Guys, guys!

There's very few ways of solving the closed room mystery from episode 3. Either Gozu killed himself, Naegi killed him, or Asahina killed him. Those are the only possibilities. That means we either have NaeJunko (which also implies KiriJunko), or ChisaAsahina... HOWEVER!

What if... what if they wake up immediately after falling asleep, have a time-limited chance to stop the killer, and all their memories are wiped of that period if they fail? Obviously Monokuma would tell them the murder is going to happen, or they wouldn't be spurred to action.

Naegi, Gozu, and Aoi would never, ever stay in a barricaded room if they knew in advance that someone would be killed. So, they willingly opened the door, only to come face to face with the killer. After 'THE MAN' Gozu died, they were put back to sleep and had their memories wiped for that time period. Their bodies were repositioned to where they were when they first fell asleep, and were re-awoken.

There's some additional supporting evidence too: Chisa was killed while she was awake since she was crying at the time of death, yet, because of Seiko's downcast expression and Gozu's mask, it meant we never got to see either of their eyes, ostensibly because it would hint pretty explicitly that they aren't killed while asleep.

Also, there are signs of a struggle around Seiko's corpse - she was thrown with such force that the wall crumbled, even managing to cause water to leak from outside (they're underwater, duh).

Prove my theory wrong.

Chiaki in DR2 was a little bit airheaded at times, but when the chips are down, she'd step up to bat for everyone and figure shit out/do everything in her power to solve the case. Now, in DR3, she spends her time crying about Hinata. So there are others who've undergone bad changes in the new anime. You can just chalk it up to poor writing, because that's what most of this anime has been.

Well, I do like what DR3 has done with Twogami, but traces of his attitude could definitely be seen even in DR2. Everything he does in DR3 doesn't seem unreasonable given how he was in DR2.

Moving on to the whole "judging as a whole" thing, if I did that, I wouldn't be able to enjoy a lot of the characters in this series. Given what's happening in Zetsubou-hen, and the fact that Mitarai is following Kirigiri around at Kazuo's instruction despite the exit being right in front of their faces, his NG code is almost surely 'do not disobey a direct order'. He's also probably an unwilling pawn of the mastermind (or KiriJunko, which would be massively ironic in a plethora of senses).

Kirigiri, meanwhile has either the traitor NG code (has to kill during sleeping cycles, she would probably do it if she had to), or is being stingy with her hypotheses because her NG code is something along the lines of 'do not make a false accusation' because of how reluctant she was in 0 to do basically anything without enough evidence.

Something to note, is that, unlike most of the other 'participants', Kirigiri looked utterly shocked when she saw her NG code in episode 2, so it's probably not something simple.
