I watched alot and read alot while growing up there, before i immigrated to amerifat, and now that I'm comparing korean stuff to Japanese stuff, Japan wins by landslide. Korean anime are mostly anime with shit dubs (va can't act for shit) or just broadcast it sub. Original works are low budgeted so animation sucks and voice acting sucks even more.
Japan already did everything first and Korea's just imitating trying to make a subculture mainstream enough to cash in and call it their own.

Compare vectaman with super sentai/kamen rider. Id do an anime comparison, but Korea doesn't have anything significant to compare it to. Korea does have originals like baby dinosaur dooly, and the latter since the 80s, but who in their right minds actually talk about those inferior shows?

How can you fags just blindly dismiss an entire country? There are plenty of good manhwa and webcomics like The Breaker and Girl of the Wilds.

every other manwha ive read has really really good art and started off pretty good, somewhere in the middle it all turns into incomprehensible bullshit, power levels, and forced drama
at this point it either stalls out and is never finished or it keeps going and you are just waiting to see how the train wreck ends

i cant think of one manwha where the ending was a satisfying conclusion except ares

Why are Korean comics always so edgy? You can always tell you're reading a manhwa because

It's not that anime and manga never have these things, but the Japanese are able to write things that are wholly pure and innocent. The Koreans, meanwhile, always have to make life seem ugly.
