>Explain THIS Tales of fans.
MC and his husbando
...I'll allow it'
Would you be faithful and wait for your true love for 700 years, /a/?
Sorey has to go into some kind of magical coma to purify the main villain. Mikleo promises to wait for Sorey to wake back up and I assume picked up archeology to pass the time during the hundreds of years it takes for Sorey to come back. Highly implied Sorey comes back as a Seraph at the end.
I don't even like gay shit but twice now I considered how nice it would be to cuddle with Mikleo.
No lewd, just cuddle and sleep together, then have a nice talk about our plans for the day when we wake up.
It would have been better if Mikleo was a girl.
Literally flawless character design upgrade
>implying he's not
He's too perfect to be a pig disgusting female.
>make it a girl
>stupid skimpy outfit with no regard to the character
How utterly boring. Looks like if Milla and Muzet had a spirit baby.
>You will never pull his hair from behind while doing it
>Velvet is considered a monster as of Zestiria
>Artorious is considered a savior and hero
I love this shit
Well you can atleast envision it.
Sorey said from day one that his dream was to spend the rest of his life with Mikleo and see the world with him. Then he becomes immortal like Mikleo and ends up doing just that.
What do you think?
Reverse search with SauceNao
Yes. The story begins and ends with Sorey and Mikleo together.
Can they have sex? We know from Zavied that they can, also they do feel sexual desire.
Can they reproduce? Sadly for the fandom, probably not.
>Wait homo end wins?!
By the time Sorey wakes up from his magic sleep all the girls in the series have been long dead, and Sorey gets to live his dream of seeing the world with Mikleo.
That's actually femMikleo. Fanarts tend to not draw female Mikleo any different from male Mikleo.
Sure, why not?
No, or there would be alot more of them. Which brings about the question of how Edna and Eizen are related by blood.
Sorey and Mikleo are for pure anyway, so no dick insertion in this relationship.
>how Edna and Eizen are related by blood
Pretty sure Edna said they weren't in a skit where they discussed Seraphim birth.
Nobody knows how they'll handle the adaptation because it's a crossover with another game. That being said, the game ended with Sorey and Mikleo together eternally. I don't think they will change that concept given the changes they've already made to pander to their relationship.
A seraphim's appearance is based on how they percieve themselves so they very well could have made themselves look alike because they think of themselves as siblings.
In the case of Dezel and Zaveid, Zaveid was Dezel's teacher for a while and helped raised him, so Dezel may have very well decided to look like Zaveid based on that.
Mikleo has nice collar bones
Nah, they just buy the most merchandise.
I don't really mind it though since I can appreciate both the cute girls and boys Tales offers.
Edna was very attached to her little sister role, it wouldn't be surprising if that made her end up resembling Eizen.
Was that really the explanation? Fuck, Dezel's entire backstory was a clusterfuck of shit.
Assuming Sorey actually came back as a Seraph, it could be anything. He was just fused with Maotelus, who was a Light Seraph, so it could be light. Alternatively, it could be Thunder like Gramps for pottery.
We will never know.
Who knows. Common suggestion is lightning like Jiji since he throws it everywhere in his mystic artes.
>Malevolence would make Mikleo a dragon in no time flat.
Malevolence!Sorey and evil Mikleo is some good shit though
Tainted AU is only good for lewd that Sorey/Mikleo would not do within their pure personalities.
What a slut...
>is legitimately into Rose from start to finish
>hardly gives a shit about anyone else
Atleast learn how to use your buzzwords
I just find them oddly attractive.
I guess you could get that impression from Symphonia since it allows you to pick any of the four female party members.
Tales has some top tier girls, but it also has a big female fanbase that likes the cute boys, like shipping them, and buys the merchandise.
I think this was the result of 2015's character popularity poll with Leon and Yuri being retired for winning too much.
Honestly I imagine if they did a strictly Western poll that you'd either see girls in the top ten or a similarly lopsided result with girls.
I like them pure since it seems more fun to mess with them that way and they're cuter.
Was great that in the Zestiria event for Tales of Link that they say Sorey couldn't have been kidnapped by someone lying to him about there being ruins nearby and then getting him with sleeping herbs, only for that to have been exactly what happened.
Have you ever played a Tales of game? There's always a het romance between the male and female leads which was why Mikleo filling in the "female heroine" role was so surprising. And if you're referring to Symphonia, Colette destroyed the competition.
