Different sports, combat styles, physical activities, etc require their own unique muscle build to be efficiently executed.

I don't think people understand his flaws are honestly real for what is happening. I will say they are a bit exaggerated, but Subaru as a character is not terrible. He is a lot better than a Mary Sue, and he isn't a shitty character for being spaghetti all the time.

He is at least slowly learning from everything, and once it gets through his thick skull i think he will be a good character.

There seems to be a whole lot of offscreen time where he's just resting and shit and he seems fine. He's not working, he's pretty much just either dying horrible or heading somewhere to die horribly but most of the time he's either with Rem or similar adorable beauties before dying and watching them die.
He's not exactly fighting a war, can't really get that great at killing, and the thing that seems to bother him the MOST was the fight with emilia as he flashbacked to that this episode before going for the footlick.
He's having a much easier time then I think we would believe, even though he seems extremely emotionally affected in many scenes where dark shit is going on he recovers quickly enough.
Given the spoilers for his future performance, I think its fair to say that he's used to it. He's gone beyond suffering, its all just scar tissue at this point.

Subaru's main issue is failing to see things from another person's perspective. Notice how he calls all the other candidates cunts for not helping him out without even putting himself in their shoes. He's gotten arrogant due to being able to get a happy ending a few times and now thinks everything works out because of him, but to everyone else he's just a bystander that helped out a bit.

He needs to realise that people won't give him any credit for most of the shit he does since they have no way of knowing just how much he's done to help out, or what he's suffered through.

Regardless, I'll give the writers props for making a character who's personality becomes worse as the series goes on instead of the other way around. If the execution was done better, Subaru definitely would turn out to be one of the more realistic MCs.

I really was enjoying this in the beginning but now the whole dying to fix every problem is getting old. Also the way it is written is really cheap too. Everyone tells him straight up what he did wrong so next time he dies he knows what to do without giving it a thought. Let me try and guess that next time he tells Crusch he makes sure he says he wants to save Emilia, he won't kiss Priscilla's feet and he will be an impenetrable wall and the Whatshername purple hair girl won't be able to take information from him while also making sure he has something to trade for their support.
