Will anyone record the screen on Amazon or send screenshots?
Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress #1 staff:
Tetsuro Araki, Tetsuaki Watanabe, Hiroyuki Tanaka
Chief Animation Director:
Takuya Saito, Kyouhei Tezuka, Yasuyuki Ebara, Hirotaka Marufuji
Kawano Tatsurou, Kyouhei Tezuka, Takuma Ebisu, Futoshi Suzuki, Miho Kato, Takaaki Chiba, Katsuhiko Kitada, Yasuyuki Ebara, Kou Yoshinari, Tetsuya Takeuchi, Hironori Tanaka, Megumi Kouno, Norio Matsumoto, Bahi JD, Yutaka Nakamura, Honoka Kosaka, Emi Nitta
It's obviously bullshit.
>Tetsuya Takeuchi, Hironori Tanaka, Megumi Kouno, Norio Matsumoto, Bahi JD, Yutaka Nakamura
It's unlikely you'd ever see these names in a WIT production.
So different people are saying different things. Is this airing globally on prime in 2 hours, or just japan?
Everywhere I am reading says amazon has global rights, but they have literally nothing on their page.
I'll stream it if it is global.
>Arguing with Sawano drones
He can make an album filled with German gibberish and they would still suck his dick
I dont dislike Sawano aside from fact he keeps rehashing himself worse than Kajiura. I can even understand it, since thats what producers likely demand from him since it sells.
Its all tracks in the particular video have no bit of appeal and originality. Even KlK and A/Z, while suffering from the same, managed to produce some awesome tracks.
This however is not Zombie Loan, Unicorn or even Guilty Crown level - but rather uninspired Seraph/SnK ost
>KLK is his absolute worst.
Nah. Aldnoah takes the cake.
I don't remember anything from that. KLK was just pretty mediocre.
>Ao no Exoricist
He used to have some range.
I barely even count Owari no Seraph when talking about his OSTs. I don't really consider it bad though because he wasn't really trying to make it sound like him to begin with. It didn't have any blaring vocal tracks but it still fit with the show, functioning as a basic OST you would find anywhere else.
Besides a few like Light your heart up and Before my body is dry, KLK was just completely unpleasing to listen to entirely. A lot of the songs in it just felt like rough noise that is even worse than the average dubstep song.
Mess around with the options in the lower right.
>People waiting 2 and a half years for this shit
And the detail put into every character? God damn the first ep was beautiful.
Also how did MC cure himself at the end there? I thought he was gonna try amputating his arm but then he just kinda like hangs himself.
It made everything look like a muddy mess,
> amazing backgrounds
> sheer quantity of different locations?
Edo Japan and train stations...wow
Here comes the WITfags
>It made everything look like a muddy mess
How's it feel to be fucking blind? God Eater looked like a muddy mess with its terrible attempt at shading. Kabaneri on the other hand handles the shading extremely well.
>God Eater looked like a muddy mess
Nah GE had a style that wasn;t trying to imitate MUH 80's shading. And it looked really unique as a result. This is desperately trying to capture that feel and its failing badly due to the digital effects not blending well at all.
WIT fags sure are delusional
>Hard to judge when you don't understand what's going on,
Unless youre fucking stupid the episode was pretty rudimentary and easy to follow
>but the art was A+
>First time in a while when I don't mind the CG.
Oh nevermind you're just a retard
>Kabaneri on the other hand handles the shading extremely well.
I liked it, but I still think Sunrise's Studio 1 does it much better.
Some animators seem to miss that having three layers of shading with clear and very thin border lines is not that beautiful.
I tried to record the whole thing on my phone but the result is prettry bad.
I'm sure some of you want a screenshot of this scene
In the most honest opinion no biases and shitposting, was it really a SnK rip off? More importantly was the episode good?
Loving the shading and the thick lines
>I tried to record the whole thing
>on my phone
>The script is almost the same as AoT Episode 1
>Yes it was good.
Also hooray, Yutapon is there
Yup. We barely saw her, that's a shame.
Isn't here anyone who watched it without trying to compare it with AoT? The script and the vibe where almost the same (for episode 1), but the atmosphere, the designs, they were different and more enjoyable. And no I don't like WIT as a studio.
>but the atmosphere, the designs, they were different and more enjoyable.
I recommend you this season to watch Hundred. Must be really fresh and exciting for you. Your capacity to not make comparisons and enjoy things you already seen seems to be exceptional.
