At least he still has enough mysteries surrounding him to keep him interesting at least to me he is I mean he could be a long lost Asian, Mikasa's brother/father/uncle, a bastard child of either Reiss or Fritz, a super-soldier to protect the coordinate like Mikasa, there's too many theories surrounding him that could be true.
