Who would have guessed we were on the Satoru x Yashiro route the whole time.
Yashiro is best girl, he waited the 15 years in pain for his waifu
>s-sensei best girl
>i'm ship sensei and satoru because
>no! misato best girl!
let's laugh at kayotards control damage
if you're an author and your story starts with an inexplicable (even by the shows universes rules) plot device you should know you're a fucking shit author.
this author didn't
here's how it should have ended
they both kill themselves off the roof
then satoru wakes up in his 1988 little boy body in a hospital bed, surrounded by his mom and his friends
they tell him the teacher dived in to save him but lost his life in the process
then he lives a happy childhood life and grows up alongside kayo
Friendly reminder that Sensei tapped Satoru when he was comatose
How was Okabe able to retain his memories when he time traveled and why did he had those visions? It's a chinese cartoon don't think too much
So now that the dust has sieved, can we all agree that Sensei did literally nothing wrong? If anything, the Japanese system is in the wrong for failing to support his mental illness during childhood.
Was right with you up until
He already got cucked. There's no going back to kayo now.
Honestly just end it after the two of them die. Perhaps show the miserable faces of the faggots who got to have a childhood thanks to him.
If they tried to explain what causes time travel then you faggots would get nitpicky and say it was stupid.
It's better left unexplained rather than trying to apply some retarded and impossible science shit.
>kayofags now turned to sensei's side now that pixiv has their backs
What was the fucking point of giving him a whole mechanic of time traveling 5 minutes into the past if they NEVER FUCKING USE IT?
They should have just said "here's a guy with a boring life, one day he gets framed for murder and INEXPLICABLY TIME TRAVELS FOR MAGICAL REASONS"
DESU I had completely forgotten she existed until this scene, she needed more development.
RIP SatoruXKayo and SatoruXMisato
No, it would've been better if the author realized that he's too retarded to write a story and just stopped right there, because both with explained and unexplained time travel it would be equally retarded
Why is Kayo waiting for Satoru irrealistic, yet there's no problem with him randomly meeting Airi again in fucking Tokyo?
This show is choke-full of asspulls, no wonder the shippers are having a field day.
The supernatural is a valid plot device. You may not like it, but 'goes back in time when someone near him dies' is valid since it doesn't break his own rules. Someone dies, he goes back to when he could fix it until they don't die. That's why the ending of episode 1 had such great impact because it took that simple idea of a super power and took it to an extreme.
I will not be ashamed of being a Kayotard, they spent so much fucking time on their relationship and they just had to go and throw it out the window, at least make her bang Kenya instead of the Guy-girl.
I think it was just somewhere close to where she lived
Satoru obviously knew the place and it seems like it's close to his office so it's probably not the first time he went there
>what do you know about real literature anyway
Literature is inherently better than manga
>15 years worth of people he saved in the first timeline are now dead because he went back to save a few people that cucked him
>tfw my 3 favorite books are in low tier
Because it's easier to believe in fate than it is to believe in a human.
>Ulysses that high
>Catch-22 that low
>no Infinite Jest
>Huck Finn instead of Tom Sawyer
>No Catcher in the Rye
Right in the trash desu
>What's so great about the great gatsby?
It is THE best written American novel of all time
catch 22, one hundred years of solitude, and notes from underground are good books
Post the high-res at least.
No it doesn't, it's some freak thing that this one character we're aware of is able to do. The story is told from his perspective. Why would he know the mechanics of it? He wouldn't. If he did that would be terrible ass pullery and make it even worse as an actual distraction since then everyone would be arguing about how it wouldn't work.
Waits 15 long years for Satoru and both admit to filling each others holes
Is this the greatest love story of all time?
>They didn't show Kumi post-operation after the timeskip.
Would have been better if they ended it with Satoru talking with Kenya on the roof instead of random airi appearance.
Shit literature is garbage too,. Twilight and Hunger Games are literature.
Comparing two different mediums also means you're probably too dumb to understand what makes them interesting.
>LMFAO HAHAHAHAHAHA KAYOTARDS YOUR TEARS ARE DELICIOUS!
kayo is literally the only reason anyone cared about this show
I actually liked the way this ended, it was satisfying. Pretty decent show, AOTS material.
Twilight and Hunger games aren't literature, they're genre fiction
know the difference
>you will never fill sensei's hole
Why even live
>this is what kayotards believe
I never stopped BELIEVING IN AIRI
Holy shit. I can't remember when was the last time a show fell apart so hard.
The first 4 episodes were fucking great. The atmosphere, animation and direction were all on point. But from then on, everything just started to feel cheap and rushed and got progressively worse with each episode. What the hell happened, was the latter half directed by a different person? Did they run out of time? And no, this has nothing to do with le cuck meme.
I rate it 2 Valvraves, because it actually started out good. I'm mad as fuck.
>friendship is the greatest strength of all!
I'm embarrassed for ever having high hopes for this series
so Kenya had time traveling powers too right?
Is it just me or has the teacher the best fanart on pixiv?
Nah, they were watching for the amazing myste...
Oh wait. Must be because of the romance with Ai... err...