I can't imagine average Sorey/Mikleo doing anything before 1000 years of handholding and marriage. So tainted AU manages to justify any lewd actions.
For one, I could see an alternative Sorey actually know that he can use his dick for sexual. Average Sorey would have to be manipulated or forcefully aroused into using his dick for sexual.
Colette does start out with a pretty big lead and I think she may even get more points than or opportunities for points than the other girls, it's possible to end up with someone else though, I did it once or twice. I think you actually have to have Zelos and maybe Kratos in that position if you want to fully complete the game or at least learn more about the former.
Oh yes, for each other it would be kind of out of character and thus mean you'd have to rely on tainted AU. Suppose I should have clarified I was talking about more of faceless and probably not consensual situation, in which case both are perfect as is.
Everyone's journey starts somewhere, friend.
You can justify non-tainted Sorey and Mikleo having sex. Realize something Sorey and Mikleo grew up together, without any other child their own age and surrounded by adults who acted as their parental figures.
Sorey is 17, so he's gone through puberty, there's really only one person around his age that he could express any level of sexuality towards. Sorey expresses that Mikleo is a person that he finds attractive. Mikleo would do anything for Sorey.
Put all of that together and you've got a reason for why some people believe that they'd have sex.
Well yes, Lloyd could get the most points with any character in the game but Lloyd/Colette is pretty much the traditional Tales of het romance.
>drama CD has Lloyd and Colette traveling together
>get paired merch together
>consistently voted one of the top "makes a good pair" in polls
I'm hoping Berseria breaks the trend of the uguu Tales of romance since they're not that great in general?
Berseria seems to be going for a familial thing as opposed to romance, or perhaps /ss/ if you're into that.
His hair is so sexual.
>Mikleo would do anything for Sorey.
I get your point, I think it's more like I couldn't see Sorey initiating anything sexually with Mikleo because it's not in his purely driven nature. Like he'd be capable of getting horny maybe but wouldn't act out on sexual impulses unless motivated to do so.
Hopefully they do more with these three in the future.
Oh, yeah in a way Lloyd and Colette are the canon pair of Symphonia. Dawn of the New World does honor your original choice however.
I'd be tempted to say Stahn and Rutee are the traditional romance simply because they came before and actually get married and have a child.
Damn, this certainly kicks long hair on Mikleo up a few notches.
Definitely this, plus on the second playthrough he has a voice for dialogue choices. I was skeptical about a silent protagonist but they did a good job with him- he got exasperated, flustered, and generally acted more like an adult than I'm used to seeing from Tales protags. It helped that Elle was there to help act as his voice sometimes too.
Fuck you, he was a great protagonist after he got past being a wimpy cry-baby. I bet you think pic related sucks too.
I really hope there's a long, gay magical-girl-esque transformation sequence when Sorey and Meebo
Every single time, and only for those two.
He's cute though
Ruta is one of the reasons I'm interested in Innocence and I'm disappointed that it'll probably never make it over unless they decide to remake it again.
Not him, but while I liked Emil he has no place being in the top 10. Neither Assbel who was one of the most boring characters in his own game. Nips have shit taste, Im sorry anon.
One of the skits have them basically agree they have a long life of being ruin nerds together. Also the balcony scene was literally a 'wait for me so we can fulfill our dream' promise.
Check out Absolute Zero- they've translated a lot of Tales games, Innocence being one of them. Just get desmume, the ISO for Innocence, and AZ's patch and you're good to go. Might have to do some tweaking in desmume to fix a few sound issues but I've been playing it with no issues after fixing the audio. Waiting on Bamco to release stuff over here is asking to die old and wanting.
I agree with you on Asbel since he, Sophie, and Cheria were carried by the rest of the cast. Emil, however, deserves all the love he gets. If we're going to argue shit taste then Raven and Lloyd shouldn't be on there- "geez I'm so old at 30 I'm a grandpa" and "I'm a shounen protagonist so original" are overrated.
The rest of the characters got obvious Halloween costumes, so I can see why they went with a cute sort of werewolf.
I might have to eventually do that.
Namco has been pretty good about making sure to get the new games over here. I think part of it is either trying to make up for slacking sales in Japan or just realizing that they need to start selling more games overseas as a whole.
>No lewd, just cuddle and sleep together, then have a nice talk about our plans for the day when we wake up.
