We can all agree that Sango was best girl, right?

I remember staying up until 11 to watch this as a kid on weekends. It was the first anime I was truly obsessed with, I used to imagine myself being a part of the show and interacting with the characters. I had a huge crush on Sango too, and Kagura as well. The feeling of excitement I felt as the intro played and then the depressed melancholy feeling that came as the end theme played and I once again realized it was just a show were intense.

Now I'm too burned out to ever have that kind of emotional reaction to any show ever again.

Too many fucking times do we see them fight Naraku and have him get away, or have Inuyasha crash uselessly against his barrier, only for Inuyasha to get a new power up, and then Naraku to counter that with a new fucking power up.

The series should have ended after or at least near after the Seven Bandits, but even THAT wasn't enough for this fucking series.

This show got me into anime that wasn't Pokemon/Digimon/DBZ/Sailor Moon.

Stayed up on Friday nights to watch it on YTV as a kid.

First time I tried watching Inuyasha was during my shounen phase and even back then it was dreadfully boring.

Second time I was shocked by how good the animation quality was but again ended up dropping the show at about 50 episodes because the plot was going nowhere.

Ranma can go on forever since it's basically a anime sitcom with no long overarching plot. Inuyasha should have been done in 50 episodes.
