2) Only buy the fig if you like the character.

Try comic book stores in Orlando. They may or may not have anime stuff. As dreadful as they are to suggest HotTopic, FYE, and other entertainment stores might carry anime goods. Barnes and Noble and possibly Books-A-Million may have some stuff. Mind you I last visited that store in 2006, and haven't really kept up if another has replaced it.