Anon, don't make me feel emotions. I'd much rather stay numb.
Well since they registered the Innocence trademark but didn't release because Vita sales sucked (DS sales apparently mean nothing), did strange things to Hearts' localization, stiffed us of the PS3 version of Vesperia, botched Destiny's localization, and take a year or more to release anything to us in general, I'd say we're pretty low on their list of priorities. Better to play for free now and pay later if they do bring it over at some point.
I figured it was because he's attractive.
>(DS sales apparently mean nothing)
Was never released outside of Japan for the DS
>stiffed us of the PS3 version of Vesperia
That was during the phase when they didn't realize Tales actually had a Western fanbase and/or needed more money.
>botched Destiny's localization
I think most companies were still doing shoddy localizations in 98, even if they weren't, this was again during a time when Namco didn't realize or didn't care about the Western fanbase.
>and take a year or more to release anything to us in general,
Again sort of par for the course. My guess is that it's a funding thing.
At any rate, from what I've heard they're treating the Western fanbase a lot better than they used to.
Even if it's par for the course, companies like Squeenix are doing simultaneous global releases now. JRPG fans are used to waiting years for a chance at a localization of any kind, but with how much easier it is to do global distributions these days, is there really much of an excuse other than "home market first, filthy gaijin get it when it's been redone for them"? It's business sense, sure. But by the time stuff gets released for us here my hype is kind of dead and I'm not as excited about the series in general. I love Tales but I don't feel loved by the devs is what I'm saying, I suppose.
But yes Ludger is very attractive.
Square Enix is still likely king of the roost when it comes to JRPGs in the West. As you say though it probably is still a sentiment of Namco putting Japan first and getting around to everybody else in a timely manner.
Honestly, Namco's attitude doesn't seem different from most other Japanese companies, they all seem to suffer from an extreme case of navel gazing. For example, Nintendo continually opens Pokecenters in Japan, yet they turned the only one in the US into an overall Nintendo store which I'm guessing has a decent portion devoted to Pokemon.
Regardless of whether the aforementioned just sells crap, it smells of them saying they'll take out shekels for games, but they're not going to try and do anymore than they have to.
Yeah, Namco could do a lot better with regards to Tales, but in the West I think they're still in the phase where I'm willing to give them some slack.
We'll probably get something like the game and sorry but
Lailah is his first.
Tales of games become more and more fujoshi pandering with each installment, I haven't played Xillia 2 or Zestiria yet but Graces f was. Still fun games.
I can tolerate it but I'm not a fujoshi myself.
Tales boys are cute
Correction, they buy the merchandise and such, but those who play the games are male.
For whatever reason the fujo stuff doesn't bother me as much as if people were pushing yuri. Like people start posting Alisha/Rose and the annoyance spikes a minute amount.
Asbel, Sophie, and Cheria look good from the skits I've seen, and Sophie is adorable.
Lloyd may be generic, but he also has an appeal to him. The boyish looks don't hurt either.
I guess it can be all right if it isn't pushed too much.
It's not really pushed, at least in the games.
Sophie is cute, Cheria not so much.
The common belief is that Mikleo was the one who taught Sorey how to masturbate, or that they might have fucked because of the belief that Sorey being sexually frustrated will leave him vulnerable, or because of the fake elixir.
Oh I know there isn't much basis in the games, I think Rita/Estelle and Alisha/Rose are the only couples people would really bring up, maybe Leia/Agria.
It's really not with Tales but with other series that I sometimes see it happen, I feel like it's being shoved down my throat. Not just yuri either, same thing happened with Velvet/Laphicet and I'm sure it'll happen again.
It's probably just the messengers, I imagine if there were real fujos posting here I'd probably find them just as annoying.
Cheria I think I find kind of cute in that she has a sort of sophisticated air about her and wouldn't react well to certain things. Kind of liked the scenes I've saw where she tries to act like a mother towards Sophie.
She's voiced by Laura Vailey too, which doesn't hurt.
I haven't gotten around to playing Vesperia yet (though I did import it) so I can't comment on that but most of it is Yuri googles, fujoshi stuff just escapes my radar because I don't look for it.
Cheria & Asbel were my least favourite part.
Abyss is my favourite and Tear is still the best Tales girl (and I normally go for the lolis but Anise a shit).
