Abyss Actors are shit and so is Red Demon as an archetype. Galaxy is shit too. People only use a few of the bosses in a few select decks. Destiny Heroes are shit these days so Blue-Eyes is the only competitive deck. Those new spy monsters are made by Konami of America. Not Japan. Konami of America hates Heroes while Japan likes them. It's why they are getting the Destiny Soldiers set. For some reason whoever designed the cards is a retard though and knows nothing about the deck. GX in general gets the second most support after DM so they don't hate GX at all.

Yeah, Judai went through more rivals then any protagonist, then again, GX was full of thrown in bullshit in a naive attempt to ride off the YGO name. I can understand why they chose Edo and Kaito instead of Chazz and Shark, both those fuckers decks were chaos incarnate, they changed aces like under where and their decks were random anythings. I mean in one deck Chazz had VtoZ, Ojamas, Armed Dragons and that anime only Betron archetype and Shark had several rank 3 engines but several rank 4 monsters including his barian ace they should of stuck him with Leviathen Dragon but I guess it was too weak for their liking. Heroes were good long before Shadow Mist and the Masked Heroes. The omni Heroes won multiple large events due to Shining being so damn big back in the day coupled with Absolute Zero. People used to use Soul Taker for Shining and I think Light Pulsar because it made them lose timing. Then Heroes used to blow shit out with Shock Master. The deck is one that has always evolved over time.
