Arc-V and GX are definitely not better than DM. DM has its flaws but those two show are much more flawed. 5Ds has the good first half but the terrible second half to neutralize its quality. All DM did bad was being a mediocre adaptation of an already great manga. Filler arcs by themselves are decent and more importantly skippable so it doesnt impact your viewing experience too much. So I would say DM and 5Ds are equal and both of them are better than GX, Arc-V and ZEXAL.

ARC-V has the best premise of any series. Even better than the mangas (including the ARC-V manga). However, it had a very flawed execution of its ideas and plot. By looking back at Standard you can see that they minimized or dropped many would-be plot points because ARC-V's fundamental problems were its pacing issues and its bloated cast. Both would not have been a problem if the series lasted 4 years. But given 3 years only, together with its immense ensemble of characters (including nostalgia), the show became a wreck. At this point the best we can hope for is a speedy explanation of all the mysteries that viewers wants to know as well as getting episodes that are at least near the level of greatness as the fake? spoilers.

I've watched every series and I have to disagree with a couple of your points.
DM's still got the best MC character progression, so long as you acknowledge Yugi as the MC and Atem as the plot-driver. DM also treated its side characters better and didn't suffer from character overload, instead recycling the same side cast most of the time.

5Ds has had better duels because most of the duels in Part 1 assumed that the viewer actually knew how to play the game and could grasp combos before they were played, even not knowing some of the cards.

I will agree that the overarching plot still looms overhead and has more foreshadowing than it has in the past, but the fact that it's taken over 100 episodes to really get anywhere near the truth is pretty grating.

Far from it. There have only been 4 duels that were really good: Sora v Shun I, Yuya v Sawatari, Gon v Yaiba, and Yuya v Reiji II. Everything else has been shilling garbage with situational cards up the ass.

Who gives a fuck about good ideas when it's executed like garbage. It's even more insulting when the show clearly has enough time to straighten things out but it wastes more time doing jack shit.

I much rather prefer the shy kid with no friends and the nameless spirit without any memories trying to find their way in the world, or the poor kid living in slums with a chip on his shoulder and a penchant for resisting authority trying to settle the score with an old friend who wronged him in the past. Hell I'll even take the happy-go-lucky kid just trying to have fun at school or the socially awkward, hyperactive kid trying to get attention because he lacks proper caretakers in his life.

The characters are garbage and barely get screentime. It doesn't matter how diverse they are when only the same few get screen time. The main character is terrible and by far the worst one in Yugioh. He's incredibly underdeveloped and they have to twist the plot to make him work. The duels are garbage. Too many rely on Action Cards which are inconsistent and Pendulum is spread far too thin. The duels are also the weakest emotionally we've ever had because the characters are weak and don't have any stakes in the fights or even relationships with each other. The plot isn't interesting.