I like Tear too, but you gotta admit the relationship between her and Luke is really forced. Maybe it's because everyone knows Luke's true age and the fact that he behave like a 7 year old, the game constantly reminding you of that fact, and Tear really just treating Luke as more of a younger brother than a love interest. It didn't do anything for the story or the characters, in fact in Tear's case it hurt her character.
And yes Anise is shit.
I actually don't recall many people bringing up romantic relationships as one of Tales strong points, could be wrong however.
People seeing what they want to see is how I figured it, just like with fujos. I think Sorey and Mikleo are possibly the only ones you could argue and even then it probably errs more towards two really good friends or brothers. I can easily buy that they didn't put Sorey in a romantic relationship because they thought it wouldn't mesh with his character.
Have to disagree about Anise, her money grubbing and bratty nature just makes her all the more cuter to me. Tear is nice though.
I can appreciate and even like a girl with an attitude. All the better if it comes from a character whose outside appearance would suggest something completely different.
The one trial where Edna puts on the cutesy act and then immediately drops it when it doesn't get her anywhere is probably one of the best parts in Zestiria I've seen.
They are just very good friends, don't worry!
What makes people dislike Anise isn't just the fact that she's a bitch but also because of her behavior right after Azeriuth. It gets worse when you realize that she's a spy working for Mohs and was also responsible for Ion's death. Then after you find out everything her attitude towards Arietta becomes unjustified.
To make matters worse, if she's traveling with several powerful key figures, they could have easily saved her mother and father.
Well to be fair I didn't play Tales for the relationship, but I never disliked Luke like a lot of people do and it didn't feel forced just sort of one sided (probably because of the age factor).
Wasn't really talking to you in specific, just saying in general that of all the Tales threads I've been on here, /v/, and /vg/ for a period, I can't really recall someone saying they really liked a particular romantic relationship that the games put forth.
I find it ironic that there are, or rather were a lot of people who preferred Asch, giving the excuse that he was "more mature" when Asch was more immature and brattier than long haired Luke.
I've seen people say that they like Emil and Marta together only to turn around and say that Emil seemed better with Ritchter. Overall the most popular pairings end up being those that aren't canon.
I think that they pretty much struck gold with Vesperia, in how they just left it to the fans to decide for themselves.
They've been releasing games here since the mid nineties, and they've only just started to reliably give us each major title in some form. Zestiria was the first one where we weren't forced to use the English dub, too. There are also situations like Heart's and Link's half-assed translations to think about. Things are getting better but I'm wondering how much longer I'm going to have to be patient for.
There's one thing I can say for sure they've improved on: not re-releasing the same game with more content a year after the initial release (Innocence R, Hearts R, Graces f, etc.). Shit like that seemed dumb for a series that struggles to be mentioned in the same breath as Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy.
>No, or there would be alot more of them. Which brings about the question of how Edna and Eizen are related by blood.
They aren't, they are very similar that's why they consider each others as siblings.
> Things are getting better but I'm wondering how much longer I'm going to have to be patient for.
Just learn japanese, they'll never care about us like they care about Japan.
So when will bamco break from its gaijin hating ways? As soon as spoilers are out, the hype is dead or dying down in japan by the time the west gets a copy. Is there not a single businessman who didn't take a minute to look from his paper work to see weebs thirstily trying to get a copy? I can understand in the 90's and early 00's, but anime is much bigger now. I've heard of news reports for cons even.
Question about that. Do we know what episode we're even on? I know it's episode three, but I've seen some websites refer to episode one as "episode zero," which, if they're correct, means we're only on episode two.
I suppose it would have a lot to do with their production timeline and at what point they send the game out for the localization. First they have to get the game registered as a trademark so they can market it (in the US at least, can't speak for other countries). They use third-party services to do the English text and transcripts and then a casting service for the voices and that all takes time to arrange on top of the time spent actually translating, editing, and dubbing. Then they have to test the game for possible new bugs introduced before getting certified for release on the console of choice, which takes a month by itself. This on top of licensing for song usage outside of Japan (possibly getting a new version of the opening theme just for the international release), setting up the marketing, and coordinating with distributors.
From the looks of it they send the game out for localization when it's released in Japan, maybe coordinating the terms of service between themselves and the third parties then giving them a copy on release. To do a simultaneous global release you have to have all of that stuff done in tandem with the native language production. It's a massive undertaking now that I look at it... certainly a company the size of Squeenix has the resources to do it. Bamco's Tales team? Probably not.