>and have no clue what it was about
You don't need subs for this
>MC is on a ride
>Ride gets attacked by Kabaneri who have infested the entire land
>while his comrades fight and die to survive he tests his own weapon
>fails and gets frustrated
>they show how people transform into Kabaneri and how they suicide
>MC arrives at the town
>They kill some innocent wounded guy to show how scared everyone is - Nobody is taking any risks because Kabaneri are dangerous
>MC gets arrested for trying to save the guy and hiding Kabaneri parts that he wanted to steal to test his weapons on
>Ojou-sama is apparently some important clan member
>Twintail loli is important as well and seems to like the MC or atleast thinks he is interesting
>New train arrives loaded with Kabaneri and the retards are too slow to stop it
>Train crashes the wall protecting the city
>City is now filled with Kabaneri
>Everyone is dying and the population is looking for the trains to abandon the place
>Meanwhile the MC breaks out and hurts himself in order to attract Kabaneri with his blood
>He baits one and uses his weapon on it to test it
>Test succeeds - Kabaneri dies
>But he was bitten and is already in the process of becoming a Kabaneri
>Somehow he tries to strangle himself in order to either save himself or commit suicide
>This results into his ass getting saved for some reason and the infection goes away
End of the episode
Dont worry, Its Ookuchi after all.
At some point there will be major reveal its actually sequel to Guilty Crown, where earth was infected with zombie virus and degraded in technology, with few survivors.
Survivors discover the only way to fight Kabaneri, is to become Space Vampires and use power of Geass to command them.
I already watched the finale, seeing Unicorn becoming a fucking crystal robot messiah was hilarious and watching Banagher coming back from his trip to bring understanding to the universe because Riddhe said he'd steal his GF was even more so.
Well at least this is going to attract all the shitposters.
So the general outcome seems to suggest this wasn't a good episode.
I'll give it a go but if what you guys are saying doesn't seem like I'll stick around to the end.
No official simulcast hurts too
less thatn 300 posts since no one cares about it. So far all Kabaneri threads consisted solely of some WIT acolites fervently defending their newest work against heretical scepticism.
NoOnly 300 post cause it hasn't actually aired for us, and 80% of the post are from people like you who sit on the edge of their seat waiting for the episode, you're more excited to hate on it than the fanboys.
>No, it seems like it was a great episode
>you're an idiot for taking them seriously.
If the majority are saying it was shit I'm going to take their word over the one guy saying it was good.
>More importantly was the episode good?
Depends. It looked like it rely on watching episode to episode to fully appreciate it. The first episode felt too weak to stand on its own.
I don't understand why Japan spends so much on OPs and EDs. For fuck sake, just put more effort in the episode instead of a commercial for a CD, which won't gain any more copies by getting a good or bad video.
The ending is at least tolerable. The Opening is a fucking joke. Not only one of the worst Gundam openings I've heard in a while but one of the worst openings period. Any time his lyrics are in English it's just a mess of noise and poor timing.
Because they set a mood for the show and contribue greatly to actual perception of it. (well, when they arent complete shit placed by Lantis to promote new cringeworthy artist)
>Because they set a mood for the show and contribue greatly to actual perception of it
They can achieve the same making them cheap like American TV shows'. They have to pay the computer guy, not a whole team of animators.
300 posts discussing the absolute quality or pure shitness for a show most people haven't even seen the first episode of yet. I know that /a/ is fully dedicated to it's daily shitposting regimen but this is just getting sad and desperate now. Can't you people wait one more day to turn the shitposting levels up to 11.
Wow actual listenable Sawano OP. It's going to get retardedly overrated but at least it's tolerable and it seems like he finally at long last figured out proper mixing and that the singer doesn't need to just be constantly wailing throughout the whole number. The cut just looks like scenes from the show though.
Yeah. Seems more of a stylistic choice.
I mean people already could watch three episodes in japanese theaters so i guess if they are done with that much they should also have a real finished OP lying around somewhere.
>I mean people already could watch three episodes in japanese theaters so i guess if they are done with that much they should also have a real finished OP lying around somewhere.
Are you for real or just pretending to be retarded?
>R-r-r-r-r-r-ratings don't matter
>and you should also check the ratings.
as much as i liked egoist and supercell, this is shit OP, cringy as fuck, it sounds like a mixed shit.
sawano and aimer that we keep hearing in PV in parts though.. that might turn out good.
i dont think they finished the op yet, but i kinda get what the other anon was saying about the OP, i especially cringe when the vocalist try to "fit in long words" during the song, and it sounds too random and garbled for me, but eh you liked it thats all that matters no?
>The episodes will be available each week exclusively to Prime Video customers the day after each episode premieres in Japan, and Prime Video customers in Japan will also get to stream the first episode of each series prior to the linear broadcast.
