Hi /wsr/. I received my new cpu(phenom 1090>fx 8370) today, i tried to see if it launched w/o reinstalling windows but it didnt (bsod).

So my question is, what are a the solution to install a clean W7 w/o loosing my data (all my external hdd are full) ?

I thought about making a new partition and install the clean W7 on it but i dont know if you can fuse the new partition and the old one together.

Setting aside the fact that you seem to have a dangerously poor understanding of things, in broad terms, you could do this:

>Burn a linux live DVD/USB.
>Boot into linux.
>>At this point, if you can find software to access/copy files from your Windows partition in linux, you could fork here as follows:
>>[Get your shit back from the Windows partition; back up to external storage.]
>>[Boot from a W7 DVD and install W7.]
>>[Done.]
>>If not, continue:
>Find partition manager software for linux.
>Reduce your (BSODing/broken?) Windows partition as much as possible.
>Boot from a W7 DVD and install W7 into the newly created free space, creating a new W7 partition in the process.
>Boot into your new W7 and get your shit back from the old Windows partition.
>Delete the old partition.
>Extend the new partition to take up the entire disk.

About what exactly, tell me i dont want to make mistakes please

I never did a dual boot before, when i have new W7 does the computer gives me the choice to choose which partition i want to boot on automatically or i have to do something before in the bios ?

Hey t/ /wsr/, so I was browsing x when I remembered about a video game based on norse/celtic mythology. It was a point and click horror game with puzzles and a black and white aesthetic. I remember that it had a phone companion app which was like a catalog of all the monsters in the game, i.e. Gave names and their powers and such. If I remember correctly, pewdiepie played it near its release date around 2014.

There was this pixel artist who made a bunch of pictures of pretty scenery and animated them by making the palette shift in color, and put them all on one page. Does anybody have a link to that?

hey /wsr/, I have a request for an image that has been bothering me for the past 10 minutes. So I'm looking for this cover of an old PS1 game that I remember seeing as a kid but never played due to not owning a PS1. The only description I remember about it was that the cover had a small scared creature at the front (think a rabbit?), a boy behind it that looked like an asshole who wanted to catch it, and a monster/bear type thing who was about to grab the kid. Any help would be appreciated.

Nah it's not Monster Rancher but thanks. It's really weird cause I've spent the last 10 minutes on google image trying to find it but nothing comes up. Only thing I also remember is that the cover is at night time. Also I think the rabbit thing was pink and the bear thing purple/red...it's a weird game that I only saw a few times at blockbuster as a kid.
