Reminder that wanting your favourite kanmusu to be in S2 is equivalent to wanting her to be ruined by the anime to the extent that you will no longer like her.
Damn, beaten by mere minutes.

Title: Diamond Rain * Kongou can be short for kongouseki 金剛石, "diamond", and Shigure is a type of rain
Author: Gouta (http://www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=7427931)
[Engrish in caps]
Shigure: Why're you out here?
Kongou: Ah, ahaha... looks like you caught me...
Just taking a break. And you?
Shigure: This is my spot, actually.
Kongou: WHAT!? SORRY! I'll go!
no, it's fine.
Shigure: (There we go)
Shigure: I've never seen you alone before, Kongou.
Kongou: Ah, uh... there's lots of destroyers and light cruisers around here, aren't there?
And since I'm a battleship...
I'm not really on good terms with anyone.
Shigure: But you're always talking with people, Kongou...
Kongou: Talking with people is fun.
But everyone's always so reserved...
Kongou: It'd be nice if I make more friends...
Kongou: Sorry for making this awkward.
Shigure: H-hey, Kongou...
Shigure: How about...
I be your friend?
Shigure: I want to talk with you and learn more about you, Kongou.
I don't want you to feel lonely...
Shigure: And I'll try to speak English too.
I can just ask the Admiral and Ooyodo if I don't get something...
Ooyodo: The documents!
Shigure: Maybe I shouldn't...
what do you say?
as long as you don't push yourself...?
Kongou: Shigure sure is late...
She said she just had an easy mission today...
Kongou: Did something happen...?
Or is she tired of talking with me...
SFX: Huff, puff
Ooyodo: It's clear that the enemy has mobilized in force.
Ooyodo: We stumbled upon the enemy during a patrol.
Ooyodo: This could be the prelude to a large-scale offensive.
Ooyodo: We've retrieved all the girls that came back.
Ooyodo: The lead ship Shigure
was left behind enemy lines.
TTK: Don't forget the difference in numbers.
What can you do alone?
Kongou: ...you're right.
But Shigure is my friend, DESS.
Kongou: She lent me her own strength.
And that's why
I refuse to leave my friend alone, DESS!
TTK: All the more reason
TTK: why I can't let you go alone.
TTK: Your orders!
TTK: First Fleet, led by flagship Kongou,
break through the enemy lines and do whatever it takes...
TTK: to rescue Shigure!
for making everyone worry...
Shigure: Since I'm the most experienced, I thought it'd be best if I served as the decoy...
Kongou: Shigure, you need to look after your own wellbeing!
Tenryuu: Actually, weren't ya the one worried the most?
Kongou: [Indecipherable, unsure if intentional]
...don't abandon me, alright?
Kongou: Shigure and the rest of you are all my important friends, DESS.
There's so much I want to talk about, DESS.
let's talk at that place again.
Kongou: About our
Thanks. It's nice to see girls who aren't normally shown together being friends. That and self-conscious Kongou.
Sadly this chapter doesn't contain much actual mahjong.
Maizuru Naval District Anthology, Volume 10, Chapter 3
Title: Shipgirl Mahjong! ~JongColle Begins~
Author: Syatey (http://www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=2858550)
Amusingly enough he also has a F/SN X Mahjong thing (http://sai-zen-sen.jp/comics/twi4/fatemahjong/)
Jintsuu: How did this happen...
Naka?: It's the Light Cruisers Finals of the Naval District Shipgirls Mahjong Tournament!
Sendai?: Here we have the first place winner of the Semifinals, player Jintsuu!
Naka?: What a dignified way to put it!
Jintsuu: I found myself playing mahjong.
Naka?: Player Jintsuu! Any comments?
I just found myself here, uhm...
Naka: Well then, let's keep moving!
Footnote: I'm Aoba! Thank you for your time! Today's the Mahjong Tournament! Today's another lively festival for the naval district! I'll be writing short reports on the event!
Aye, I like seeing some rounder characterization for Kongou.
Jintsuu: What is this!?
Sendai: As you can see, this is the Mahjong tournament.
Naka: The Light Cruisers Finals!
Sendai?: Here at these Finals, the Data and Intuition Faction and the House of OHKO gather around a single table!
Come to think of it, what faction am I in...?
Naka?: The Fighter Faction!
Ooyodo: I've heard you performed quite a feat of valor at KoronePAIkara. * Pai means tile; Koronehaikara was the Kancolle version (Fall 2015, E-2) of the Battle of Kolombangara [Koronbangara]
But I won't let that happen here,
Ooyodo: Because in my hands, I wield a searchlight. * Jintsuu's usage of searchlights at Kolombangara proved fatal
Jintsuu: You can't use that in mahjong, can you!?
