I dropped it for this reason the first time when it was airing. Then I saw threads for seasond two and I got into it. At first, I was confused and appalled by the display put on. Can they really do this? Is this really ok? There's no way this is entertaining right?
Then the self-judgements and doubt slowly began to fade. I had nothing left to criticize, and slowly I began to understand the nature of the show I was watching. They aren't even trying. Well they are, but not it a real way. Its not art, its not fun, its just an amalgamation of a bunch of anime type characters reflecting upon the nature of themselves. Its meta-humor at its finest because its not even trying to be meta, it SIMPLY IS
meta.
And that when I started laughing and enjoying it.
Season 4 when. Season 4 fucking when.

I went into this show thinking "Surely I've watched worse, how bad could it be?".
The OP sold the entire show to me. Once I realised they were ad-libbing part of the show I fell in love.
One of those shows where it just gets better as you go as everyone gets ever more comfortable with one another and the characters they've somehow moulded through their inane babble.