The thematics? It's a show about... Murders and stuff. And helping people is nice, maybe.
There's characters and they do things. There! It's a character drama!
>1984 high tier
>Brave New World low tier
>tfw getting a taste of what it'll be like when jackie wins
Anime are only there to hurt us. I should have watched tv crap like everyone else when I was younger then I would probably be okay with this shitty real world, but it's too late now.
fucking stupid lazy shit
at the end of the epi it hints that cuckaroo didn't even know his friends had an inflatable for him to land on as if it were even possible in the first place. his belief was supposedly enough for this to happen.
yeah well I shouldn't have believed in this anime when it tricked me into thinking it'd be good for the first half
goddamn gay cuck daddy shit
Well he started as a lonely introverted manga artist with no real interpersonal relationships who lived with his mother and worked part time at a pizza place. After the jump he was a successful and outgoing manga artist with a close knit group of friends, so I would put friendship (along with the personal development that came with it) as a pretty big payoff. The experience made him feel alive again, without regrets.
>best character getting best fanart
I see nothing wrong here.
tfw your middle school sensei doesnt sneak into your room to shave your face
I'm not even that upset about the cucking. I actually got quite a chuckle out of it, still doesn't change the fact that everything else the series has to offer is poorly written garbage.
Why the fuck did Kayo get with Hiromi?
I understand Satoru was in a coma for 15 years, so she probably gave up all hope of him waking up after a while. But why didn't she get with Kenya instead?
Yuki's wife really took the bull by the horns.
Is fujo pandering the safest way to make a book or series popular?
I was kinda grumpy
All of her scenes got cut, and then she gets ass pulled into the ending anyway
This was the gayest scene ever
MARRY AND REPRODUCE
GOOD LITTLE OTAKU
RAISE A FAMILY
LOOK AT THIS CUTE GIRL NEXT TO CUTE BABY
Going to work in South Asia looked like a very bad idea for a non-offending pedo like Yuki, but he actually managed to stay away from underage pussies and got himself a legal one
Well done, Courage-kun
The ending was so fucking long and drawn out, it felt more and more inevitable that she'd show up out of nowhere right at the end.
She doesn't need to be important, apparently. Being a trophy is enough.
>being this retarded
This has nothing to do with your idiotic waifu wars. The overall quality of the show in episodes 1-4 is on a completely different level than the latter half. The use of camera angles, lighting, cinematography and sound is way above your typical TV anime. Compare that to episodes 5,6, 11 or 12 and they feel as if they were made by an entirely different team. Episode 12 in particular has subpar animation, bland shot composition, tons of reused scenes and amateurish direction. It was rushed as fuck.
>implying she'd even be smart/adept enough to use film better than digital at the young age of 17
>implying film is better than digital (neither are better)
>that incredibly pointless use of flash just to grab our attention as the audience
>inb4 she actually knows how to develop her film
it's pretty obviously not a digital DSLR because it would be bulkier and afaik, they didn't have digital cameras that looked like that (e.g. mirrorless) back in 2009. The first that comes to mind is the the Fuji X series which started in 2009
It's not about an explanation, it's about making some sense of it, without any kind of explanation it just felt cheap, like the author didn't know what to do with his story so he just thought "lol, time travel"
pretty much all the scenes in the past were fantastic, but the future scenes were just dumb
wasted potential, but it was ok
eight weeks ago I would have said 9
Yashiro was fucking garbage.
People who murder or do bad things then turn into a big cry a baby when someone talks about emotional stuff with them are the fucking worst.
8/10, Down hill after Sensei revealed episode.
Some episodes were great, some were mediocre. Then you have the last two episodes which were really awful, and I'm an Airifag so shut up.
The plot had some holes, sometimes it didn't make any sense but the show was memorable and I can't really hate it.
6 or a 7, probably 6.5 as well.
I enjoyed the manga as well, so I was really annoyed at everything they cut, but I was really satisfied with their altered ending. It made Satoru seem better off a lot better than the manga's ending, even without cancer-chan imouto.
Additionally, despite everything they cut, I thought that what they did adapt was adapted really well. Direction was definitely the strongest point of the anime.
You must master time travel powers and travel to the past to make Sanbe change his manga.
Saving the loli was some good shit and the animation quality was really great to see, but holy shit did the final act fall apart
The worst part was murder of the mother/senseis magical ability to frame other people for murders/coma/plotholes.
Airi was obvious romance option and best girl. The character design was pretty stellar. 8/10
>somebody missed work for the season finale of a shitty BL ntr series
Better tell my younger self to not bother with it and read something else.
I'll probably should make a whole list with the huge number of shit manga I'ver read falling apart at some points.
>yfw we were that close to sensei end
I actually thought they were gonna do it the madmen.
she literally dindu nuffin and existed only to shit on niggas who are into childhood romance
I never got around to reading the manga but I will give it a go after finishing the anime.
I must say though that after the 15 year time change the whole story went downhill pretty fast.
Still enjoyed it though.
I like both. The manga contained many scenes, even in volume 1, that weren't adapted so I just watched/read both and enjoy both.
