I guess I'll go ahead and place my bet for pink & (dark) purple duo, that seems to make sense. Cue the usual "we can't get along" hijinks because they're so different into an ultra special friendship that makes them appreciate difference.
Fifty points to whoever can guess the value theme of the season. (e.g. hope, determination, harmony, self-confidence)
Ufotable actually makes good things, it's just that no ufotable fan has watched them
Why do you ask retarded questions?
No such problems when you are rich, beautiful, socially-friendly, and have magical precure powers, anon!
>News tonight: local rich schoolgirl fucks a dolphin.
Nah, this is clearly a semen demon who rapes everything under her control. From friends to brothers to dolphins. Giving her the powers of the ocean is basically turning the seas into her cum-dump wasteland.
1-hour drawing incoming.
Oh anons who have lost their loves, today's theme will make your heart race once more. Today's theme is Aida Mana aka Cure Heart. Why haven't you accept her as your lord and svior yet?
Looks like someone has been browsing /pc/.
You have one wish that Toei has to incorporate your idea in every following Precure season to improve the quality and profitability of the franchise.
How about cute boys in skimpy dresses?
Singing while fighting. Vocal albums to be released monthly.
I'm under the impression you don't take this serious.
How about boys only spinoff for the older little girls?
I'm very serious about how cute Ito is.
Alternatively, adventure/fantasy world exploration setting.
Get rid of the stubborn and restrictive MOTW formula and focus more on character interaction and story arcs over 3-5 episodes but keep it as simple and fun as possible. This would make it more interesting for older demographics which are more likely willing to pay for overpriced merch and BDs.
It's a great thing that /pc/ has no input in this franchise because judging by these responses Precure would be long dead and buried if it did.
Kashikoma! Leave it to me, onee-chan!
Kawamura tweeted, "Coco died... ｡･ﾟ･(*ﾉД`*)･ﾟ･。"
She meant one of her cats. It died of, and I quote, "cat AIDS"
>Black Maho is actually another Dark Precure but gets character agency and is followed like a proper precure.
Pipe dreams, ITT.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! What are you all thankful for? This lovely cat is thankful for a best friend that will always be by her side.
>Cure Onpu Rapapa
It's a good thing these two are not your average cats.
But still, why you gotta be like that?
If that's true, why are they made of ink?
They're probably just puppets, too.
Please learn to find your own feet pictures. It is not difficult.
When will Precure get this bold?
Just want to say this little shit is annoying.
Also, I went to look for a picture of him googling "Precure Porun," which was not a good idea
Also, while I'm at it,
This is the third episode I've watched where Porun has escaped from the house without anybody knowing where he is.
It's also the second episode where they say as much in the episode title.
Seriously? This dude is like Candy before Candy was a thing.
>Each Cure now has at LEAST 4 spells at their disposal when fighting
>Which they proceed to use often and in many different applications
>Only one of these is a finishing move which they don't use often, if at all
If Smile or Yes, or any other element-oriented Precure show did this, I'd eat that shit up like candy.
Sorry, our witch overlords are currently captured.
Better useless than either dead or married to a now pregnant and depressed mother Yuri.
I'd still gladly marry a Yuri if it was consented.
I see what you did there. Hated when Burmy showed up, useless piece of crud. Have more of best girl. Coincidentally, it should also please >>134028077.
I'm in love with this finishing move.
I'm not one for feet, but I was going to post it regardless. Have fun with that, at least Yayoi is cute. Good night, /pc/.
I'm guessing that it will have 5 cures since the logo has same colors as Smile logo (and the rainbow too). Somehow the recent series often has the colors of the cures in the logo.
Girls wearing lipstick in anime in general always made me like their look less.
Conversly, women who usually wear makeup having a scene wherein they don't wear lipstick for a moment look cute.
If they don't cake it on, kids might not notice.
Gotta market dat toilet.
>Get rid of the stubborn and restrictive MOTW formula
I really don't get why they don't do this. Toei making a mahou shoujo that alternates between action and slice of life would be pretty much ideal, as they've made both, but not something that's a more even mix. I don't get why they don't given I can't see any issue they'd have scheduling it, and each of the production teams could focus on their strengths outside of the climaxes or parts that involve strong continuity while appealing to all audiences.
But Sailor Moon had the same issue, the last two episodes of S were particularly weird because of the forced fights in them that shouldn't have been necessary at all.