We're actually on episode 4, but it's labeled episode 3
We get Berseria in episode 6, but it'll be labeled episode 5
Don't think too hard about it, we had an episode 0 as a prologue and thus we've gotten one more episode than the episode listed
This. As a hardcore fujo who played the game solely for Sorey/Mikleo, there is literally nothing in the game that confirms their relationship is romantic. It's all reading in between the lines.
It was a few weeks late, but yes. Mostly coincidence though: "Preliminary work for Tales of Vesperia began in 2005 during the later development stages of Tales of the Abyss, which released that year. Due to the success of Abyss, Vesperia was initially planned as a title for the PlayStation 2. However, upon seeing the projected lifespan of sixth-generation consoles, the executives at Namco Bandai informed the team that Abyss would be the last Tales title of that generation. In addition to this, the team felt limited by the previous generation's hardware. In response, they decided to make the next flagship installment on next-generation hardware. At the time when a platform was chosen, the PlayStation 3 had yet to be shown to the company and the Xbox 360 was highly popular in the west, so they settled on the latter."
Basically they wanted a next-gen presence but they hadn't seen what the PS3 was capable of yet while the Xbox360 was already established and popular. Developing for the 360 meant developing with Westerners in mind from the get-go. So it can be done, but it's a huge financial risk. I'm assuming that the fact that they haven't done the same process since means that it was too troublesome for the cost, despite the apparent success.
His dub voice is better than his sub voice and you can't prove me wrong
Damn, Mikleo is pretty tiny compared to Sorey. Not just in height but in shoulder/waist width and the like. No wonder nips depict him as a girl so often
>bad RPG grinding
Tales fights are usually fast paced and fun to play because there are so many different moves and artes to master.
But i heared ToZ's fights are literally "fuse with blond boy and forget every other character or move exists" so yeah, dunno about that...
I don't know any goddamn thing about this franchise but can someone express in 30 words or less just how mad people will be if this edgy cuteness will end up nibbling on Sorey's lovemushroom by the end?
That's true, the seraphim are fucking weak as shit on their own so there's pretty much nothing to do other than fuse and spam the same shit over and over again. Shit sucked, and the camera angles were even more atrocious when playing multiplayer.
Is it just me or are the characters really bland in zestiria ? The only 2 characters that jump out are Zavied and Edna.
The only other thing noteworthy is the homo otp.
Also there is a severe lack of edna in this thread
If you don't git gud, then yeah ToZ fights require you to use the seraphim as a crutch. Usually it's Mikleo because his kamui moveset is designed to stunlock or AOE from afar, and its trigger heal is a free elixir. However going by pure damage output, Lailah's kamui is more broken because its spell casting animation triggers faster than an enemy can interrupt so you can AOE in the middle of a group, and there are spells and accessories you can use to astronomically boost fire damage. Her heal just really really sucks.
If you're good enough you don't need to kamui at all unless you're trying to keep your HP up. At that point you're playing like the AI though...
it's because of the art style, the player base is mostly male, but the boys are handsome/pretty due to the main artist being a former mangaka, notice that the series that don't use his art are significantly less popular than the ones that due.
Legendia is a prime example of a tales game that despite being just as shit as xillia and zestiria wasn't able to push as much merch.
They're doing a good job fixing that for the anime.
I vaguely remember seeing a rather sad 1 page comic featuring these two posted a couple times on 4chan a long while back but I can't seem to find it anymore. I know that's a very shitty vague description but would anyone happen to know or have it? I think it had no dialogue but I don't remember very well.
>very close siblings
I don't get the 'sibling vibe' at all but they have the relationship between that of soulmates. Very pure yet not exactly romantic. Doesn't help that the localization took some nuances from their relationship.
If you don't look for various skits, you wouldn't find anything as romantic proof. But putting those into consideration (Mikleo wanting to tell Sorey something but deciding not to in NG+, them both saying they like someone but won't tell Zaveid, etc) the evidence is there.
It's just not explicit enough in the main story, as ironically their relationship is not all that developed in game.
See, proved my point. Most people didn't unlock or even know of the existence of the majority of Zestiria skits because of how poorly implemented they were. This one in particular is easy to miss.
In NG+, Sorey and Mikleo can travel back to Elysia in the beginning of the game. A scene will be triggered where they're talking alone on a hill. Sorey asks Mikleo what he wanted to tell him and Mikleo says he forgot, but he'll tell him 'next time', implying it's after Sorey wakes up.
