For Drrr!! iirc the yakuza don't come out on the bottom in the end, they get a couple of their lower level boys killed but in the end beyond firing a couple shots into the name plate at the front door, Mikado didn't do much shit at all. And the yakuza along with Akabayashi are always portrayed as cunning and losing men to either internal strife or to other serious threats and never once are they shown as benign threat.
