The day after I didn't know what to do with my life. I felt like starting anything and doing anything was meaningless anyway so why try.

In retrospective I believe I had an ego death experience and I heard that many people experience it more pleasent. And now I ask myself, why did it make me cry? Why did I experience the loss of ego as the ultimate loneliness. I feel like I need to confront it again because I really can't carry on like this. Instead of finding peace like many others do on ego death I stirred everything up even more.
I feel like I am betraying myself if I forget about who I truly am but right now it seems like the only thing that would calm me down again.

Did you guys had similar experiences and how did you deal with it?

With tripping things are distorted and offkey from every normal sense of the word. Ego death is a way to see yourself beyond your own bias and cultural impressions of your thought process and how you reject opposing schools of thought.
As you degrade and watch all those layers of cognitive process fray you are able to truly observe yourself judging things for what you imprint and project into them, not usually letting them become their own entity.
We all reach a point to where we have no layers left and you are truly experiencing things for what they are and the whole world seems to be something all anew. Glistening in a different way we have never seen before since we are living in that moment, not analyzing with our previous experiences.
When I am so removed from my normal mentality I have stripped so much away from my processing that it's easy to get connected to your core, specifically your own core unconsciousness. THIS is what you were experiencing since that spirit is the God in all of us. It is what connects us between all timelines and lifelines.

Ben Rich was the second director of Lockheed Skunkwork's from 1975-1991. He's been called the Father of Stealth, having overseen the development of the stealth fighter, the F-117A nighthawk.

Before his death, Rich made several shocking open statements about the reality of UFOs and extraterrestrials.

My uncle had this mask on Halloween that was given to him from our great grandmother. He had saved it for Halloween all year and when he finally wore it, he said he could hear voices and see slight shadows shifting in the corner of his eyes. He got a fuck ton of candy that year because the mask was terrifying. To give a description of the mask, it was woodcarved, kinda aged, with the mouth hole shaped like an oval but with the narrower curves being vertical and the eye wholes were more of rectangular slits. The mask was painted blue on specific spots inside the mask, and red on opposite. Seeing the mask never gave me an odd feeling or anything but after he told me what he had witnessed through his Halloween night, I had more interest in it.

I've taken an interest in Japanese masks. I've been meaning to see if there are any good books or documentaries about their use in ritual.

Obviously, there's a lengthy history with Noh. I love how the masks used for that are able to express emotion purely by the movement of the actors. Says a lot about the versatility of a well-made mask, and how the character of the mask is sort of give-and-take. One doesn't just need to wear it, but also become it.
