Regarding Lady M - she is completely new character and not someone from previous Macrss series.
Mikumo's background isn't revealed. She's not android, but we don't learn anything else. Mikumo doesn't remember and Lady M says she will reveal when time will come.
Love triangle isn't resolved. It's not even sky ending, after the final battle they just all are ahppy and celebrating and don't address romance at all. It's like they completely forgot there was love triangle.
Mirage doesn't get any significant highlight. She continues her role as Hayate's and Freyja's mother, but she doesn't give up on her love.
There is no medley during final battle. They just sing Hear The Universe (it's song from ep17).

Biggest member of the Delta defense force here (was that even a thing beyond that one thread?), even I would say I didn't quite enjoy the last two episodes all that much, they dragged a bit too much. On the other hand, by this point in Frontier I had more or less lost interest entirely so there's that. I know we're building towards a big finale.