Zestiria had like the least post-game content in a Tales game so yeah, that's true. Not to mention, the localization was kind of all over the place with the puns and jokes.
The skits themselves are honestly not worth the effort of unlocking anyway. They're boring as fuck.
Mikleo says that he wants to say something to Sorey and they go to Izuchi. While they're looking over the cliff they reminiscence about their journey. Then Sorey asks about what Mikleo says that he'll tell Sorey later (when Sorey wakes up) and Sorey promises that's he'll be there (promising to return to Mikleo).
It's no wonder Sorey and Mikleo are the main protags, they're both literally too pure for the world. Though in a world where you're better off dead as soon as you doubt yourself or think bad thoughts it fits.
Sorey doesn't make any promises, he just says "Some other time?" and Mikleo responds "Some other time." You're supposed to watch this event and feel sad knowing the "some other time" won't be coming for hundreds of years(or ever, from the characters' point of view). I'll be surprised if Bamco produces any followup to what Mikleo was actually going to tell him.
This. There's no content that makes NG+ worth playing and the skits are worse than Vesperia/Xillia.
Keep in mind that said event only happens after Sorey tells Mikleo that he plans to use his body as a vessel for Maotelus. The both off them know that "some other time" has to be after Sorey wakes up.
This event only comes up after you've beaten the game once, so it's only to reference the fact that Mikleo will tell Sorey something when he wakes up in a hundred years.
What that something actually IS is suggestive, given that there's not much Mikleo could tell him later that he felt like he couldn't tell him then.
We'll never know though, obviously.
In the scene where Sorey tells Mikleo his plan for Maotelus, they also mention that it could take a very long time if it even works at all, and there's no guarantee what might happen. So in the post-game scene when they say "some other time/next time", they're saying it with the knowledge that there might not be a next time for a long while if ever. The focus of the scene isn't on what Mikleo wanted to tell Sorey, but whether, after all they've been through, if Sorey will be around to hear it. It's effectively a farewell scene.
Though the farewell gets ruined since by that point we've already seen the after-credits Eternal Dream cutscene.
I wouldn't call it farewell scene either, since in balcony scene the two of them make it very clear that they plan to win and that Sorey will wake up they don't know how long it'll take.
It's better to call it a promise since he's not really saying goodbye he's effectively giving Sorey an incentive to not only code back but also to remember him. If you look as a promise and not as a farewell then it goes perfectly with the final epilogue where Sorey catches Mikleo.
>Though the farewell gets ruined since by that point we've already seen the after-credits Eternal Dream cutscene.
Yeah I got the feeling that this scene was supposed to happen in the main playthrough rather than postgame. Probably right before Heldalf invaded Elysia because the camera panning around a field of dead soldiers while the bros jerk about their adventure together was pretty kek
>tfw my favorite characters are the villains(true heroes).
God Generals has better character development.
I guess I like Luke because he shares my name and
I have long hair too.Asch came off as mature when you didn't know much but the way he treated Luke was rather immature.
Asch only appears to mature at first glance but the more you find out about the more you realize that he's an even bigger brat than long haired Luke.
First of all the only reason why he wants to stop Van isn't because he he's against him, but rather because Van was going to create a world of replicas. If not for that then Asch would have gladly gone along with Van.
Then there's his whole "that Replica took my life sthick" at the beginning you feel sorry for him, but in reality there's really nothing to feel sorry for. Asch could have easily have taken back his life, if he wanted to, and is even given a chance to do just that in the actual game. In fact it might work out better for Luke and Asch since everyone in the manor would rather have Asch than his replica and Luke would be happier living with Guy in Malkuth. However, Asch chooses not to return not because he's been replaced (he hasn't) not because isn't wanted (he is), but rather because he doesn't want to. In reality Asch is choosing not the return however he just wants to blame everything on Luke, when it's really Asch's choice to stay away.
If you pay attention to the things Asch says you'll realize that he really doesn't make any sense, which is part of why Guy doesn't like him.
Same. Reversing them would also be fine.
They were laying it on a bit thick there
Gotta admit I agree with Guy's frustration with Asch, every time Asch is around he's throwing a pity party for himself. Though Guy's dislike of Asch may also come from the fact that Asch is just like Duke Fabre, and Duke Fabre is a grade A asshole.
