Reading the manga and I have two questions

How the fuck do these fingers move when literally nothing is connecting them to the arm except two door hinges? It looked like they had a lever to clench the fist and that was just forgotten about. It's like, a lot of things about medieval life are surprisingly well thought out and then you just got this magic robot hand.

How the fuck did Inuyasha get so much funding for hundreds of episodes and Berserk didn't?

Officially, he doesn't move them. They tell you about the magnet and how he can't move the fingers, hence the scene where Caska falls to the water in the latest chapters and Guts can't catch her with the robot arm.
In the manga, Guts does stuff with the fingers like giving a "come at me" handsign, but it's more for cool effect than an actual plot point. Maybe he just shakes the hand to move the fingers with the momentum but it's far-fetched.
Something interesting is that in the Berserk armor, he can move his fingers with magic.

I don't think it's the slow framerate that is the problem, but rather that it's too fast. It seems more like its animated for 60+ frames and then halved it, when it should've been animated with 30 frames in mind.