>Precure is known for its action
I'm specifically suggesting a new series that isn't Precure to avoid that problem.
Toei has done good SoL focused mahou shoujo and series that focus on direct conflict. I don't see what they have to loose by combining the two properly, as it would only free them up to do whatever they wanted depending on circumstance. The characters would hardly be harmed by direct reliance on powers that they use to interact with other people.
>I'm specifically suggesting a new series that isn't Precure to avoid that problem.
Oh, I'm actually all for that. I've been kindasorta calling for Precure to end since they could really refresh their NichiAsa 8:30 timeslot. The formula is getting stale and disaster results whenever they deviate from it, but PRECURE is a household name they can't let go of.
But if they start a new IP, it would have to be some lighthearted, fun idol thing (which they actually have, but we don't know the status of) since that's what is currently making bank from Japanese little girls.
If Mahou Tsukai weren't a Precure show, then it could totally go for a darker tone/atmosphere while still keeping the writing light enough for children. But that won't happen since it will be colorful and fun and the OP song will be the usual.
There really needs to be some breakout mahou shoujo manga from Nakayoshi/Ribon/HanaYume. It's upsetting how the last mahou shoujo anime adapted from a shoujo manga was Shugo Chara! back in 2007... Ribon had Sakura Hime Kaden, but that was shit and Arinacchi is way past her prime. Nakayoshi had some mahou shoujo manga that was canceled in about two years, plus the Tooyama Ema one with the nice art and shit Tooyama writing. HanaYume...I have no idea, though I don't think any of their long runners are magical girls. Higutan serialized this: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2014-08-02/gakuen-alice-higuchi-starts-anne-no-magomago-tosho-land-manga/.77221 which was canceled within a year.
tl;dr I miss the boom of the 90s-00s.
Yeah, I feel the same way. The thing is Toei basically have a monopoly on 'proper' mahou shoujo, and the rest is now made up of late night seinens with generally less regard for character development. It's a sad state of affairs.
But I've survived Nantsuiro drops so anything will do.
We need a new saviour of Mahou Shoujo, something that will demolish even Sakura.
I haven't watched any of those. They're pretty low priority since I have a backlog of children's shows that interest me more. My friend likes Kurukuru though, and I trust her opinion (though a dance-off she linked to did not inspire much confidence).
What I yearn for is an anime adapted from a shoujo manga aimed toward the younger demographic more than anything. (But not too young. I ignore anything and everything from Ciao.) Those just don't happen nowadays unless they're shilling some specific merchandise (Yumeiro Patissiere) since they'll just be a pointless adaption and fail (Kamichama Karin).
Sakura is perfect, but there's always something that can trump her.
Like a Sakura remake with brown skin.
>What I yearn for is an anime adapted from a shoujo manga aimed toward the younger demographic more than anything.
The issue isn't the demographic itself, so much as things that aren't aimed at children tending to pander to otaku specifically. Kid's magical girl shows tend to be great because they're frequently directed by people who honestly want to explore the characters on screen and do interesting things with them and their lives, which the purely seinen shows rarely do in the same fashion. If the late night shows (including things like straight up SoLs) were to do this, and with the same talent behind the children's fare, I wouldn't have much issue. They never do though.
I meant that the shoujo manga usually adapted for late night tend to be well-written romances with unremarkable premises. Sometimes, a miracle such as SoreSeka or AkaYona will happen, but it's usually that same shit. Shoujo serializations aimed toward younger girls tend to have more unique, fantastical premises. There are the usual mundane middle school romances, but those will be skipped over when there are better mundane high school romances aimed toward older girls.
Since anime is supposed to sell something, shows nowadays that are aimed toward kids will not be successful if they aren't aggressively advertising a toy or game, thus there's no reason to adapt them. I guess I'm just repeating your point here.
I was sure ARISA would've gotten a late night adaption at some point, but eh, it didn't.
>Since anime is supposed to sell something, shows nowadays that are aimed toward kids will not be successful if they aren't aggressively advertising a toy or game, thus there's no reason to adapt them.
Only NHK can save us now.
>DanSchneider as executive producer.gif
What if this airs furing winter NichiAsa http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2015-03-12/toei-frontier-works-collaborate-on-maho-shonen-days-project/.85906
This will stole all the spotlight from KinPri
And so is Cure Muse. What kind of teen girls hang out with bitchy little girls?
