pages to black and white, which was a really bad move.
>>146778291
Again, why would he try to help Kaiman and Nikaido?
>>146764485
Don't know how I didn't see this thread. Thanks for the dump OP. Something must be going around because there are about 4 of these threads going on for different series.
>>146779837Because he did not purposely try to help . Kaiman out of desperation turned back into Kai who too had lost his memories so he simply carried out Kaiman's will at the moment.
>>146764485
Oh thank god, I thought you were dead
>>146782960
Sorry about that, I might lose some days along the way but I won't disappear without saying a word.
>>146767280
Quality over quantity
>>146764485
Keeping this alive for a second
>>146766897
Oooooh, Kaiman is pissed
So is anyone reading this for the first time? I'm curious what your thoughts are so far.
>>146789136
I am, but not through these threads and I'm only a little ahead right now.
I have no idea what to think but the style is really cool so far. Everything I've thought about what happened in the past has been wrong so far too.
>>146789136
I actually just finished reading the series myself the other day. it's really interesting. I saw someone call it "the manga that makes no sense for 100 chapters and then makes total sense" and yeah that basically sums it up for me.
it seems like it's ending soon, but do we know how much longer it has? There were notes that it was supposed to end with volume 19, but now we're on volume 21 now...
>>146789136
I am re-reading it. I love it. The comfy gore feels is my favorite.
>>146791487
Rereading made me catch a lot of foreshadowing that I originally thought was a bunch of asspulls.
>>146790104
On my second read-through and I still have only a limited understanding of what's happening. Honestly the best part is the cast- I've never read another manga like this one where the gore and cheerfulness of the characters doesn't feel like the author is trying to be grim and mature with some added witticism. In Dorohedoro, the world is how it is and the characters simply inhabit it and live their lives. Simply fantastic.
>>146792144
>>146793638
I was surprised to find so many negative reviews on baka updates. I feel most of them don't understand the comfy and campy feelings. I like how the black powder is actually a "drug plot" but is not exagerated neither looks edgy.
>>146790104
Volume 22 should be the last one, if it doesn't get extended once more.
>>146792144
>>146793638
The foreshadowing game is impressive, and the plot albeit confusing at first glance makes perfect sense. Really makes the re-read worth it.
>>146795303
I love the world, there is no black and white, everything depends on what you want to do, how good you're at it and most importantly everything is pretty chill. Hole and the sorcerers' world to a less extent are an utter shithole but it drives home the feeling that having true friend can make every place enjoyable. The dissonance between mood and setting is fantastic.
What volume was that magic clone of Kaiman? running around being followed by Shin and Noi?
>>146797533
Do you mean when Chota made a Risu doll? Volume 2.
>>146797704
Yeah that. It was volume 2 and it wasn't Chota. I wanted to reread that part.
>>146797938
Yeah, I meant Turkey.
>>146769514
This extra story always seems pretty sad.
>>146798346
I agree. Even if Fujita and Ebisu eventually give their significant contribute to the story it's always made clear here and there between some jokes that they are third and second rate sorcerers and inept people too. Kinda makes them tragic characters.
>>146798548
It sometimes makes me wonder if Hayashida Q had a rough childhood. If feel like this series portrays poverty pretty accurately.
>>146799010
I don't remember reading anything like that in the interviews but it's a possibility, I guess. I had a chuckle when I read she had collected all of Jungi Ito's works.
>>146799613
That doesn't surprise me at all.
>>146769235
>shin is so edgy that getting stabbed in the heart only angers him
I still don't understand his heart motif fully.
>>146797270
are we still in volume 21 or are we starting 22 now?
>>146802036
He enjoys brutality as long as it's part of his job, in this instance his desire to save Noi played a role too. I don't think there is anything else to read into his heart motif.
>>146802475
If I am not mistaken we just finished volume 21 with the latest chapter, 147 (chapters 146 and 147 haven't been fully translated yet).
>>146802909
ah ok then, so we still have a little ways to go, cool
>>146802943
Going by where the plot is right now I guess volume 22 might be the last one for real but let's not forget it was supposed to end with volume 19 so who knows.
>>146803101
I have no idea how it could have wrapped up with 19 if they'd stuck with that plan
>>146803594
My guess is that she hadn't originally planned the massive infodump and all of those shenaningas in the central department store.
>>146789136
I basically binge read it from the beginning in a few days about a week ago and I fucking love it so far. The characters are great and the foreshadowing is done rather well. I just hope there's a moderately happy ending.
