1) Who actually created those orphans and widows in the first place?

Supreme being search squad is summoned by the Ainz and PA, don't know what happens with that nip anon didn't say.

Slane diplomat went to the arena for the meeting disguised has a healer, just has he arrives Ainz teleports to the Arena for his recruitment drive.

Some dialog between Ainz and PA:

Ainz: "All the other NPC's are like my children as well, if your life and their life hang on the balance I will choose their lives first"

PA: "Yes father, if it comes to that please sacrifice me first"

With only 18 volumes, I doubt the author will show any opposing army in the other continents unless he doesn't show some countries, and even so it would still be rushed. I think the only real threat Nazarick will face is Rubedo. PDL and ZZ don't look that strong when compared to the level 100 beings in Nazarick, so unless they have a special skill, I doubt they can be put as a real threats.

I am liking the art of this manga much more than I thought I would.
The first time I saw the manga I had something of a kneejerk reaction from it being different from the novel art, but now that I actually take a good look at it I am starting to like it.