>kayo will never drink a gallon of water wait an hour and unload all over me
Watch episode 3 again, the scene where Satoru finds Kayo in the shed. It's creepy, intense and animation is smooth as fuck. There's very little dialogue and yet it works.
Now watch scene on the roof in episode 12. Satoru slides around on the wheelchair, Yashiro just keeps standing there, the camera hardly moves, the VA's just keep yapping at each other with no emotion. There is nothing interesting visually. It feels bland and cheap. Not to mention they keep cutting to flashbacks.
People will deride source material and say the writing is shit. That doesn't matter, because the early episodes were able to trim any unneeded fat and focus on what was good. What makes this show such a letdown is supbar direction of latter episodes. Which is especially annoying because they have shown they can do much better than that.
On top of the roof, yashiro sees satoru get his memories back, throws him off the roof.
As satoru falls down, he catches a butterfly allowing him to do his FINAL revival, avoiding his death.
Brings him back to his childhood. Satoru has everybody saved but also is able to prevent himself getting into the coma and he also gets yashiro arrested because he now knows what to do.
Satoru lives out his life based on his inspirations, becoming a successful manga artist, having all of his friends, and also falling in love with kayo for his whole life.
This is the true ending. Not this bad ending chicken shit bullshit.
I was looking forward to tons of beautiful Kayo pics when the anime made this series more popular and now we'll never get anything but this fucker thanks to NTR and this gay end.
>everyone got a happy ending
>except the manager
>also falling in love with kayo for his whole life
That was uncle phil in search of another potencial vict-I mean persona user
The ending was pretty alright, kinda generic
Specially the part where they shoy Airi, like what the fuck? why would she "take shelter" with a stranger? it makes no sense, is that something people in japan do? no wonder why Yashiro had it so easy murdering people.
Well, atleast i can finally go and read the manga
I'm not even a fujo and can see this is easily the best pairing in the show.
What did he mean by this?
>yashiro shaving comatose satoru
A serial killed shouldn't be allowed to be this moe.
Honestly it's better that you don't know, means you do need sleeping aid.
I love her dumb face
is he anime jesus now?
How so? Not trying to shit on you, just curious about your thoughts. I just feel the manga had some good points post coma, like the blended narration scene but at the same time the camping scene wasn't that great to me.
I dont know what I expected
He did it two times as far as I remember. Once when Kayo was about to depart in her last 1988 scene and one time when Satoru was talking to him in the teacher's staff room but I am not sure which episode that was.
Yes, he is Japanese Time Traveling Jesus
>He was going to kill the cancer kid.
Do they have any evidence of that?
>He let Satoru fall.
He didn't push him. Maybe his arm got tired. I think a decent lawyer would get you free of that very easily.
Apart from having dinner at his house, they did nothing to deepen their relationship to justify his reaction to her
The facial expression really makes that bit.
I prefer Airi over Kayo. I don't call myself airifag because you shipperfag guys are cancerous as heck
The manga ending made sense since they shared a lot of moments together, but the same can't be said in the anime
The only one hat believed in him. Stay mad Kayocuck.
Only 3 threads on erased ?
Last week we had over 20 threads, that's a shame,i loved the shitpost.
I wanted to drop this but i finished it for the memes 2bh
>satoru saved all those little girls so they could become delicious cakes.
Truly a saint.
Does anyone in japan knows how laws work?
The fucking kid tried to jump from the roof
Sensei tried to stop it, then lets go
This is not murder or attempted murder...
Any lawyer would get him off easily
Yeah the god rays combined with his savant lines.
>You're alive because I am around.
>I've relived this life a number of times.
>You've murdered a number of my friends, Sensei.
>But right now, I bear you no hatred.
>In this world, the only person who knows the real you, is me.
did you see that glint when she was in the distance? That was Airi preparing her blade. Satoru is going to be the first victim in *her* murder spree since he was absent in her timeline. The blue butterfly signals he's about to die and time reset again.
And the cycle of death continues...
Maybe as some kind of letter Satoru reads, thinking it was left by his mother, while face revealing Yashiro after he is done reading it.
Or it being narrated in third person instead.
There are a few ways.
Underaged fags get triggered by cockblocking and waifu shit, not by anything else. Sensei could have raped Satoru and we still wouldn't have had more threads today unless it would have affected the Airi end.
She was attracted to satoru in the previous timeline, why wouldn't it be the same in this one.
That doesn't have anything to do with it. If she were the one that started to tear up when they met then it would be stupid and make no sense.
Because in this one she doesn't have the memories from the previous one, while he does. It's all sorts of fucked and stupid. She's basically a different version of herself, and not the one he fell in love with. Assuming he did in the first place.
I liked the anime showdown and dialog on the roof more, but i would've liked Airi to be in the hospital aswell. A combination of the manga and animes ending would've been really good I think.
More than remember, she doesn't know him in this timeline.
In the manga he had a reason to feel atracted to her and she meet him at the hospital in the current timeline. In the anime he doesn't have any strong reason to go for her
She had a crush on him in the first timeline when he was two steps from being a shut-in NEET, and with Satoru now outgoing, sociable, and generally a better person than he was before, it's not a stretch for them to get together.
