It makes no sense at all. They are being pursued by a large group of people. There is no guarantee that they can get away. Being monitored means nothing when the cast hasn't even really been attacked by anyone.Yugo and Kaito each fought one scrub and then the Ruris had no guards. If they need the Yus why did they leave Yugo lying on the ground instead of capturing and brainwashing him or even just simply capturing him? What if Yugo won? Then what? What if Edo showed up during the duel and helped Yugo? There are far too many risks with this. Usually when there's a mind controlled character, even when the control is not broken the characters get a bit shaken by a outburst like Yugo's, talking about the D-Wheel they built togheter and their dreams.

Not in this case. How impassive Rin looked through the whole thing made it even better. Cry all you want Yugo, it's not making a dent in the hold the parasite has on her mind.

That makes me hopeful the other Ruris will be the same, to the point even Yuya can't reach out to Yuzu in their eventual duel. He'll need to win the duel and destroy the parasite, no infight from Yuzu's part helping him
