Is it actually possible to trick your brain into creating a tulpa or is it all just larping?

Personally im not sure but if people can trick their brains into believing the earth is flat then anything is possible.
>>
>>19041636
I tried it once and I think it's real. I stopped because possible effects she could have on whatever is left of my social life scared me. I didn't wanted to become that weirdo with made up waifu, although I must admit, it was really nice while it lasted. You'd be surprised just how real you can make it.
They never quite leave, sometimes when I lie alone in bed I can still feel her, or even hear her talking. She's not even mad I stopped, just dissapointed.
>>
>>19041636
What'll really boil your noodles is if you ever realize that every day life is a LARP.

Then the tulpas come easier after that.

I believe the best way to prove the shape of the Earth is also the simplest. It doesnt involve the complexity of tracking celestial bodies, the problems of long range optics, etc. Quite simply: Does water curve or not?

Known properties of (still) large bodies of water:
>Bottom conforms exactly to shape of container
>Surface conforms exactly to the curvature of earth

Test setup:
>Find very flat area
>Build 1 mile long channel (square cross section)
>Ensure straightness
>Fill with water
>Measure depth every X feet, plot the data
>Whatever the result, represents the Earth

>If flat - Flat Earth
>If curved - Round Earth - Does it match the known diameter?

To my knowledge curved water has never been experimentally demonstrated, it's about time someone tried.

>>
If you slightly overfill a glass with water then the surface curves due to surface tension.
>>
>>19041343
>simplest
>build a mile long perfectly straight channel of water

A fucking stick in the ground will prove the earth is round you retarded faggot. building some kind of mile long swimming pool I s not simple, just kill yourself now and do your part to cleanse the gene pool.
>>
>>19041370
Thats why you need a long channel and not a cup. You want gravity to be the main force determining the surface geometry, like it is on the globe model

Why are Hindu gods so fucking scary? I cant be the only one that feels this way right? simply seeing a picture of any Hindu deity gives me a sense of deep primal fear

Same my dude. I think of hindu gods in my head as some kind of evil conspiracy that scares me into behaving the way they ordain. All of their overwhelming power, their intense but seemingly senseless complexity, their billions of hands (hands are a fucking meme anyway), they seem very might is right. Fuck man if they actually represent reality then reality sucks.
>>
Just one anon's opinion, but it could be due to a difference in the way different gods display their powers. Western Abrahamism is full of stories of their god being a bad-ass, but he's always abstract. Then in the sequel he's incarnate but really chill. He's never bad-ass AND incarnate.
In the Hindu lore the gods don't seem to give a shit and just incarnate and start throwing lightning bolts or whatever. People of the Hindu faith don't seem to be afraid of this, it's just expected. Like yea duh, it's a god, of course it's going to do some godly shit.
tl;dr the frankness of other pantheons is unusual and off-putting to westerners who are used to a more toned-down subtle deity.

So /x/ I know you guys hate tulpas but I got a question for you guys. I've been to tulpa.info but those guys seem like a bunch of fags that wish they were ponies. But anyways I have a stable mind, in the sense I'm not crazy. I do things on impulse and a bunch of other things I don't really care about getting into. But in all honesty is tulpas bad for the brain. It seems like it can be cool to have a life long friend. Alittle back story I'm a normal person I don't get autistic bucks from the state I work and go to school. But for someone to be able to watch over me and be like wait don't do that don't buy that, or don't say that. It would help.

You have to do it correctly though.

Making a single, one additional thought form, and mentally embracing it as if it were a person will make you bipolar. Because now your brain + body needs to support two thought forms, instead of just the usual one.

Two is highly unstable.

Think of it like a government system for your body. If you're going to do ponies, then I'd say make mane six... (Seven? Is Starlight Glimmer a thing? Whatever.) To create a council of tulpas, such that their combined power is enough to make its presence noticible, but not overtake your body's metabolism.

If you get very good, you will be able to direct individual cell clusters to be under the purview of specifically some of your council tulpas. This is not physically different than having a mnemonic system that helps you remember how your consciousness interracts with your body. The tulpas really just become symbols for specific neural pathways in your body.

But, the word "I" is already that symbol. The question is how many symbols do you want, and how are you willing to differentiate them, both physically and consciously?

I won't lie--done incorrectly, it can screw your body over. Does any one on Earth actually know what a functional government looks like? Done correctly however, it affords you more efficacious mediation between your physical and conscious awareness. Perhaps even to the degree that certain cell clusters that mediate perception, such as the visual cortex, work together and edit your perceptions to generate real time Augmented Reality, all biologically without needing to wear VR specs or anything.

That's literally what the imagination always was, to begin with.

Hmmm I see, thanks. Just the thing is it sounds helpful but when you put it that, if I read it right. You are saying that it can go good but it can go very very bad. So I'm kind of on the fence about it.

Everything is conscious, on all levels of existence. This is the only way I can make sense of the fact that I have an experience. Or everything does, or nothing would ever do.

Molecules, cells, your arm, you, your house, your family unit, your city and a piece of plastic. Everything has some kind of experience that is of course totally different from ours.

Computers and the internet are particularly interesting to think about.

Because they need the feeling that his bad behavior is justifiable and are so retards to believe in stupid things like Malverde just like everyone else...
>>
>>19051043
what's the origin of Santa Muerte anyway? I don't think it's present in christianity
>>
>>19051123
The Mexican "catoliccism" is basicly hiden ocultism. The "saints" are more important than God or even God dosn't matter go them.
La santa muerte could be a result of El día de muertos when mexicans worship the death of his family members and respect the death which for them is a a she. Then someone got crazy enought to ask to la santa muerte something... She "did what he ask" and boom... A new "saint" like Malverde

There's a person I know of from 5 years ago who died at the start of this year, I never really knew her but whenever I saw her I always thought she was attractive. After the initial 'oh she died' when I found out, I didn't really give it much more thought. For the past month I keep frequently seeing her in my dreams talking to me, what does this mean? Is it paranormal or just a normal occurrence? My dream last night she was over at my house and we were talking, I mentioned that she is now dead and she was then in a panicked denial about being dead. I just find it strange because I never really knew her (said one or two words maybe once) so I have pretty much no connection to her.

Her spirit needs help passing on.
Did she die young?
It seems she wasn't ready.
>>
>>19051012
Yeah way too young. The thing is I used to have a crush on her 5+ years ago, but I never spoke to her other than maybe a thank you for holding a door open, I doubt she'd even know I existed

Last saturday (20th) I went to a shamanic Ayahuasca ritual and had a conversation about The Universe with my spiritual tutor, which taught me many things about the 3D plane of existence.

How does the effects of ayahuasca differ from a 400ug LSD dose?
>>
>>19049975
What did it tell you man, you know we want to know
>>
>>19050005
It's very different. A lot of it comes from the fact that each person has a unique experience that depends on how much the person is ready to understand or needs to know. It's similar in the sense that you will trip, but I have never experienced a LSD trip where I completely lost control of my thoughts, and the beauty is in this "lost of control". I will explain this further in the next answer. One may have a lot of visuals depending on what kind of trip they are having, but this doesn't come from the fact that you're hallucinating. It's the opening of the third eye (frontal chakra) opening.
