Look at it this way. Before Chisa found her, she was just wandering around school playing games. From the looks of it, it seems like she had no friends at school until she met Hajime. He was the first friend she made at school, and possibly the first friend she made through her games. She tells Imposter in episode 2 that her games won't make her any friends. If she believed this at that moment, that it can be inferred that Hajime's the first person to break that line of thinking. He helped her see another purpose for her talent.

Also keep in mind that a stereotypical gamer would most likely be an introvert. She normally wouldnt try to make friends unless she feels there's a good enough reason to. But when she does make those friends, she would be extremely loyal and affectionate to them. So now that the first friend to accept her gaming talent has been missing and according to her teacher, is perfectly fine, it's understandable why she'd worry about him. I'd be more surprised if she just ignored his disappearance after talking to Chisa.

I have a question. DR0 is apparently still canon, because we've seen Matsuda and a few other DR0 references in DR3.

But DR0 takes place during the period when HPA executives and higher-ups started disappearing, and by the latest Despair Arc ep, it said that already 20-something of them are gone. Not to mention, the school seemed relatively peaceful in DR0 until the end, when the Reserve Course riot started. Junko was seen as a regular highschooler by everyone.

And yet Juzo's flashback in the latest Future Arc implies that he's going to get fucked up by Junko in the next episode of Despair Arc, which would obviously mean that he knows her deal.

I think it's mostly because of the tell don't show attitude around most of class 77.

The anime is focusing on showing characters like Chisa and Juzo because we don't know a whole lot about them. For class 77 we more or less know their personalities from SDR2 but not their role in the events that lead to the tragedy so that's all Despair hen is going to use them for most likely.

That actually supports the introvert theory. She may feel uncomfortable walking up to strangers about something like this. The only people we've seen her talk to are her classmates, Chisa, and Hajime. She didn't speak with her class until Chisa gave her the idea of using her games. So when she did talk to them, she had the context of "Chisa suggested we try out these games." She doesn't have any contexts to approach strangers. It's possible she may feel like she'd be a nuisance if she spoke tried bringing her problems to them.
