We have all experienced dropping off to sleep for a few minutes and having what seem like very long, complex dream adventures, and having dreams use external stimuli that only lasts a few seconds to create aspects of dreams that last a lot longer than a few seconds, such as an alarm clock or your feet slipping out of the duvet.
Is this a sign that our subconscious mind can work much, much quicker than our conscious mind? Would it be possible to unlock this thinking speed in waking life?
Or is it a sign that time as we know it is not as linear, simple and inescapable as we think?
what's the end game here?

This ever happen to anyone else? This weird state of being immensely sleepy, sort of a wake, sort of dreaming. It happened to me one other time while my 3rd eye was going crazy overactive. I'd close my eyes and my eyelids felt impossibly heavy and I would be sort of like lucid dreaming/astral something the second my eyes closed and id open them and be fine but still in a weird head space. There were these white wisps everywhere too. Similar thing just happened to me after doing a 3rd eye meditation. I laid down eyes closed and slowly entered a similar state. Didnt feel like a regular dream i was just in my house again but in a weird dreamlike state. It wasnt pleasant and I kept trying to wake up but would be near immediately pulled back into it. It feels similar to an acid trip. Is this any different from a regular dream? It feels weirdly linked to my 3rd eye chakra. While in this state i'd be completely aware i wasnt in a regular space. It wasnt like being in a dream in which I'm unaware. I could create basically anything I wanted the only catch was I felt pretty afraid the whole time because I wasnt really able to leave the place at will. Its like sleep paralysis but being able to move.

It's called a hypnagogic state, has nothing to do with third eyes, fourth eyes, or fifth eyes.
I can *sort of* enter this state you're talking about at will now I've been practicing for a little under a year. If I let it progress long enough I'll start seeing little snapshots of different places and people's faces. I've been calling it cerebro since it's the closest visual comparison I could draw to it.
I gotta admit it's hella intimidating when the people you see look back at you. Some of them have just been curious, but I've got nothing but the heebiest of jeebies from most of them.

Why can't they just let Lenny be? Jeez, guy was probably chilling with with Mahler and Stravinsky. How would you feel if after a life-time of dealing with pretentious musicians you suddenly get dragged back to talk to a buch if Ivy League /x/fags.

Someone go on google earth and see if you can get a street view.
It's a village in Tamdy of Uzbekistan. It's the middle east. theres tons of deserted towns and depleted housing areas that have been abandoned. Usually its that they lose their cave man sewer systems or their water dries out.

When I was younger, maybe 7 or 8 my parents moved us out of our original house into a newer, larger one. It had 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, with the main bathroom in the hall connecting to the 2 lesser bedrooms. The main hall lead from the kitchen and living room, a left directly from the door, making this bathroom a very commonly used and basically the only bathroom in the house other than the one in my parents room.
It was probably the first night that we had moved into the house, hadn't really gotten too much unpacked, just mattresses and the essential things like flashlights for the dark. It was maybe 9 o'clock at night, wasn't necessarily too late but I was just a kid.
I got up after a bit of sleep, my bladder bursting. I rushed to the bathroom as quick as I could, not paying mind to my surroundings. It was a pretty basic trip at this point, but when I go and it gets quiet, the rushing of waters had quelled, I hear crying. And this isn't the type of crying you expect, it's not a woman or a little kid, it's the sobbing of a grown man. And as I'm listening to this crying I get up, kind of confused and walk back into the hallway. I go to make the round to my sleeping area, when suddenly I see something move in the corner of my eye, I turn to give it a look and all I can see is the door, not even fully open just barely ajar, the pitch black interior seemed to be lapping at the light from my flashlight. My guts wrenched, and I opened the door, curiosity must have killed the cat. As I open the door the crying stops, and I look at the ceiling, horrified by the site of a grown man hanging there, it was gone in an instant but I know what I saw.
Thanks for reading, I know it's not the scariest but I can say for certain it's true, you decide.