Footnote: In so-called "Shipgirl Mahjong", using equipment is fine! So this type of mahjong isn't influenced by just luck! I'm... not actually any good at it, but, but! I don't run from it, usually!
Naka: Now let's go see how the heavy cruisers' and battleships' tables are faring!
Sendai: The most talented heavy cruisers are playing here.
Haguro: (My sisters are scary...)
Naka: While it's not very flashy, it looks like many of these girls can land solid hits!?
Sendai: In contrast, the fighting at the battleships' table was fierce!
Bismarck: Hold on! I don't know the rules yet!
Just go easy on me for a bi-
Naka: Merciless, aren't they!
Nagato: In Shipgirl Mahjong, luck is still an important factor after all.
Naka: Nagato-san, who possesses both luck and skill, was the winner!
Nagato: Behold! The power of the Big Seven!
Sendai/Naka: That's just chiitoitsu! * Seven pairs of tiles, not particularly hard to pull off
Footnote: By the way, Ashigara-san fought valiantly at the heavy crusiers' table, but it seems Tone-san prevailed. While she is skilled in her own right, it was playing while having fun that made her stronger, huh~
Ya caught me.
Shoukaku: Why are we
fighting over air superiority in mahjong!?
Zuikaku: Why? Ask CarDiv 1, Shoukaku-nee!
Zuikaku: She's the one that started it!
Kaga: The player with air superiority gains the right to take tiles on the field-
It's common sense.
Zuikaku: Play normally!
Footnote: Akagi-san stared at the mahjong tiles for some time, but after telling Kaga-san, "my tiles aren't made of bauxite", she ran off with her back hunched...
Bismarck: Goodness, what a rough time that was...
Eugen: Welcome back!
Max: No luck today either...?
Bismarck: Yeah, mahjong really is more fun when you play with people of the same skill level...
Admiral!? Why's he here? * "Admiral" in German, of course
Libe: It seems they're using the office too,
so he doesn't have anywhere to rest.
Bismarck: Wouldn't it have been better not to hold this event then?
Eugen: Probably... it's like we shipgirls
have forgotten war thanks to the allure of a life of pleasure.
Blissfully playing mahjo-
Bismarck: There were carriers with aircraft deployed earlier.
Eugen?: I-I suppose they're quite spirited.
Footnote: Actually, it seems mahjong has spread to the homeland of Bismarck and co., but they're not used to the minor differences with our version yet. I'm... I'm sure it's rough on them.
Any Germans know what she's talking about? I know there's an American version made by the Jews (literally), but I'm not aware of a German version.
Feels odd man.
Mutsu: Oh my,
we don't meet often, do we?
Sign: Special Invitational
Taihou: So Mutsu-san was invited as well?
I heard there's a special room today.
Well, since they went through all this trouble
Mutsu: let's have a nice...
to the table with an 80% draw rate. * i.e. nobody wins in 80% of hands
Fusou: The sorrowful table where everyone's seen that luck, too, is an ability, yet none of us here have it, so there's no need for try for it. Welcome.
Fusou: Thank you very much for responding to our invitation today. By all means, let us play mahjo-
Mutsu: I-I think I'll go cheer on Nagato-nee...
Fusou: Er, I beg of you, won't you play even one game with us?
Taihou: T-the carrier aircraft maintenance...
Yamashiro: Such misfortune...
Footnote: Fusou-san and Yamashiro-san often sit together, but I rarely see them playing. I'm looking forward to being able to observe their talents next time! That's all from Aoba~!
Didn't expect a typeset from a guy on /k/ (well, /ak/). Serendipitous, I guess.
>Guilty Crown was five years ago
Really well made MMD, though, good light rendering and choreography.
Also fuck, Kagerou shouldn't be this cute.
>no one told him later in the thread that [typeset] on chinkfag's pastebin means they've already been done
There's not an awful left to be typeset on my pastebin anyway, apart from the dregs, borderline yuri or poor quality scans that are hard to work with.
Did you know that Kazagumo exists?
Yes, she is my favorite Yuugumo.
Maizuru Naval District Anthology Volume 10, Chapter 13
Title: Lucky Yukikaze
Author: Tabihito (lit. Traveler Katou) (http://www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=37778)
Ooyodo: The fleet has returned to port.
Kaga: How was the operation, Ooyodo?
Ooyodo: It seems we succeeded in wiping out the main enemy fleet, at least.
Ooyodo: But the enemy was apparently quite tough, so we took a lot of damage...
Akagi: (What a failure...)
Kaga: Even if there are operations while the Admiral's gone... it looks like we can't rest on our laurels.
What about Umikaze?
Asashimo: How do I put it... Yukikaze's damn lucky... as usual...
Asashimo: Sheesh... I can see why they call her the "miracle destroyer"...