>Cheria not so much
I thought she was
It's been a while since I played, I just remember she left somewhat early never to rejoin because I remember I played as her as soon I could but unfortunately did not get to explore her playstyle for very long. I remember it at least happening in the first half of the game though.
Oh wait, I think I remember now, she first leaves for a really long time somewhat early in the game and then she comes back for a bit before the Maltran stuff and then leaves forever right?
Yeah, I was confusing her leaving forever with the part where she leaves for quite a while in the beginning. After the Maltran stuff she's gone though. It was a shame because I kinda liked battling with her spear but didn't get to do it much.
Wouldn't be as good.
I kind of like Sorey's outfit here, Mikleo's doesn't seem as great. Honestly I'm not sure why people go about trying to radically change it when it isn't hyper masculine in the first place.
>next episode is Lunarre rematch and Lailah
Also my guesses for the episodes for cour 1 of the series. Anybody else have thoughts on what it would look like?
>4. Fire Armatization and Water Armatization
>5. Rountabel Palace and Zaveid
>6. Edna and Eizen
>8. Drake at Marlind
>9. War Part 1
>10. War Part 2
>11. Rose and Dezel Part 1
>12. Rose and Dezel Part 2
I'm happy about what the anime is doing with Lunarre.
Her personality type always irks me. The motherly childhood friend type is usually just a nuisance with how they nag and get offended at "gross" things. Cheria was better than I expected, and it was nice that she definitively won the Asbelb owl (overcoming his density was no small feat), but the rest of the cast was so much better. I think Pascal having fun at her expense made her tolerable.
To be honest, I love the Graces cast. They don't do well on their own but their skits and end-of-battle scenes were some of the best.
Somehow I doubt that we'll get the elemental trials at all, they've already confirmed that the series isn't going to a straight adaptation of Zestiria, they are changing things to suit themselves so likely>>144431636
isn't going to happen.
Too bad, those trials were really just filler anyway, no reason for them to be in the adaptation. We already know that they're changing the first introduction to the assassins so that they're more antagonistic. So Rose has to be introduced to the party in a different manner.
>get offended at "gross" things
I liked that about her.
Pascal seems nice too.
Yeah Lunarre's introduction and character were much better handled this time around.
Though with Lunarre acting the way he is, and with us seeing the assassin's guild be more antagonistic, I wonder how Rose's character will be introduced? Because it seems as though Velvet really will be interacting with Sorey and the group more.
I think at least there should've been some lines here
I meant romantically, Sorey would be interested in what she'd have to say because she's a time traveler. Mikleo would be interested in her for the same reason. Lailah and her would be interested in her because she predates Shepherds and malevolence, Alisha would be interested in her from a religious stand point, and Edna and Zaveid because she used to travel with Eizen.
In other words the entire cast sans Rose and maybe Dezel would be interested in her.
I think she actually ends up meeting with Sorey before they meet Rose, in fact Rose seems to be an enemy when they first run into Velvet. Considering the rumors of her showing up in episode 4 when Rose is attacking Alisha again.
If you stop to think about her bullshit is essentially doing nothing but causing problems for the heroes and generally being a hindrance. Though I wonder with the inclusion of Velvet and Alisha it satisfies the need to have another human in the mix, which means that the group doesn't need Rose, and seemingly has no real reason to be thankful to her either.
Now if they acknowledge this then it'll be a big step in the right direction.
Call me crazy but I actually prefer Zestiria's school uniforms.

Seriously why is Eizen so hot and how is red eye not Zaveid 2.0? Everything about his design says womanizer and his constant grin makes him come off as the male sex appeal. But Eizen is ridiculously attractive.
Tales of Mikleo's Ancestors Fucking Shit Up the Sequel
Mikleo's family member are all brunettes. Mikleo also probably never had silver hair originally.
He doesn't in game Artorius is blonde, Muse and Michael were both brunettes.
Mikleo confirmed for endboss of
To compare here's Muse. Furthermore you can tell from their eyes, if his eyes aren't purple then he's of no relation to Mikleo.
This is anime son, that shit doesn't matter here. Mikleo, Muse, and Michael don't look in the least bit like Artorius, your theory is just a wild guess and wishful thinking.
Yeah that was confirmed a long time ago.
Only if he and everyone around him truly believes he is a girl. Otherwise he is denying reality and will generate malevolence instead
just like real life