Yes, what I just described. An author self insert who is always liked (or tragically disliked by only obviously evil characters), is always right in the end, and has a "flaw[s]" that don't actually detract from her character. Do you know?
I find the lack of kig...disturbing...
Are you girls ready for the inevitable ruined Christmas episode leading into the finale?
Did somebody say disturbing kigs!
Should I have called Mana Sanae?
Would that have made you happy?
I payed for CR once. They charged my card, denied me the service, and it took 6 months of bitching at them before they refunded me. And in order to do that, I had to bitch at the social media person on facebook.
That's not a nice thing to say about Her Majesty Princess Hope Delight Towa.
> hard working
> not intelligent but smart enough to pass tests
> president of her school
> puts everyone else before her even if she has to make sacrifices
> carries the burden of 2 worlds on her shoulders without letting it crush her
> beloved by everyone who meets her
How can one girl be so alpha?
I want to lick frosting off that, too.
Have a loose plan from the start. Not a detailed plan, but a general idea of where things would go and what will be revealed.
It's really noticeable when they're writing at the seat of their pants.
>HaCha's true villain is a Blue's brother from a planet we've never even heard of before! Also the generals have backstories oh wait nevermind.
>Two disappearing generals in Doki, plus the whole mess with Aguri/Regina/Ai/Marie-Ange
>Suite's weird tonal shifts and Falsetto sudden increase in villany. Though I always suspected the tone shifts was in reaction to Fukushima
Most recently an interview with the crew behind GoPri stated that the Dyspear generals were back to being serious evil villains. We now have a Kuroro and Shut being Shut.
Said interview also stated they write act by act.
I still appreciate you, daily Minamin anon.
I can't remember them bringing it up it in relation to Noise again, unless it happened in the movie?
Obviously he had some relation to blue, but another god from another planet?
>Regina and Aguri have identical designs too.
Then Ai and Angie-Marie and all that went down.
Why aren't any of those faggots doing the jump right.
Guys, I'm going to propose to Tsubomi
Wish me luck
Periods start before 14.
Unless they're genetic fuck ups like my sister who produce too much testosterone (she uses T-blockers or something)
No. It was Akira Inagami for those seasons.
That is what I get for relying solely upon the internet.
It would be rather acceptable for me to marry her now then.
1-hour drawing incoming.
To go together with yesterday's theme, today's theme is Mana's bestest childhood friend, Hishikawa Rikka aka Cure Diamond.
I love Rikka so much. So, so much. And all of you as well!
Diamond is still the worst Doki cure design by a large margin.
You take that back you son of a bitch.
Not kidding when I say this: She has one of the best cure designs in the franchise.
>Hair is curly and long like the Queen hair on old face-cards.
>Costume is extremely feathery to represent her status as the Blue Bird.
Makes sense to me.
>This isn't canon
>Ira said "Ayy later bitch" and fucked off
Rejection is the lynchpin of good romance.
Toei writers are dum.
Mana chose the Aryan princess over the filthy commoner.
She's actually really plain and doesn't stand up at all. And her character is also insipid and leaves a lot to be desired. She's a solid C tier precure and a B tier precure at best.
>She's actually really plain and doesn't stand up at all.
She's extremely stylistic and stands out among the group.
>And her character is also insipid and leaves a lot to be desired
She's also the most dependable of the cast.
You're right though in that they could have done WAY MORE with her character. It's just that her design is really good, and I'm yet to see a Precure surpass her design since.
>She's extremely stylistic and stands out among the group.
Bitch please. That spot is reserved for Alice and even MakoPi on a bad day can outshine her.
>She's also the most dependable of the cast.
>Bitch please. That spot is reserved for Alice and even MakoPi on a bad day can outshine her.
>Shoved aside rich girl and unfinished character arc outshining Mana's right hand precure.
If Mana is the great landmark office tower, the center of a nation's growth and prosperity, laden with great technology, hope of humanity, and cultural beauty, Rikka is the boring bedrock where it stands on.
Rikka is the beautiful, unblemished road that leads to it.
That's at least 50% of why I love her.
What a dumb person, anyone who is loved by Mana is by definition not ugly.
>Mana loves you no matter what
Provably false. Mana only loves the beautiful, like Rikka.
Why is it pink
why is it frilly
Who is she trying to impress?