Yukikaze: I'm not a miracle!! * See Yukikaze's intro line
Tenryuu: You don't get to say that line in present tense while performing a miracle! * Yes, it's technically present progressive tense
(How the hell is that thing standing?)
Mutsu: My, but isn't it thanks to Yukikaze that all our operations go well?
Mutsu: Enemy torpedoes especially have an almost eerie tendency to avoid Yukikaze, don't they?
Fusou: And so many times after they do, they come right for us.
Yamashiro: (Me too~)
Kiyoshimo: So wouldn't the torpedoes coming be Yukikaze's fault...?
I'm aware of her, just like I'm aware of every ship of her class including Suzukaze.
Yukikaze: ...is Yukikaze making it hard for everyone else...?
Mutsu: Ah, sorry! That's not what I...
that's your gift. There's no need to feel bad about it.
Yukikaze: ...then Yukikaze...
doesn't need something like "luck".
Well the problem is he might typeset stuff that's already been done.
Yukikaze: The only things I wished for was success in operations and more meat in my curry, but...
I'll use this power [luck] for the sake of everyone's happiness!
Kiyoshimo/Asashimo: (There's no meat...)
Wait, that was you...!?
Tenryuu: Shouldn't we stop that?
SFX: Gya! Gyaa!!
Kaga: ...well, guess it's fine.
(Don't think there's much we can do about her ourselves...)
after that day, change came...
Akashi: Kaga-saaan! B-big news!
Akashi: Look! I somehow managed to build a 51cm turret using just the minimum recipe!
Ikazuchi: We found a huge amount of resources on our expedition, Kaga-san!
Kongou: Maruyu got MVP, dess!!
Maruyu: (Sorry, sorry!)
Narration: And then...
the fleet has returned to port!
Kaga: How was the operation, Ooyodo?
Ooyodo: We weren't able to wipe out the enemy, but it was apparently another success.
Ooyodo: While the enemy was quite strong, we took surprisingly light damage.
Kaga: ...I see, our fleet grows stronger by the day.
Kaga: This is weird, no question about it...
Kiyoshimo: What's weird about this!?
Yamato: Sorry for intruding! Battleship Yamato, reporting for duty!
Kaga: All of it.
Kaga: Say what you want, but can't you see just how insanely good everyone's luck is?
Tenryuu: That's... well..
Kaga: Meanwhile, in return...
Kaga: Are you alright?
Yukikaze: How is it? Is everyone as happy as Yukikaze was?
(Yukikaze, doing my best!)
Kaga: So you were the cause after all...
(I couldn't believe you could actually pull off something like this...)
Kaga: This is good enough, so please return to normal.
(As soon as you can)
Tenryuu/Kiyoshimo: No way!!
Yukikaze: B-but, Yukikaze is...
Thanks for the translation!
Kaga: I know you're a kind-hearted kid.
Kaga: And it's because you're a lucky ship...
that when you see your comrades hurt, your heart aches more than anyone else's does.
Kaga: But I think for us to truly be happy-
we have to bring this fighting to an end.
Kaga: And doing so requires your strength.
Kaga: please use your strength to protect us all,
Yukikaze: I will!
Ooyodo: The fleet has returned to port!
It's fucking gigantic, yeah.
Kaga: How was the operation, Ooyodo?
Ooyodo: We managed to completely wipe out the enemy fleet, even in the deepest parts of their waters - a huge success!
Kaga: I see.
Kaga: Everyone -
you've done a great job.
Yukikaze's protected the fleet! * Similar to Yukikaze's Attack line
There is no such thing as too many Yuus.
That's pretty much it for volume 10 of Maizuru, at least in terms of what I want to translate. With the anthology rippers dead I'm not sure what to do now - perhaps I'll scour the older anthologies for things we missed. Or maybe catch up on the play manga? And I'm open to requests as always.
Nigger I didn't quit the threads, I just gave up on getting raws because tools can't keep up with nips and their anti piracy measures.
How about a LN? Kagerou one isn't getting translated is it?
I'm not sure I can handle an LN. Got links to the raws?
It's by that group Chinkfag talked with a few months ago, because they wanted to translate the Crane LN when Chinkfag had already done Volume 1.
I'm pretty sure that group has just given up. Their site hasn't updated and they sure don't look like they're about to do Zuikaku LN volume 2.
Apparently the last volume of the series was released recently.
Rate this Yamashiri, Yamashirianon.
>kanColle fans can't even recognize the ships
Who draws the best Yamashiri shiri?
>carriers are hard
the only difficult ones are the converted passenger ships and some lights but a majority are easy.
need to go look for more images of the fusous after work. hate reposting what was posted already.
the guy is just as bad as my cropping.
Only thing that would make it better is if Iowa had a "make America great" hat on.