KOITO A BEST
Wow, that was fucking amazing. Incredible start. Also very good MC he isn't reactionary like most, they introduce him engaging in an action his passionate about, unlike for example the MC from re:zero who is a recontionary character, reacting to what ever absurd circumstance the writers want, in his case magically appearing in an mmo
Nah, he said that he got inspired by MuvLuv and that he got the idea for the titans from his part time job in a bar where got treated like shit by drunk people regulary. Those drunk people became the titans.
TV raws come out tomorrow.
No idea about subs.
The announcement said the subs come out one day after Japan got the show but they didn't mention if the TV release or Amazon release counts.
>mfw people actually believe this staff list especially the KA
Be careful with your words, Anon. You might summon the Bones Cop.
He's probably on this thread shitposting anyway.
They barely have any content and have done themes for like 3 anime series as of now, all just Aniplex stuff. It just seems like Sony shills doing their usual thing since they think Aimer is some sort of god singer of anime too all of a sudden when literally she's just a plugin for Aniplex anime as well and hasn't done very much either.
I'd probably put Egoist slightly above Aimer though, both are as you say just kind of okay though and pretty knew to the anison scene so not much to draw from. Would really need to hear more than just a few theme songs from each. I mean people go on and on about the quality of their vocals as if they've been in the industry as established artists for decades and are living legends but I just haven't heard enough of either to really form an opinion other than their public profile seems ridiculously bloated for how little they've actually contributed to the scene.
Not sure what's sadder? WITfag acting smug or a WITfag trolling
Aimer and Egoist feel more like memes than anything somehow. It's like somebody somewhere said they were super awesome and enough people repeated it on twitter or something so now everyone just says it because it's the trendy thing to do.
>WITfag posting WITshit anime reaction image
Just someone here is trying very hard to force some sort of fanbase war. And this show doesn't even have a fanbase yet.
Boku no Hero is just a popular target because Sakugafags suck BONES dick regulary and its also a popular shonen adaption.
Besides that there is no other target.
Script, the same? Similarities are obvious to an extent, but that's an exaggeration.
Protagonist has a different personality from Eren's. He was working on a cure or counter-measure for the infection, but he gets both briefly imprisoned and biten almost right away.
Kabane also seem to work better as a group than most Titans.
Shit taste. The episode 1 was better than snk episode 1 if we are going to compare them. Also fans who hate on it cause WIT studio. If you can't enjoy the damn episode, then don't watch it. If you dislike the studio then don't watch any of their series. Shitposters like you thinking that hating on an anime is the most important thing. Go shitpost on an anime UT deserves it. We don't even have subs yet.
>The episode 1 was better than snk episode 1 if we are going to compare them
What's your problem everyone? And what if it is a spinoff of AoT? If you are not a shit, you can enjoy it without thinking like this. But I guess that's too much to ask from shitposters like you. How sad. You spend your time insulting an anime. And now you will call me whatever comes to your mind to feel better. Ok, you waste your time that's for sure.
I'm honestly quite excited for this. AoT was prety gud but it didn't wow me. Plus it became normie shit. I hope this does though. The idea of giant armoured trains barreling through a wasteland is pretty damn cool.
>Owari no Seraph
Nah. Sengoku Basara was probably his worst. Seraph is actually pretty great. Overall I feel like there's more feeling put into the Seraph OST compared to A/Z's.
>Sengoku Basara was probably his worst. Seraph is actually pretty great. Overall I feel like there's more feeling put into the Seraph OST compared to A/Z's.
Jesus fuck that shit fucking taste
...right. Because Basara literally has only one or two songs that stand out among all of Sawano's discography when his other anime soundtracks are much more iconic. Basara is literally the typical Sawano shit that everyone's tired of listening to.
>more than one people can respond to a post
Yes. There was nothing that came even close.
>Because Seraph literally has only one or two songs that stand out among all of Sawano's discography when his other anime soundtracks are much more iconic. Seraph is literally the typical Sawano shit that everyone's tired of listening to.
Literally didn't give a shit about the show until I saw how much hate and retarded shitposting it's getting now. I hope it's the best seller of the season and is a huge success. Shitposters always deserve the exact opposite thing they want to happen.
Some simple praise beyond the amazing animation, world detail and building is the MC.
Easily the best MC for 2016 so far simply because he is an Active MC.
Most writer suck and can only write reactionary mc like re:zero and stray dogs for example. The mc isn't really doing anything and then something happens to him blah blah hi jinks ensue.
In this case we open up it Ikoma actively pursuing something, he's making a weapon to save his world. his actions are clear and respectable, and most importantly he's pationate about it. This alone makes him 100x more interesting to watch since he is active and constantly moving the story directly surrounding him. Something like luring a kabane with his own blood for example.
It's great so far.
>the amazing animation, world detail and building is the MC.
>Easily the best MC for 2016 so far simply because he is an Active MC.