I meant on Iowa herself but close enough!
>cuddling with this qt every night
(asked to select all images with boats)
This saddens me greatly
Go nuts with it.
They are her doggy communication devices.
I was farming Arashi until the last day and then switched to Mizuho. Didn't even get to farm for Graf so I had to wait until Winter. Thankfully farming Winter E-3 hard was easy.
Add an exclamation mark to "Lively" like in the original.
Uhh, yeah. Just like Kisaragi
thanks anon. its nice to read translations when im a little bit stressed out .
What do you call this kind of inspection then?
>So why did you call me out here, Teitoku?
dat right right eye
A faker can never surpass the original, Iowanon
You shouldn't impregnate duckies. That's not what they're for.
Please do remind me which WWII ship is alive and floating and which one is sitting at the bottom of the Pacific.
Eat your heart out, Kaga
It's the pain we have to suffer for having Kaga getting sunk by her at Midway.
Kagafag tried to compare helicopters vs WW2 aircraft first. If you're doing a direct comparison of Kaga vs Enterprise, of course you're going to pit the aircraft they hold against each other.
I would use Shimakaze as a daki
Okay, don't really get why the enterprise has to be stuck in the past though, while the new Kaga gets to have its modern aircrafts.
Then again, I don't really bother talking about /k/ stuff on /a/
Taking such an elegant lady to a love hotel is Unforgivable. Akebono was right about you, kuso TTK.
What's wrong with taking a lewd ship girl to a place where ship girls can be lewded?
I'll make sure to save you this time, Kaga-san!
Bah, that's nothing. I got used to it here long time ago already
But Yamato is a first class lady and not lewd in any way whatsoever.
Beautiful Heavy Cruiser.
I want to get drunk with Chitose
I want to get drunk with pudding and make love when she falls asleep.
Side tail Kashima is a thing of miracles.
I've been too lazy to typeset these days. And my repertoire of stuff to typeset basically disappeared once Korean Anon decided to stop doing translations. Anyways, here are some my recommendations:
Normal dialogue in bubble: CC Astro City or CC Wild Words. Take note that the tilde (~) doesn't exist for those fonts, so you'll have to pick a different one if you're going to use a tilde. Personally, I recommend using Akbar for the tilde.
Shout dialogue in jagged bubble: Zud Juice Bold. If shout is really loud/exaggerated, you may opt to use Vin's Dojo or Yard Sale.
Normal dialogue outside box: Akbar or Augie.
Inner thought bubble: CC Jim something (forgot the full name of the font)
Titles: Depends on the original font. I try to match whatever original. Most of the time, I just go with Komika Title or comicdouche.
Also, protip, make sure to make use of optical kerning instead of metric kerning. Most of time, fonts looks better-spaced with optical. Of course, nothing beats manually setting the kerning.
>comes to thread, think the world is his own to piss off of
Yeah yeah, piss this piss that, yell at this yell at that, call someone this call someone that.
Dont you have some place to else to go to cool off?
You mean your whore right?
Because that's what she's only good for
>Like Lurk Bot?
I've been here all this time even in the pass threads. So, I wanna know. What makes you want to hate me or do you want to make me into a meme like Kaga?
The question remains
I headpat my kaga when she gets MVP
I hate that kaga gets spammed in almost every thread.
my buzz is wearing off, I'm going to sleep
Now they can be together on my shelf.
I wish Maya would punch my ass and then we'd fall in love.
I don't like psycho's and I also don't like bitches (Kaga).
If I wanted a love interest I'd pick Shimakaze
In five months for sure, anon!
Would you really call this girl a psychopath?
Look at how adorable she is.
Are there any other boats more willing to share their TTK than Takao and Atago?
Yes I would.
Underneath all that layer of cuteness, there's a side of her that'll make your skin crawl and have you paranoid everytime you sleep at night.
But that's the cutest, most pure and most innocent kind of love there is.
She just really likes her TTk, nothing wrong about that.
Nagato and Mutsu, maybe. Perhaps Akagi/Kaga and Bismarck/Prinz.
Those are small time compared to Takao class combined lust
No, you're shitting on them for being 'fat', making you a fatshitter.
They're fucking amazing, virgin lolifags like you wouldn't even be able to handle real women like Takao.
He clearly said boats
There's some user's saying Ooi use to have a different personality before she became the raging lesbian that she's known as today.
I just want to know whether its true or not.
I think you should make the distinction between how characters are depicted in fanfic and canon.
Their traits are often exaggerated, I think Yamashiro is much more of a raging lesbian than Ooi though, at least Ooi appreciates you for marrying her, but post-anime Ooi is often depicted as being much worse than Yamashiro,
just look at the Uzuki doujin.
So in summary, yes, I would actually say that they're right on this subject.
